Fun & upbeat the host is amazing but service is slow & drags! The staff is young & it’s not there fault maybe just need better training & food is basic & could be more creative but over all pretty basic & with the bad service just makes it worse! I would go back cause of the location & view but I would just have drinks & few apps!
Lovely ambience, food was very good
Another wonderful brunch!
Delightful spot right on the boardwalk overlooking the ocean.
Beautiful place, great views. I had a lobster roll that was pretty good. Plenty of lobster but it sat atop a burnt roll that you could not pick up and eat because it wasn't cut all the way through. But I don't usually eat the bread anyway. My friend had blackened mahi sandwich which wasn't bad (but also on a burnt roll). The fries were okay but you really come here for the ambiance and that is great. We shared a banana creme brulee that was very good and a very big portion. Tea was lukewarm, sadly.
The food was excellent! They had a nice variety of different types of food. The omelet station was great as was the beef! The apple pancakes were delicious as was all of the deserts and coffee. And of course the bottomless mimosas were great.
I put a 4 for service because although the service was pretty good, it was a little chaotic. Including that Open Table notified me that I had not used my reservation, which I did.
The view was just beautiful.
Beautiful setting, decent food, poor service
great as always !!!!
perfect for brunch with friends than off to the beach!!
Excellent food and excellent location as usual! Service was a bit non-existent.
Reservations require a credit card yet the place doesn’t stick to a tine when they can seat you. Mike the bartender is sweating all over your drinks. You will wait for everything even water. The place is run like as if it had no management. The manager is outside smoking cigarettes in front of the hotel while food and service is failing inside. For a hotel the food is below average for Long Beach. I will never eat there again. I suggest you reconsider too.
Terrible service. The place was not busy but we had to wait 35 minutes before getting coffee. Food was poor. Asked for multigrain toast , and I received white toast , with an excuse that no more multigrain bread was left. Was not given an option. Would not recommend. Overpriced
The buffet option was very limited, there was almost nothing available when we got there. The fruit was all gone, no bread, no butter, how can you not offer toast and butter for brunch? Not worth the price.
We went to lunch to enjoy the food and eat some seafood in a beautiful beachfront location. The view was great and we had a table next to the window and facing the boardwalk and beach. The food was very mediocre. We started with shishito peppers that were undercooked and then both had lobster rolls. The lobster rolls lacked flavor and were just not good. The rolls were not split so the lobster was left sitting precariously on top. It made it a bit of an adventure to get the food in your mouth versus on your lap. So the recommendation would be to go for drinks and the view. The food was pretty bad and the service was mediocre although our waiter was a nice guy and certainly tried.
Background music too loud, difficult to hold a conversation. Overpriced for what was no more than a substandard buffet. Atmosphere was great, view of the boardwalk and ocean was breathtaking. My recommendation, skip the buffet, have a drink at the bar, take a walk on the boardwalk, keep your wallet in your pocket.

Although the ambiance and location of the restaurant is a big plus, you aren't getting anything special for your money for brunch. The restaurant is poorly set up starting with the hostess station being in an obscure location away from the stairs, elevator and entrance doors. The bathrooms are not family friendly, the men's bathroom is on another floor and I did not see handicap access directly to/from the boardwalk. The restaurant is poorly managed starting with no menus for brunch, just a word-of-mouth of some of the items available to you as your server remembers to tell you about them. The food in the steam trays were not hot, and there were no serving utensils out for the dessert table except for the cakes. Although the cupcakes are hand-sized, and the macrons are finger-sized, I do not want to pick them up with my fingers until it is time for me to eat them and I don't want others to either! Where is the health department when you need them? Back to the food. The coffee could put hair on your chest (and I like strong coffee). The omelet station; best thing there if the chef could get your order right. The lunch portion of the brunch did provide a bit of variety with salmon, steak, fried chicken, asian chicken, and if your waiter remembered to tell you about the cold bar, shrimp, clams and oysters. Is something wrong with that you ask? No! Something is missing from that! There were no starches or warm vegetables to eat them with; no rice, pasta, noodles, mashed potatoes, polenta, rolls, brussel sprouts, broccoli, zucchini, or even string beans anywhere. Take your pick... I would have been happy with just one of them. I ended up stealing some homefries from the breakfast section to eat them with. Let's not mention the salad bar... which was more like two already mixed salads in family-sized bowls for the taking. Overall, The Atlantica will not see me ever again, unless I'm walking past it on the boardwalk. At least the staff was courteous.
Great business brunch here on a weekday morning. Coffee was tasty and hot. Food was delicious. View of the beach was excellent and the servers allowed us to stay and talk.
First time there. Beautiful view and atmosphere. Food was delicious and generous portions. Crab cake sliders were outstanding.
It was very good!!
Great place and great food .
Of course I would recommend this place and app to friends .
Thank you so much
This place is quite posh! The ambiance, all glass and ocean, can't be beat. It's right on the Long Beach boardwalk and truthfully, I could have been eating wood and I would have loved the restaurant. The hotel which it is part of is really elegant.
Brunch was not worth the price. Selection minimal for the amount you pay and the quality is average at best. If I ever return it’ll be just for drinks because the only good thing about Atlantica is the ambiance.
Lunch menu diverse and affordable. We shared a generous and delicious salad app. Main was tuna tartar with greens and a delicious dressing. Another main was linguini and clams, again delicious and generous helping. The interior is beautiful and the water view is outstanding. It is one of my favorite places, especially for a special occasion.
I would not come back for this brunch. Food was just OK, nothing special and the noise level was out of control. Lot's of very loud people who come for the bottomles mimosas, cheap bloody mary's and abundance of mediocre food!
I have been to the Atlantica before for both dinner and lunch and would continue to come back for those meals. The room is beautiful and the view of the ocean is special. I would not come back for buffet brunch, sorry!
Post Valentines dinner. Valentines Day was a work day and I get out of work to late so we decided to go out the next day. The place quite. Not many people. The food was good but my food was a little burnt but still tasty. Service was great. Definitely worth it
The limited menu options on a night that did not specify only had a prix fix menu. Also some menu choices were no longer available at an 8:00 reservation. Food was nothing spectacular. Was expecting better.
Went to the Atlantica on Valentine’s Day, so a price fix menu of $65. The room was very nicely setup for Valentine’s Day, and the hotel overlooks the boardwalk and ocean, so the setting is very nice.
The service was so bad it became humorous. The restaurant really wasn’t that crowded (we now know why) and it took about 15 minutes to take a drink order and another 15 to take dinner order. It became a game watching the server come out of the kitchen with plates and ask almost every table of the dish was theirs. This continued all evening. The appetizer did not taste right. The pasta dish did not belong on that menu and would have been a mediocre option at a diner and they didn’t tell us until after we had ordered desert and waited 30 minutes more to get it that they were out of it. The chocolate desert, one of just 3 options, on Valentine’s Day. Yes, likely the worst ever v-day dinner and among the worst meals I have had in a long time.
Valentine’s Day dinner.
Very good. Nice environment for Valentine’s Day. It was very nice
First time at Atlantica was for a Sunday Brunch for my birthday. We enjoyed it very much but would come at 12 next time. Food at 11 was not hot and overall we preferred the breakfast foods. Mimosas included but $4 for Bloody Mary.
The food was not the best, they should add other selections to their menu.
Despite the fact that there was only one other table being served, we waited 30 mins for our lunch & had to hunt him down or ask the busboy when we needed something. My salad was so overdressed it was soggy & unappealing. The shrimp, however, were extremely fresh & my friend really enjoyed the short rib burger.
Had a wonderful Christmas dinner there. Food was outstanding ! Godiva creme brulee was amaaaaaazing. Service was perfect. Will definitely go back!
Food really disappointed us. It’s a great place to have a drink looking at the ocean but I would not recommend eating here.
My good friends and I celebrated our early Sunday Christmas Brunch. The staff was exceptionally attentive. The Sunday Brunch was a nice selection. Mimosas were delicious. It is on the Long Beach Boardwalk with a nice view of the beach/ocean watching surfers.
Love this place. It's my second time here. However I was a little disappointed that the food selection was the same as when I went there a month ago. I hope the selection changes to offer different options in the future because I do plan to come back.
nice place to eat by the ocean off season, the fish tacos were bland,
service was good
It was very nice
We enjoyed our Thanksgiving dinner, however, I wished there were more choices in meat as well as vegetables. The price point should be no more than $45.00 per person for what was presented.
Our favorite Sunday brunch spot ! Great food and the best service
It was great to be there on a Fall afternoon. Not crowded at all. Can't imagine what it's like in the Summer.
Service and food were great. Eclectic and unusual menu offerings.
Our server Ren, as always, was phenomenal!! Thank you for 5 star service 😄
