The mood is romantic and mellow cool with soft lighting.
The theme of relaxed, inviting elegance extends to the bar and the patio.
The menu offers great classics such as Escargots in garlic butter, Duck confit, as well as Mussels marinieres or Scallops with mushroom raviolis.
From best French restaurant to best 100 overall restaurant, atmosphere has an impressive collection of awards and "Best of" nominations since its opening in 2002.
No wonder it is rated excellent by Zagat revue and #1 French restaurant in the city.

A favorite restaurant of ours that never disappoints. Happy to do my part to keep them open during these trying times.
With that, there is proper spacing to feel safe and for the pleasant days to come this spring and summer there is outside dining.
This place was a great find. Cozy, unassuming, nice atmosphere with great food. My husband and I really enjoyed spending Valentine’s Day there. Definitely plan to return again.
Wonderful! Will dine here again!
Excellent food, excellent experience! Katie was very informative!
A true French restaurant! service and food were exceptional! we will be back!
As usual, the food was delicious and authentic. We like the cozy atmosphere.
Always excellent, be sure consider their off menu specials.
Always delicious and always a great night!
Great place! Fantastic food great service!! We will be back!
If I could give Atmosphere a 6th star, I would. Fantastic food, great service.
It was my 25th birthday dinner w 6 of my closest girlfriends! I had been many times before but nobody else had. They loved it, definitely impressed, and was thrilled to try something new!
I ordered the Duck Confit, totally worth it. I also tried the chicken and mushroom crepe and I will definitely be ordering that next time!
For the money in the experience you can’t beat this for a good French meal in Atlanta
Excellent service, attentive but not overbearing. Lamb was amazing.
They have heaters for the patio, but the night was too cold for outdoor dining so we were seated in a back alcove very socially distanced from other diners. The service was impeccable and the food was all delicious (especially the bread and butter and the trout special and goat cheese special. This is a wonderful place to go for a Parisian winter meal!
Amazing and authentic French cuisine, very attentive service too.
We came in town for the botanical gardens light show and just loved this french bistro where we had dinner beforehand. Great food and wonderful service. Highly recommend this restaurant.
Perfect evening. Food was delicious and service was on point but unhurried. Server was knowledgeable and friendly. We be back. back.
Always a pleasure
The restaurant is very cozy, a great spot for an intimate occasion. Service was great, the food was good. I would definitely return. They also were good with their Covid Protocols
The Croque Messieurs were outstanding, substantial and very flavorful. As always, the ambience here is intimate, small rooms in what must be a converted house, and light, with plenty of windows. Our server, bilingual and willing to speak to us in either French or English, was attentive and warm. Their menu seems to stand in for both lunch and dinner these days, maybe just during the pandemic, as the main dishes were mostly in the $20-35 range, so am assuming they would be the same at night...still, plenty of more reasonable lunch options available on the menu , such as our huge French ham-n-cheese sandwich with salad and chips at 13 bucks. This place remains a neighborhood gem.
Our favorite place for French cuisine and a nice evening out, very reasonably priced, consistently great food and service.
The food was phenomenal, the setting was gorgeous and we felt so safe. It was the perfect holiday treat!
Lovely place and nice outdoor and indoor dining options.
A warm and cozy atmosphere in which to enjoy excellent food and service. Never disappoints.
The website shows a beautiful room with large windows. We were seated in a small windowless room with a screen, tacky art and a VERY wrinkled tablecloth. Zero atmosphere.
The waitress tried to upsell us on the wine. She said it was in the same price range but was in fact $15 more.
After dinner I wanted dessert but the waitress took so long to come back that I lost interest by the timesheet did.
The food was good but could have been hotter. We will not be going back.
We celebrated my son's 30th birthday. The food was very good, service was not at par. They were very busy and seemed short staffed because someone different would arrive at the table every time. We started with cocktails (but no request for another round). My husband was not drinking, so his water was not refreshed. The lighting was very dim, so you could not read the menu at all. Need a candle at the table.
We all started with appetizers, I had the rabbit pate, which was amazing. My husband had the Octopus salad, which he said was OK. He would have liked the octopus warm vs, cold on the salad, my son had the onion soup, which was good but basic. We shared a large carpaccio for the table which was also good. 3 of us had the lamb because it was recommended as the chef's favorite. It was very good, the sauce was amazing, everyone was asking for more bread to sop up the sauce at the end.
Expresso machine was broken, so had to settle for a cup of coffee at the end with our chocolate b-day cake. No offer for after dinner cocktails.
The ambience was OK, they do keep tables separate which was nice. They also had outdoor seating with heat lamps.
We brought a cake with us, but had to ask multiple times to bring it out with candles.
My husband eat out fine dining often, I would say that the experience was good, and the food was good, but we've also had more amazing meals downtown and midtown than this.
Since we traveled from Alpharetta, it was nice but nothing to write home about. Especially if trying to make a COVID birthday celebration special and intimate for my son and his girlfriend.
This place is fantastic and a must-try! Everything was fantastic, and I left feeling full but ready to come back. Great experience!
We had an incredible experience overall. Great ambiance with dimmed lights and socially distanced seating. We had the beef carpaccio and escargot to start. Scallops for the main meal and paired with a red wine. Our server was very helpful and had a great attitude.
Amid Covid challenges its great that Atmosphere has a great outside patio dining
area with heat lamps to allow diners to enjoy great french food
My girlfriend and I had lunch on gorgeous 60+ day in Atlanta and were treated to
great onion souo, a glass of Prosecco topped off marvelous Chicken crepes [ Crepes
au la la
Beautiful outdoor garden fitted with heaters made eating outside in December very comfortable.
Food and service were flawless making for a lovely much needed evening out.
Have been dining here since they opened many years ago. Congratulations to Christine, Jean-Marc and Julien.
I felt really safe eating on the outside patio. The food is always wonderful and service was excellent. It feel like a save place during the pandemic.
Lunch is very relaxing and in separate private dining rooms - definitely for social distancing.
Felt very comfortable sitting outside 8-10ft between tables and toasty under the heaters. Masked servers were friendly and knowledgeable. Food was excellent; traditional French cuisine with their own signature touches. Everything we ordered was amazing. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend Atmosphere Bistro for that rare pandemic night out!
On a sky blue day where do you have a french meal.............but you are in Atlanta
and not Paris for lunch? You sit outside in the "Atmosphere patio"
Great food and outstanding service !
Our group of 7 sat outside on the patio being Covid-19 conscious. As the evening became cooler, our waiter increased the heater volume and added to the comfort. I especially enjoyed my Salmon, and my wife enjoyed the Lamb. The goat cheese salad was superb! Our out of town guests thoroughly enjoyed the evening. This is a very nice French Restaurant!
We go a couple times a month, so obviously we like it a lot. My wife is French and she likes it. There is a patio area that has heaters that can be used when weather is a bit warmed, the inside dining is comfortable and cozy and with good table separation. The food is excellent and the servers well trained and attentive. We can't go to France, so this place provides a taste of France for us!
Worth a trip.
Service was great with good food flavors! I recommend the place.
