Apparently, unbeknownst to OpenTable, Atlantic Seafood closed its doors for good on 1/20/2020. I made my reservation on 1/22/2020, and I was never notified by OpenTable that my reservation was no good. OpenTable even followed with me, to remind me of the reservation for 2/14/2020, and even asked me to confirm to the restaurant that I planned to show up on 2/14/2020, even though the restaurant had been closed for three weeks...
It was closed and you did not tell us about it. Restaurant had closed 3-4 days prior. Eve Rives
This reservation was not honored since the restaurant closed on 1/20. I had no notification and arrived with 7 friends and had to make quick plan changes . This is shameful that notification was sent.
Our first visit---service was kind of slow, as was our food coming out of the kitchen. Food quality was very good; price was pretty good due to Sunday evening special for shellfish. We had shrimp cocktail, Ceasar salad, lobster tails. Would recommend all. Would return on a Sunday evening for this special.
The atmosphere was very nice; noise level was quiet, allowing for conversation. This was a plus since many area restaurants are overly loud.
Suggestion: Do something about the outdoor lighting. The parking lot is too dark and feels less than secure. Given incidents in area parking lots, increased lighting would offer a greater sense of security. It would also help the restaurant's visibility from the road, which is not very distinctive at night.
This was our first visit to celebrate my sister’s birthday. We had a 6pm reservation on a Friday and the restaurant was empty with only 2 or 3 tables with diners. We were seated promptly however it took quite a bit of time for our server to come over and greet us and take our drink orders. She never asked if it was our first time visiting or shared any information about specials or the restaurant.
We ordered our drinks with appetizers of calamari and chargrilled oysters. The oysters were good, however the calamari tasted like they were from a frozen bag of calamari. Not fresh at all. The also served us warm bread with a honey butter.
For the entree’s we had two orders of the twin lobster tails with sides of spinach, brussel sprouts and broccoli. We also ordered the Shanghai sea bass with the jasmine rice, spinach and bok choy. For the price, the lobster tails were small and had no flavor. The brussel sprouts were ok, however they were drenched in balsamic vinaigrette. The sea bass was ok, but the jasmine rice was very plain and the bok choy had no flavor and tasted gritty. We could not eat the bok choy. Since we were celebrating a birthday, my sister had the choice of creme brûlée or another dessert option. She chose the creme brûlée which came out with a birthday candle. The creme brûlée was also just ok.
From start to finish, our dining experience and service was just ok and nothing special. We will definitely not return as I would not recommend this restaurant for special occasions or as a dining option. It is too pricey for what you are served and there are too many other restaurant options in the area.
I usually go there for lunch and is always very good. This was my first time going for dinner and I was not impressed. The food was not that great and overpriced. The service was good.
Great food, menu selection rocks, nice people... what else do you need?
Our visit to Atlantic Seafood was very disappointing. We have been patrons since their opening and always have enjoyed it. This evening was very different. The restaurant was close to empty on a friday night...not a good sign. Our server was distracted and basically unavailable. We had to ask the hostess to not only serve our food, which was cold by now but we also asked her for the check as our server never returned, nor di she ever offer dessert or coffee. I doubt we'll ever go back.
Great service and amazing fresh seafood. We had crab cakes, grouper and salmon in our party. Everyone loved their dish and the kids had the fried shrimp. Portions were plentiful. We’ll be back.
Great experience! We went to Atlantic Seafood on New Year’s Eve. The service was actually better than I expected on such a busy night. The food was excellent. My husband and I have dined here before. We brought two other couples who had never been to this restaurant. They were all quite impressed with their meals.
We had a lovely time as we did not feels rushed by our waiter. Great food.
Good food but service was subpar. Managers delivering food and our server never checked to see how our dinners were. Understaffed on New Years Eve?
It was New Year’s Eve. The original waitress had an assistant. The assistant was very gracious. Our waitress had an attitude when we told her we were waiting for our meal for two hours. Our friends steak was rare when it finally came It was redone and great
Thank you to the manager who kindly took off our wine from bill
Always consistent with good service and fresh seafood.
The food was very good and our waiter was excellent but the host who seated us was rude as we had reservations and all the booths were open. We requested a booth and she about bit my wife’s head off about what a busy night they had coming up and basically how dare we ask for a booth. Could not believe her bad attitude. All she had to do was smile and say the booths were not available. Obviously she did not want to work that night. The host is the first employee you meet in a restaurant and that sets the tone. I run a business and if any of my employees treated my clients like that I would fire them! Just the look on her face was scary like she hated customers. Thank God our waiter was so nice.
Our food was excellent just not plentiful. The interior seating area could use some freshening up. Seat fabrics were worn, and the wavy long couch in the waiting area was worn AND dirty. The waiter service was ok but nothing special.
We arrived at 7pm, and our entrees weren't delivered until 9:15... 3 of the orders were wrong, and all but one entree was served at room temperature, as though it had been sitting for some time. They reheated the meals in the microwave for us. The server tipped over our wine bucket, forgot my salad dressing, brought no spoon with the soup, and never refilled my beverage through the entire 3 1/2 hour experience.
I appreciate that they discounted our bill, but my wife's special birthday will be remembered for the not-so-special experience. I'll have to make it up to her...
Dined on Tuesday Night. Was there for 3 hours. Appetizer never came. Ran out of sushi rice. Wine never came. Food took almost 2 hours. Terrible experience. Never will return again.
Severely understaffed for a busy Christmas Eve dinner caused long delays for food, dinner not coming out together, and had the waitstaff behind all night.
Atlantic Seafood is always good. They have a nice selection of fish, seafood and steaks. We came early and our server was able to be very attentive. Once our dinner was served he became much busier and it was harder to get his attention. All in all, it was very nice. We have been coming to the restaurant for years.
Dinner with children
Great sushi, atmosphere and service. We really like their Happy Hour offerings. Thank you.
We had a wonderful meal after an afternoon of holiday shopping. The service was exceptional and our seafood was amazing. We had oysters on the half shell as an appetizer and salmon entrees. A very enjoyable night and excellent staff and food preparation.
Server was outstanding. Hate that I don’t recall his name
Bar staff is amazing. Superior service and food is always perfection.
Hotel staff highly recommend this restaurant. Unfortunately, Food and service did not meet my expectations.
Overall it was a good experience.
Food was good, but the menu has a feeling of not having been updated in years. We got the impression that the menu was very limited.
Service was excellent.
Food was less expensive than we'd anticipated.
My cocktail was badly watered down.
Overall, a good place that feels a bit dated. A good choice for a special dinner, but better choices aren't hard to find.
My rental car was broken into in the parking lot poor surveillance.
Ok atmosphere, good food at a reasonable price. Fantastic sushi!
We had not been there in years and choose it for my daughter’s birthday. They were out of the trout, spring rolls, key lime pie, and cheesecake at 7 on a Wed. Night.
We’ve been to ASC several times. It’s always great. We LOVe the spicy tuna rolls. This visit didn’t get all of the stars and it’s not really the fault of anyone other than the maker of the steamer that was not working. The crab legs came out cold and needed to be re-boiled. That was the only misstep. Service was fantastic.
Outstanding seafood prepared to perfection but VERY expensive.
We can only afford to go maybe 2x a year for special occasions
Very delicious lobster tails and crab cakes!
Our waiter was outstanding! This was our 35th wedding anniversary and we also appreciated the complimentary desert!
Would come back again for next year’s anniversary or before!
Looooove their sushi!!
Excellent Experience as always. Douglas did a great job!
My wife has gluten, soy and diary allergies and the staff graciously worked with her to help her understand what she could have and to tailor things to her needs. Truly appreciated.
Bad service, bad food. No way would I recommend to anyone for the price.
The food was absolutely wonderful. From the appetizers, to the entrees and even the drinks. The waiter even mentioned a drink that the bartender had created that was awesome. The noise level was very low as well. I will be definitely setting up another reservation in the near future. I give it 5 stars.
Excellent food - excellent service- we are never disappointed!
Our server Drew was excellent.
