Birthday dinner. 22 ounce rib eye, aged 28 days, was done rare as requested and not one bit over done. Service was top notch and friendly. Bit expensive, but you get what you pay for and was definitely worth it. Will go again in a heartbeat.

This is the place of legends. Incredible meal, wonderful service, great wine and cocktails. We drove 70 miles to get here and it was well worth the drive and we can't wait to do it again. It's actually hard to find on the second floor of the Atlantis Hotel, tucked away in a quiet corner. The filets were the best steaks we have ever had. Sometimes consumer ratings are not to be trusted. You can trust the solid 5 star ratings for this one.

Loved the service and food. Well worth the cost. However, I had to remove myself from my table (thankfully, dinner was over) because the maitre d had 2 burners going cooking shrimp for the table across from mine. I'm allergic to shrimp so the shrimpy oily was airborne and I was very uncomfortable and had to leave the table.
That's my only complaint, seems like I was at Ichiban all over again. Last thing I want to happen is come out of a 5 star restaurant smelling like food.

Very nice, casual elegance restruaunt. The food issue was the lobster. I did not have a choice on how it was prepared. I enjoy broiled, the lobster was poached in butter, resulting in a very chewy, rubbery lobster. I did not complain to our waiter, as to not ruin the moment with my wife of 45 years; the special occasion. We are locals and appriciate fine restruants.

The foodvwas good, but the fire alarm went off and stayed on for over 20 minutes, ruining the ambiance. The waiter apologized, but nobody else said or did anything to make up for the annoyance.

We came to this restaurant last year for our anniversary and enjoyed it so much that we decided to return. The wait staff are all very friendly and appear to be very well trained. The food arrived at our table piping hot, was delicious, and one plate would have been more than enough for the two of us. The prime rib melted in our mouths and was very flavorful, as were the mashed potatoes and asparagus. We will definitely return on our next trip to Reno.

Great Atmosphere. Great Service. My food was very good but two others in my partner had their steaks either under cooked or over cooked.

Everything was great except for the drunk lady at the table next to us who was taking away from our experience when our guy came over to prepare my tableside Steak Diane. She wouldn't quit talking to him, therefore making it impossible for him to put his full attention on what he was doing and to actually talk to us. Nothing against him. He was being nice to the drunk lady. The meal was fabulous anyway.

I had to prove to my wife how tender the fillet was by cutting it with my fork! The food and service was outstanding as usual! Always my first choice for the best steaks in Reno!

Pros:
Good service (Timothy, their bartender, and Chase were GREAT). Happy employees, clean, and nice bar area.
Cons:
When a business takes the time to describe the cooking doneness on their menus...They really should be able to cook it that way...I mean I know I only spent $500.00 for a dinner for two but...I have had a SUPERIOR steak at Ruth's Chirs steak house for far less than the $80.00 I spent at the Atlantis Steakhouse on an OVER COOKED dry steak. Save your money and go to the Bistro Napa at the Atlantis OR even the buffet!...WE LOVE Kemal and the Bistro Napa!

Twice per year we come there for the World Wide Distributors trade show and have been for many years. Each trip we have dinner at The Steak House but that will not happen again. You're prices have gone from high to ridiculous. No matter how nice the ambiance, nor how great the service, in the end people dine out for the food and there is nothing you can do to a cow or the meat that comes from it to justify your prices.

I have some expertise in the subject of beef and at some point there is nothing more you can do. I know about 28 day aging, I know about dry aging, I know about grass fed verses other feeding plans and you have simply exceeded by far the limits of what a piece of meat can be worth.

This was my second visit to Atlantis Steakhouse and both times they came through with a great experience. First time was a romantic meal with my girlfriend and this last time was a get together Super Bowl weekend with friends. My review is essentially the same for both times. Excellent service & excellent meals. The first time I ordered meat, the second time I ordered the twin lobster tails. There's not much more I can say other than I highly recommend

Elegant dinning but with a friendly staff who make you feel comfortable at all times. The price is high but the food and service are worth the cost if you have the means. Some of the best dinning you will experience anywhere.

For a special occasion we always look to the Atlantis Steakhouse as our meal destination. We seldom have a steak and this restaurant knows how to prepare a fillet mignon or rib eye to perfection. They say that presentation is everything, and if this is the case then the steakhouse excels. Waiters are attentive but not intrusive and the busboy was excellent.
The bar mixes a perfect French 75 and serves up the best martini in the entire casino (the other bars couldn't even come close, don't bother). I would highly recommend this restaurant, but come prepared to pay for the experience. That said, it was definitely value for money spent!
