The mood is romantic and mellow cool with soft lighting.
The theme of relaxed, inviting elegance extends to the bar and the patio.
The menu offers great classics such as Escargots in garlic butter, Duck confit, as well as Mussels marinieres or Scallops with mushroom raviolis.
From best French restaurant to best 100 overall restaurant, atmosphere has an impressive collection of awards and "Best of" nominations since its opening in 2002.
No wonder it is rated excellent by Zagat revue and #1 French restaurant in the city.

Atmosphere is on our way to Synchronicity Theater at Pershing Point. The dishes are well prepared and seasoned. We particularly like the Coquilles Saint-Jacques and Trout Amandine. They stock an NZ Sauvignon Blanc (Woodblock).
Authentic French bistro cuisine including escargot, frog legs, duck confit and trout amandine. All done very well and served pleasantly.
I have been here for both brunch and dinner. It is always delicious!
Fathers Day brunch.
We went for anniversary lunch. The food was divine; the service was great. Everyone made this a great experience for us.
Delicious from start to finish! Will definitely be back.
Their food was good, we love it and we are going to return back. The food taste good and worth the price.
Loved the ambience, coziness, and the food was as good as I had heard. Our server, Guillaume, was attentive and helpful. Will be back.
It was a wonderful meal from the wine, to the escargot , to the hanger steak to the chocolate mousse. It was a lovely atmosphere for a late lunch with colleagues from work. I will definitely return again for dinner.
We always enjoy Atmosphere Bistro for brunch on Sundays. It is one of the few places where you can go dressed up from church, or dressed more casually and still feel comfortable. The food is excellent. You can sit indoors or out. Love it!
Once again our brunch at Atmosphere was extraordinary. Food was awesome!! I tried the seafood special with the halibut and it was great!!! Definitely going back in fact heading there tonight for another wine tasting.
Love the food and service here. We have only recently found this little gem. Worth the drive from a northern suburb. Our new favorite.
One of my favorite restaurants in Atlanta. Great menu, friendly helpful staff in a quiet, intimate atmosphere. Convenient location in Midtown.
My wife and I have celebrated our wedding anniversary at Atmosphere enough times now to almost call it a tradition. The escargot is amazing, and so are the mussels (even the bread is a cut above)! We truly enjoy the small size, professionalism and knowledgeability of the wait staff, ambiance, and of course the food! Everything we have tried has been fantastic, and we will continue to dine there for years to come.
We were a party of six, and most of us had never eaten at Atmosphere. Our table was ready for us when we arrived, and service was prompt and polite. The food and beverages were delicious. It was a great evening and put four of us in the mood for our upcoming trip to the South of France.
Excellent food and outstanding service!
Sitting at Atmosphere for an anniversary dinner, we reviewed other memorable French restaurants from travels. Our Kronenberg beers, with satisfying salmon pate and Roquefort endive salad, paired tastily with salmon filet in sauce and lamb tips entrees. What a satisfying meal with subtle flavors and ample portions. Our walk to and from this neighborhood gem made it feel all the more authentically French and us, urbane.
The food, as usual, was very good. The bread is outstanding. The service was attentive but not intrusive, and we were not rushed.
There is a reason this one of our favorite restaurants. Always wonderful!
Delightful, what a neighborhood gem. Good food, good service and atmosphere just like the name. Highly recommend this place.
We had brunch there on 5/19/19 there was four of us. Everything was very nice, we decided to eat inside because it was starting to get hot, we had a wonderful brunch and experience.
Always one of our favorites in Atlanta!
Atmosphere is my favorite restaurant in Atlanta. The owners and staff give diners a big welcome when you enter. Ben was our server last weekend. He provided excellent service. Our appetizers were outstanding. We ordered the cheese platter to share. There were 3 cheeses, each had a distinctive taste. For entrees I ordered the trout which was outstanding. My friend had the lamb liver which very good. The presentation was excellent. We had no room for the dessert. In the past we ordered the profiteroles. I think that is the best dessert.
I have had no complaints about my experiences there. I highly recommend it.
The food and service were good. The eggs were properly poached, and the brunch
was very pleasant. The only negative is that the street noise can be very loud at times.
Real gem of a restaurant--small and intimate. Food and drinks excellent Just discovered it 6 months ago after passing it a 100 times
Our son picked Atmosphere for his 16th birthday dinner and it was fabulous. We started with the cheese plate and charcuterie which were delicious but did not come with any sliced bread or crackers rather than the large loaves of bread on the table. Entrees were Coquille St. Jacques, beef tenderloin, and mussels. The scallops were perfection and the mushroom ravioli such a tasty complement. The tenderloin melted in my mouth. Every mussel was perfection and the fries were the best I have ever had. Our server even offered to bring more. The wine recommendations, a Sanceer and a Pinot Noir were lovely pairings. Desserts, the profiteroles and chocolate mousse, did not disappoint! Cannot wait to go back!
We loved this Cosy little restaurant. The waitress was excellent and helped with a delightful wine selection. We had reservations at 8:30. We were asked to leave by the manager at 10:00 because they were closing. I was shocked! We were quiet and enjoying our wine. We hope they had to get home quickly, because in all my years I have never been told To leave. The food was delicious.
Everything was delicious and the dining room was lovely.
Hidden jewel--Terrific intown Atlanta neighborhood French bistro, "Atmosphere."
Wonderful meal and setting for our anniversary dinner tonight at Atmosphere, an intimate French bistro in intown Atlanta. We found both the mussels appetizer and scallops entree (Coquille St. Jacque) delicious, and my wife's beet salad with pistachio and goat cheese, and trout almandine entree were also excellent. Servers were warm, friendly, and attentive. It is a converted home and thus a nice, cozy environment that fits the name "Atmosphere."
We will definitely return.
Lovely and authentic French
A great place for good food and good conversation. My husband got the liver and said it was too rare but he should have ordered it medium, so his fault. Everything else was delicious. Good, personable waiter.
Atmosphere is billed as an upscale, fine dining french restaurant. We celebrated our daughters 40th here, and found that reality does not live up to the billing. First our server, though sweet, was a pure amateur.. She tried, but seemed muddled and inexperienced. Service at an upscale restaurant should be attentive, crisp and entirely professional. Perhaps the restaurant is to blame for her lack of training and seasoning.
The cuisine was uninspired and not memorable. At these elevated prices, the food should be exquisite and memorable. Atmosphere's cuisine was neither. It was bland and boring. We do not intend to return.
The best place in Atlanta to enjoy a delicious lunch and have a meaningful conversation. There’s nothing else like it.
What a hidden gem! Attentive wait staff, excellent fresh food!
one of my favorite hidden gem restaurants to go in Atlanta. Always great food, ambiance and service.
We were celebrating a birthday and everything was lovely.
Lunch was a nice quiet time to go. The service was attentive, excellent wine selection and recommendations. The trout almondin was excellent and with the fingerling potatoes, green beans and carrots it was a perfect size portion.
We sat outside. There was a guy doing pressure washing on the house next door. I certainly would not hold that against the restaurant. The guy actually came over and apologized for the noise.
The food was really good as always. The bar was a bit backed up due to the thirsty Easter crowd.
Atmosphere is my favorite Atlanta restaurant. Wonderful ambiance. service, consistently great food.
You can talk with your table mates without having to lean over the table with your ear cupped straining to hear what was said. Outside eating in good weather. I have been coming here since they opened during the Atlanta Olympics in 1996 and have never been disappointed whether it's a family event, a holiday or meeting old friends. Never rushed.
