Atlantica at the Allegria

Post Valentines dinner. Valentines Day was a work day and I get out of work to late so we decided to go out the next day. The place quite. Not many people. The food was good but my food was a little burnt but still tasty. Service was great. Definitely worth it
The limited menu options on a night that did not specify only had a prix fix menu. Also some menu choices were no longer available at an 8:00 reservation. Food was nothing spectacular. Was expecting better.
Went to the Atlantica on Valentine’s Day, so a price fix menu of $65. The room was very nicely setup for Valentine’s Day, and the hotel overlooks the boardwalk and ocean, so the setting is very nice.
The service was so bad it became humorous. The restaurant really wasn’t that crowded (we now know why) and it took about 15 minutes to take a drink order and another 15 to take dinner order. It became a game watching the server come out of the kitchen with plates and ask almost every table of the dish was theirs. This continued all evening. The appetizer did not taste right. The pasta dish did not belong on that menu and would have been a mediocre option at a diner and they didn’t tell us until after we had ordered desert and waited 30 minutes more to get it that they were out of it. The chocolate desert, one of just 3 options, on Valentine’s Day. Yes, likely the worst ever v-day dinner and among the worst meals I have had in a long time.
Valentine’s Day dinner.
Very good. Nice environment for Valentine’s Day. It was very nice
First time at Atlantica was for a Sunday Brunch for my birthday. We enjoyed it very much but would come at 12 next time. Food at 11 was not hot and overall we preferred the breakfast foods. Mimosas included but $4 for Bloody Mary.
The food was not the best, they should add other selections to their menu.
Despite the fact that there was only one other table being served, we waited 30 mins for our lunch & had to hunt him down or ask the busboy when we needed something. My salad was so overdressed it was soggy & unappealing. The shrimp, however, were extremely fresh & my friend really enjoyed the short rib burger.
Had a wonderful Christmas dinner there. Food was outstanding ! Godiva creme brulee was amaaaaaazing. Service was perfect. Will definitely go back!
Food really disappointed us. It’s a great place to have a drink looking at the ocean but I would not recommend eating here.
My good friends and I celebrated our early Sunday Christmas Brunch. The staff was exceptionally attentive. The Sunday Brunch was a nice selection. Mimosas were delicious. It is on the Long Beach Boardwalk with a nice view of the beach/ocean watching surfers.
Love this place. It's my second time here. However I was a little disappointed that the food selection was the same as when I went there a month ago. I hope the selection changes to offer different options in the future because I do plan to come back.
nice place to eat by the ocean off season, the fish tacos were bland,
service was good
It was very nice
We enjoyed our Thanksgiving dinner, however, I wished there were more choices in meat as well as vegetables. The price point should be no more than $45.00 per person for what was presented.
Our favorite Sunday brunch spot ! Great food and the best service
It was great to be there on a Fall afternoon. Not crowded at all. Can't imagine what it's like in the Summer.
Service and food were great. Eclectic and unusual menu offerings.
Our server Ren, as always, was phenomenal!! Thank you for 5 star service 😄
Very quiet during Tuesday lunch. Everything was very satisfying. Empanadas, crab sliders, salad with grilled salmon, burgers & Fries. Everything was good, and the ocean-view was beautiful.
Our 40 th Wedding Anniversary
Great food, nice ambiance, service was fantastic but it was a Monday night and dead so I wouldn’t expect anything less. Pricing was slightly overpriced but the food was delish so I can’t complain too much.
This was my first dining visit. Service was great, food delish, drinks yummy and dessert was a tease. My date and I enjoy everything and look forward to our next visit.
Our 11th Anniversary Everything was great except for the limited menu & wine list. Also there were no side dishes offered on the menu at all. I later asked our wonderful waitress & she said for an extra $ there is. But it’s not on the menu, You have to ask.
Service was fantastic. Renato was great. Very nice. Friendly and very accommodating. The food was not worth the $50 per person. Not a big enough variety for brunch.
Chimese General Tsao was good but it didn’t come with rice.
VERY NICE CALMING EXPERIENCE BY THE BOARDWALK. GOOD SELECTION OF FOOD OPTIONS.
Always bring my out of town guests here to eat by sea!
Excellent place to get together with friends...very modern open and clean. Nice view of the ocean.
Food was very disappointing however the waitress we had was wonderful
Menu was mostly fish with no options for sides. Ordered the Presseco poached shrimp and they tasted as if they were just defrosted out of the freezer. Greek salad was great but mostly tomatoes and onions with little lettuce. The filet was phenomenal but the side was a strange “sweet pea and carrot tort” (basically mashed potatoes with peas and diced carrots). Disappointed with the side as the didn’t offer any other options. Ordered a coke and it was delivered to the table flat. Coffee and ice cream were great however, the single espresso was more like half of a single espresso. Atmosphere and the view is usually why people go: not for the food.
Very disappointing. Waitress took our order for drinks and apps. We waited and waited for the drinks and they didn’t show up until after the appetizers were at my table. I enjoy a cocktail like most people before eating when going out
The menu was not creative and has no specials. The drinks were watered down. This was a theme at the entire hotel
Won’t see me back there again.
I liked the ambiance, but my food was cold, too salty, too expensive, and weird choice for plating. I hope to see different and better food options. The service was great and the staff was very professional.
Great location and beautiful views. The food was very good, especially liked the cheese plate appetizer and the salmon. A lively bar with a few outdoor tables off the ocean boardwalk, and the service was very good too. Free valet parking for 3 hrs with dinner- make sure to get ticket stamped and you’ll have time for a seaside walk on the beach or boardwalk after dinner
Dress code -people in shorts, flip-flops,
no bread and butter served,
the worst file mignon ever--small peace over fried/burnt, lamb ribs in a puddle of thin mashed potato, but it is overpriced -$ 30 !
empanadas served at the end ( appetizer!) very dry-.
We remember -2 years ago it was different--new Metre d'otel -food presentation and quality was very different, now-could not recommend my friend this place, sorry Irina Y.
Slow service. Noisy. Mediocre food.
I have always loved the location of this hotel. The brunch is an added advantage to spending a day at the beach!
I have noticed, however, that the brunch choices have become more limited over the last few years. The brunch display used to include more dishes. And I expected more choices for the $50 that each of us spent.
In any case, my friends thought it was wonderful and that made me happy!
I encouraged them to consider Atlantica for their future functions since I have recommended this spot in the past to friends who were very pleased with your service.
I still think you have the best location and view on Long Beach!
This place could be so much better! Service was good, but the food and quality was mediocre. Utterly forgettable. We won’t be back. Too bad.
Another amazing trip to the Allegria hotel for lunch, great way to beat the heat and stay right on the beach!
Had the banana pancake for breakfast and it was to die for!!! Service was fantastic, very fast. Had a great experience at the Atlantica
the food was only fair, the table service was almost non existent, to get a beverage someone from our table had to go from the restaurant to the bar. We had to ask for silverware, napkins, water etc. We were extremely disappointed.
The restaurant temperature was a bit too warm for comfort.
