Atlantis Steakhouse - Atlantis Casino Resort Spa
We had a wonderful time at the Atlantis. Their service is impeccable. Food is always 5 star . Atlantis is the only hotel we use now. Been to most of the other hotels over the years but Reno has changed dramatically. Atlantis in our opinion is 5 star on everything and we will only book our stays there. Thank you Atlantis.

Top Notch dining experience. The wait staff was fun and personable, which made the whole night more enjoyable.
We have been dreaming of this date since we met. Six years later, we finally made it happen and it was everything we wanted! Beautiful, elegant, delicious, and wonderful service.
The service was exceedingly slow, waiter was not very responsive. The side dishes and vegetables were well below par. The steak and main dishes were OK but given the price, should have been excellent. It took 2-1/2 hours for dinner, and that was without appetizers.
Outstanding food and service. Alain and Christina were very attentive and friendly as well as professional and efficient. One of the best lobster tails I’ve ever had and my husband’s steak was cooked perfectly.
Ambiance was lovely. Server knowledgeable. Way over priced. Server brought my husband the wrong entree but we didn’t want to waste it. $40 for prime rib which is what he order..or $60 for filet accidentally brought instead. Well the server apologized but didn’t correct the bill or make any complimentary actions. Lobster bisque way too salty, truffle Mac and cheese way too salty. Neapolitan gelato tastes like freezer burn. Wouldn’t return.
The service and food was excellent. The assistance server had a great sense of humor with great recommendations.
I brought my boyfriend here for his birthday and we were both wowed by both the food and the service. We were worried about feeling out of place because it was a "fancy" restaurant, and while it is a classier experience than some of the other restaurants in the hotel the service goes out of their way to make you feel at home. My boyfriend has a mushroom allergy that he is not used to being accommodated. When our server brought our menus she asked if there were any allergies at the table and then proceeded to assure us throughout the night that there were no mushrooms of any kind in any of the dishes we were ordering. Then, toward the end of the meal, she informed us that she had arranged for a surprise for my boyfriend for his birthday and brought out a complimentary slice of gelato cake. The food, and the experience, were amazing and despite the bill being more than I had budgeted for (due to our appetites, not unfair pricing) we both agreed that it was worth every penny. I will be dreaming about that steak and lobster for weeks and months to come. We will surely be coming back in the future if we ever find ourselves in Reno.
Second time dining at the Atlantis Steakhouse. Staff was most accommodating, considering one guest has a sever medical allergy. Food quality is excellent and consistent with last visit. I would certainly recommend if able to request to have curtain booth for two for more intimate dining. Bacon wrapped scallops, white truffle macaroni and cheese, Artisan cheese tray amazing. We enjoyed a bottle a JJ Prum's Auslese with dinner, and probably the best wine we had in several years. Entrees were cooked to perfection, leftovers came home and were just as delicious the next day.
Way too slow. It took almost 2 hours to get our main course. Hardly any dressing on the salad. Good food but not worth the price.
The atmosphere and service are very good. I ordered steak Diane because it is a favorite of mine. I must have been served end pieces of the filet because it had gristle and fatty pieces. The mashed potatoes were cold. It was definitely not worth the money. I was able to eat only a small part of my dinner. Very disappointing meal. My husband’s filet was over cooked. We are locals and had enjoyed nice meals at the steakhouse, but are not likely to return.
Food was well prepared. I had salmon and my husband had the prime rib. Service was outstanding! Thanks for a nice evening. I had a very nice birthday.
First time here great we love it. Will be coming back very soon
We were celebrating both our birthdays and could not have had a better evening (January 19). The service (Alain and Jordan) was very well done, not hovering, but attentive to needs. My NY steak was cooked perfectly and very large, best I can remember being served. We will return. Anyone reading this should give it a try, you won’t be disappointed!!
After all the hype I decided to bring my family here to celebrate my birthday. As a chef and dedicated steak lover, I was disappointed. The service was the most disappointing, but the food was not up to par either. For the amount of money they’re charging, both the service and food should be better. Granted, I was here on a very busy Saturday evening and there were several large parties; we were seated in the very back of the back section, so the ambiance could’ve been better, but the restaurant is well decorated and comfortable. The duo assigned to our table were competent but not knowledgeable. There were a couple of food allergies at the table which were completely ignored and the recommendations were not in mine with my palate at all. The bleu cheese topped filet was way too overpowering. The twice baked potato was half of a potato and the season was too bland. After telling the server of my gluten allergy, she recommended the Mac & Cheese... which I am unable to eat. My mother has a horseradish allergy and the amuse bouche was a shrimp cocktail loaded with horseradish.
Crazy to pay that much for lackluster service and food. We will not be returning and I will share my experience with others.
I loved the personal attention my husband and I received. It was my birthday and we were treated royally. I ordered Steak Diane - it was exquisite in both preparation at the table and taste. This is a meal I would highly recommend. The ambience, the staff, the food all deserve A-one ratings. I was even treated to a lovely dessert on a "happy birthday" plate. Thank you for making me feel special.
Kiley was the best! We had a great night and her attentiveness to our group made it extra special! Thank you!
Everything was up to my expectations with the exception of needing to send my filet back twice due to it being extremely rare originally and after the first go-back.
We love the Atlantis Steakhouse! Everything is always perfect down to the smallest detail and they’re always getting better. Best fine dining experience in Reno!
Service was slow although friendly
Seafood cocktail was a thorough dissappointment. ZERO taste and ice cold.
Tania and Jake served us and they were great! I dined with my grandson after a day at the SCI Convention. We are both well traveled, and he said that our meal at the Atlantis Steakhouse was extremely wonderful. The convention was one of his Christmas gifts as he is the only hunter out of my five grandsons. We made amazing memories and our Atlantis dinner was second only to the Convention itself!!!!!!!
The service was great! The filets were good. Nice presentation of food. Especially the oysters . The scallops were the most gritty ones I have ever had.
Very upscale and pricey but an awesome experience!
Had a Bison Tomahawk and it was great, the wilted spinach salad prepared at the table was outstanding!!
Great food, our favourite restaurant in Reno this is our 5th time and it was awesome.
Very nice restaurant, great food and great staff, they pay attention to detail and make you feel special. Overally a grade of A-+.
as usual the food was superb.
Our female server (Tania) seemed overwhelmed with her tables.
She was slow on the wine and forgot to give us the Coffee Cake with our take home bag.
The backserver was excellent and made the evening a success.
Always have a good experience when we go. Amazing food and service
I went there for dinner on New Years Eve. There were 4 people in my party. Karissa and Bradley helped us. We were also assisted by a very nice gentleman w wine suggestions and table side cooking (alas, I can’t remember his name). Even though the restaurant was very crowded because of the holiday, the service, food and atmosphere was incredible! An amazing evening!!
Food was good, bus lady was very good. Our waiter was horrible. He asked how our food was and walked off before we could answer. This was pretty much the attention he gave us the entire night. We had a plate dropped and broken near us and a piece flew into my wine glass. The staff was very nice and brought us a new bottle of wine. (We actually had brought this bottle). Most likely not a representation of the entire restaurant or wait staff but would go to a few other steak houses before visiting this one again.
Great experience on New Years Eve. Wonderful Staff and as always, incredible food. Larry and John took great care of us that evening to insure everything was to our satisfaction. Larry recommended a wonderful Wine to accompany our meal that is only available at the Atlantis Steakhouse. This will always be our number one destination for a Special Night out in Reno.
Our favorite Steak House in Reno~ always first choice for special occasions and New Years!!
Gorgeous setting and world-class service. The food and specialty cocktails are pf highest quality and prepared to perfection. Our anniversary celebration was greatly enhanced by Server Alain and his assistant, and the wine was especially wonderful, thanks to selection of Sommelier Christian. Atlantis Steakhouse is always our first choice for a very special and memorable occasion.
Restaurant was busy. Entree arrived wo sauce, was returned w au poivre sauce hastily prepared w unmelded acrid taste and steak had toughened while waiting. Coffee refills were cold from pot that had been sitting unheated. Sommelier was excellent.
Great Fine Dining
Went on a Saturday night and was greeted so warming and welcoming and that set the tone for a wonderful dining experience. First class food and drink presented with outstanding and knowledgeable service.
Wine selection was good, even by the glass. The menu is diverse and they specialize in steaks and we had the filet. Both steaks were cooked to perfection and were on the generous size of 8 ounce size. An excellent house salad or soup comes with it and we also each had a starter and it was too much food - mostly because of the wonderful basket of warm dinner roles that is included! Dessert was a flambe'd bananas Foster that just capped off the night perfectly.
In addition to the great food and service, we enjoyed the beautiful and relaxing environment of the restaurant itself. It seemed far away from the noise and smoke of the casino one floor below. The level of customer service was excellent and everyone that worked there genuinely seemed happy to be there and we enjoyed the interaction.
My advice is to make this a special occasion place when you really want to treat yourself to a grown-up leisurely dining experience. Leave the kids at home, turn your phone off and enjoy the meal and good conversation in a warm comfortable setting.
We eat here every year around the holidays. The food was outstanding as usual. We had exceptional service on this visit. Our waiter Alan and his helper Tina were amazing. They did not rush us through dinner and let it be a relaxing experience. Tina made us feel so welcome, and we didn't want for anything. It's always good when we can see Christian as well. He is always there to recommend a great wine to go with our meal in all of the restaurants on the property.
A great anniversary dinner! Food and service were over the top as always.
We spent our small family early Christmas Eve dinner with you for the first time. We have been to several others and usually always went to the Nugget in Sparks when it was John's. When he sold it we just didn't go there anymore. We'd been going there since we were children. So I am happy to say I think we found our new Steakhouse. The staff was amazing as was our dinner. Thank you.
Went for our anniversary and our experience more than exceeded expectations. Our experience was amazing, the food was great but the service is what really set the Atlantis Steakhouse apart from everywhere else.
This is a nice place to enjoy. Steaks were a little under-cooked for our tastes but we did not send anything back. Note that the larger the steak, it appears the smaller the sides are. For example my T-bone came with about one heaping teaspoon of mashed potatoes (not kidding), about a tablespoon of mushrooms, and half of a roasted garlic clove that I did not know if it was to be eaten or not. "House" wine is $20 a glass! So be careful there.
