Atlantis Steakhouse - Atlantis Casino Resort Spa
The Atlantis Steak House is top notch for a fine dining experience and making special memories.
I was kinda disappointed with not having a palate cleanser before the main course because I was still able to taste my Caesar Salad.
Beautiful atmosphere, excellent service, and food. I had requested a corner booth, due to some hearing loss, and that is exactly what we were given. Top notch place all the way around!
Best steakhouse in Reno
Wonderful place to bring someone special for their Birthday Dinner. The table setup was perfect.
No place better in Reno.
Great food. Great service. Wonderful ambiance.
Our second time at the Steakhouse. We attended for our anniversary. The staff set the table with rose petals, a very nice touch. Service from Larry and Yvette was exceptional, both were attentive without excessively intruding on our evening. Larry was particularly helpful with a wine choice and advice on proper preparation of my meal choice, buffalo loin. It did not disappoint. I really appreciated the pacing of the meal. I feel most establishments rush through a service anymore so they can clear the table for the next patrons. We were given adequate time to enjoy each service yet did not have to track down Larry for the check at the end. Will definitely make a third visit.
Had steak Diane made at the table. It was great. My other friends had the special bison and salmon. My husband had the filet and it was good as well.
Excellent service and good food. Food items could have been warmer. I think they held our steaks until my husband’s Steak Diane was completed table side. Very private table which was nice. Enjoyable evening.
Great experience. Food was outstanding. Waiters were knowledgeable about all aspects of the menu
Always an amazing experience! We were staying at Peppermill and came to Atlantis specifically to have dinner at the steakhouse. Impeccable attention to detail and service.
The host was very accommodating. I rushed in minutes before 10 and they took us in. We entered as the last diners were leaving.
My foie gras and Steak Diane were excellent
The bad:My martini which was ordered with a twist came back with olives. (Remember that we were the last diners present) Her chopped salad was not a chopped salad. The lettuces were large leaves thus not chopped and was accompanied with steak medallions. It appeared to be their Steak salad but the waiter said it was their chopped salad.
Loved the whole experience. The restaurant closed at 10 and accepted us past 9pm happily. A huge table for just the two of us. A lovely server. Food and drinks were awesome. You can definitely tell why things were worth the expense here. My husband exclaimed it was the best steak he had ever had. And the mushrooms on his plate were absolutely amazing. One of the best dinner experiences.
This was our third visit to the Atlantis Steakhouse this year and have enjoyed it every time. The food was excellent and we did have great service. My only critique is the last time we went, our salads arrived before our cocktails.
It is a wonderful place for a special event. We went there for a friend's birthday and it was very nice. The steakhouse gave him a free baked Alaska cake for his birthday.
The Spa, Tower, and Steak House are our Anniversary treat. I have no idea how many years we have enjoyed thi treat.
My hubby chose this restaurant for my birthday dinner, and it was perfect! The food was wonderful - we loved the varied choices on the menu - and the ambience and service were first-rate. We will definitely return if we're back in Reno for a special occasion!
It began by the restaurant seating us 20 min after our reservation time. We waited another 15 min for our server, Denisa, whom was very rude & Unknowledgeable about the available whiskeys. We then ordered the special, a surf and turf combo. Not only did the food take forever, we were there until well after the restaurant was closed - when the steaks came out finally, they were very overdone & inedible. The server was continually rude through the process. The manager eventually got involved & refunded the meals, but the waste of time, energy & money was quite unimpressive for what is supposed to be considered a fine dining steak house.
The steak was delicious and the dining area is beautifully decorated. Those are the positives. We had a young waiter who meant well but was not very good at his job. Service was saved by a "back-up" waitress (Tina) who was AWESOME. But this still didn't make up for the loud and obnoxious tables of people around us who were either talking/cursing/laughing loudly, playing their own music at their table on their phones, or were openly drunk and had weird interactions with the staff. The $30 abalone appetizer was very disappointing and did not do justice to the delicate product. The cocktails were tasty. Overall, quite disappointing given that we spent more than $250.
This restaurant is definitely top notch. The service from the hostess to the wait staff and management were extremely courteous and went above and beyond to make our experience incredible. Our waiter picked the most delicious wine for me and the food was amazing. I will definitely be back for more!
I've been dining here for a few years and i have had many fantastic meals but in the last year or so, I have to say the quality of their food has declined and I leave feeling less than thrilled about my $300 bill and subpar dining experience.
I had dinner here this past week and was not impressed by my experience.
First off we were sat at a table which was practically in the middle of the entrance walkway and when we asked if there were any booths available they said no which was weird since there were 3-4 booths that sat empty all night.
The last couple times I've dined here and ordered the salmon or shrimp cocktail as appetizers i have gotten sick. The bread basket used to come out hot and fresh. The bread came out 25 min after we sat and was stale and cold.
We ordered the salmon tartar and bacon wrapped scallops as appetizers and both were extremely fishy and tasted bad.
My wedge salad was completely watered down ( not sure why) and Was served in a small bowl that is very difficult to cut food in and all the dressing sat at the bottom and saturated the entire salad.
Our server was nice but wasn't very engaging or knowledgeable about the menu.
We were recommended a fantastic bottle of wine by the sommelier which in my opinion was the best part of our meal. That shouldn't be the highlight of your dinner.
I think the kitchen needs to do some restructuring on quality control. Otherwise they need to adjust their prices. There are a lot better steak houses out there and I will probably spend my money elsewhere until they make some changes.
The restaurant has a very nice & inviting ambiance. The staff was very friendly and made me feel welcome and comfortable.
The food was delicious. My only critique is that my filet mignon was a little over cooked. My order was medium - rare (with goal to be a pink middle) however it was definitely well done. My steak was of course still enjoyable and I will look forward to future visits to the restaurant.
Our server was very professional and attentive to our needs. All of the staff that served us were professional and courteous. Thank you for this fine dining experience!
Always an amazing dining experience. Excellent service and food from start to finish. Great quality and attention to detail.
Everything was superb! The service was impeccable, food divine...A+ start to finish! Their portions are generous and over the top. The Oyster Rockefeller were probably the best I've ever had. Rich, but light - truly scrumptious. The lobster bisque, delicious but very rich - we split the soup and it was more than enough for 2. I had the NY strip - perfectly cooked medium rare. My guest had the filet mignon & alaskan king crab - she said it was sublime. She ordered cocktails while I ordered a 1/2 bottle of cabernet. Great drink options & wine list. It was her birthday so they brought out a baked Alaska at the end! It was so fun - the flames & the grandeur of it. I had coffee afterwards - it came with a fun over the top set up! And to top it off, they sent us on our way with a small cake that was delicious with coffee the next morning! Timothy, our waiter, and the young man who helped him throughout the evening (I so wish I could remember his name to give him a shout out) - were exceptional!! It was truly a dining experience to rival anything I've experienced in SF, Las Vegas or NYC. If you're looking for a truly exceptional dining experience, you can't go wrong here.
Great service and great food. Very attractive waiting room and dining area.
30th Anniversary dinner, wanted it to be classy and high quality. Looking for above average in all categories. Service was solid. Ambiance was fine with the exception of the at table cooking which we felt was intrusive especially with the over warm big flames they all seemed to enjoy creating. To get to the brass tax, 1 glass of wine, 2 soups (French Onion, way to salty) , 1 shared wedge salad (very watery blue cheese dressing), Lamb Chops (cooked right, flavorles) Filet (cooked right, quite bland) and 2 sides (both lacking flavor)...$185.00 before tip. The kicker? The only trulymemorable bite came from chocolate/raspberry candy provided at the end of our meal.
I give the Atlantis Steakhouse 5 stars across the board. They put effort into everything and it shows. I look forward to the next time.
The food was beyond our expectations and I will definitely be back. We celebrated for my friend's bachelorette party and she was so happy with everything. And thank you for the rose petals on the table, that was a nice touch.
We live locally and eat here at least once a month and sometimes more often. We have never been disappointed with the food nor the service. The wait staff are excellent and very attentive. The food is always top notch. We highly recommend it.
Service was excellent, better than I would thought it would be, very professional.
Although the ambience and service was excellent, the food was disappointing.
Soup of the day was so spicy it was not edible (confirmed by two ).
Rack of lamb was chewy to the point not enjoyable. Side of mashed potatoes bland.
Coffee cake gift on departure was delicious
Food was very outstanding service was the best you could dream of could not picture a better place to have a birthday and for any staff that might read this thank you guys very much for a very special evening I will recommend us to everybody I know
Lobster tail was huge but too salty almost inedible. Steak and sides cooked perfectly as always. Great service as always.
Service and ambiance were excellent. The dining room got a little noisy as more diners arrived but noise level remained still very tolerable. The chef treated each of us with an ahi tartar in pastry shell canapé. We shared an order of oysters Rockefeller for an appetizer. For entrées we had New York strip loin au poivre, and filet mignon Oscar style. Both our meals were accompanied with roasted garlic, (a real treat), sautéed button mushrooms and a dollop of mashed potatoes. We both needed to ask for more brandy and Bernaise sauces. Because the peppercorns in the au poivre were whole rather than coarsely-crushed, and the amount of crab in the Oscar style accompaniment a bit scarce, we ranked our meals 4 instead of 5 stars. It was a nice touch that we were presented with a complimentary birthday dessert.
Have lived in Reno 10 years and this was the best food, best service, best atmosphere, most comfortable place we have been to.
We will be passing our experience on to friends for them to enjoy.
My wife and I were looking forward to going. Ended up very disappointed. The service and ambiance was very nice. We had the cheese platter as an appetizer. Cheese was good but not enough little pieces of bread to go with the cheese. Its like they were being cheap. The soup was corn chowder. Very good. My wife's salad was poor. She did not finish it, She got two lobster tails. The potatoes were so watery she could not eat them. The lobsters were not that great. Just OK. I got the New York steak and a double stuffed potato. The potato was poor. I did not finish it. The steak was just OK. I have had much better. Overall very disappointing
Everything was delicious and the staff was great. The scallops were heavenly (see pic) and we even got a bulb of roasted garlic with our meal! Presentation was great too - all the way down to the birthday gelato (see pic). We even got some coffee cake for our morning coffee the next day.
I'm new to the area and had been looking for a great steakhouse. Unfortunately, I was not impressed with the experience I had here. I was looking forward to the steak but I couldn't order because of the portion size. I usually order a 4oz steak. I'm a light eater and was very disappointed when I asked my waiter if this was an option and he said No, only 8oz. I did try my husbands's dish .. his steak was done medium and I wasn't happy with it. It was very dry. I had the Scallops and they were good. Overall, the ambiance is a mix of well dressed and people in sweats and shorts.
They were so great there. Little pricey but delicious food. And they went out of their way for our anniversary.
The lobster bisque is the best in town. Service was great. Very attentive without hovering over you.
