Atlantic Seafood Company Ratings and Reviews
We had an outstanding dinner the night before at a different restaurant while celebrating our anniversary. Everyone there wished us a happy anniversary, made us feel so special, they gave us a free dessert and 2 glasses of champagne. It was wonderful. We thought we were going to have plans on our actual anniversary (this day) and they fell through so we thought we would go to Atlantic seafood company, after all, we love the soy-honey sea bass. I booked on open table, said it was our anniversary, and yet not one person mentioned it there, it was a very anticlimatic night. The sea bass was excellent, but they again raised the price to 37.00 so 2 entries, a glass of wine and a beer and the bill was 98.00, without tip. The night before 2 entries (salmon, fish) two beers and the bill was only 57.00. It wasn't the cost of the meal, it was the special feeling we got at the other place. I don't think we're going to go back to ASC, it used to be one of our favorite restaurants, it's just not a "fun" place for us anymore.
food was excellent as always.
noise level is high, hard finishes in the room
note on handicapped access: The rotating front door is not handicapped friendly. There are two regular doors on the sides, but signs say don't use them because opening them puts a draft
on people seated just inside the door. So a handicapped person using the side doors gets dirty
Cod Fish and Chips was great - tasty and fresh! Our waitress said substituted the 2 sides we preferred - Jasmine Rice and Broccoli fit our diet better than the spicy coleslaw and french fried, so we appreciate this greatly! And we'll be back soon! For a vegan selectively eating fish Atlantic Seafood Co. is a great choice, and lots of sushi, miso soup and beautifully served choices.
Atlantic Seafood Co. is one of my new favorite spots for seafood and sushi! Came for a dinner date with hubby and were able to make last minute reservations for 4pm.
When you come at 5p for dinner, valet may not be there, but they come at 4pm, and it's complimentary.
From the time you walk in the ambiance is everything to get you in the mood.
We were seated by a nice young lady, and shortly after Zach our waiter greeted us. When you go here, adk for Zach: He's been with ASC for 5+ years, very knowledgeable of the menu and he use to be a customer prior to working here, so his passion for the food translates into his exceptional customer service.
Now the food was just SIMPLY AMAZING!!!!!
We had a dozen raw oysters, some AMAZING Miso Soup along with some of their most popular sushi rolls. I can't remember the names of them all but they were to Die For!!
This restaurant is EVERYTHING and I will visit again for a dinner date or a special occasion because they have 2 private dining rooms.
Wife & I first visited ASC 10+ years ago and loved it then. We returned tonight to celebrate her birthday and they didn't disappoint. Our server, John, was great - attentive, but not intrusive - very easygoing and helpful. The food and wine were incredible.
My wife and I each had one of the fresh catch of the day - mako shark and halibut. Both were excellent - cooked to order, served at the right temperature. The blackening was just right - not over powering. Service was professional and not over-bearing. Bartender served up a great Old Fashion!
My husband and I had just arrived in Alpharetta to attend a wedding and wanted a relaxing excellent meal to kick off the weekend. Atlantic Seafood Company did not disappoint. Our waiter , John, set the tone for a great experience. He welcomed us and explained the menu and wine list. Our food was fresh and delicious. He made excellent recommendations.
Overall, the 5 of us were disappointed in the food. The French Fries would have been good except for the sugar...we couldn't eat them because they were too sweet.
The lobster rolls were good, but not great due to the strange mix of spices. Lobster needs ONLY
good mayo, lemon juice, salt, pepper, & a tiny bit of celery.
I realize that we are all very particular; you were very busy, so you can disregard my comments!
Our server was excellent.
Fish was not as tasty as on previous occasions. Nothing wrong with it, but just had a different flavor to it. Clam chowder is and always has been very good. Service is and has been very good.
Water glasses had a semi-funky smell to them as the rinse wasn't as clean as it should have been. We have noticed this smell in other restaurants in the past and we believe that it comes when the glasses are in the final rinse cycle. Something in the liquid that clings to the glass.
The smell won't make you sick or something, but it is there before you start drinking.
We will be returning in the future because we love delicious seafood and Atlantic Seafood has just that
This restaurant is outdated, the food was bad, the music was loud. One person in our party of 4 could not even eat their food because it was so bad. 2 people had the red snapper and both said it tasted old and rubbery. Overall it was a bad experience. Would not recommend would not ever go back. Very sorry we went there!
The Atlantic Seafood Company has a full bar and specialty cocktails and excellent fresh seafood choices. Everything was very tasty and well prepared. The grilled oysters were a favorite... along with the grilled trout. Service was excellent, friendly and accommodating. We would definitely recommend to others.
I've always enjoyed the food here, and have wondered why it was not more crowded for lunch. The seafood chowder is outstanding, the fish tacos very good, in fact I have not had any food there that wasn't good. I need to try it for dinner, but for a business lunch it is hard to beat.
This is the fourth time I visited this restaurant. I ordered sushi and some wine. Ironically we were seated at the same booth as last time we visited Maria was great in serving and attending our needs as usual. Ambience was quite because we were in a around 7 pm. Would visit any day I'm in Atlanta given the consistency of food quality and service. Ordered a couple of sushi rolls. My colleague ordered Grouper. No specials though. Which was a bit disappointing.
