Atlantic Grill Near Lincoln Center Ratings and Reviews
I would not recommend this restaurant under any circumstances. The food was mediocre;
espressos served at the end of the mean weren't hot. Water glasses didn't get refilled without asking. Our friendly waiter was no where to be seen after he took our order. I told the asst manager the service was poor and his answer was they have 300 covers. That's the absence of service.
We were seated in a row of two-tops without enough room between the tables. The hostess had to ask the two tables on both sides of ours to move so we could sit down. I thought this was ridiculous. The wine we ordered was out and there was no substitution (at the same price). Again, ridiculous.
The grilled fish and sides we ordered were delicious.
we came for dinner, the appetizers were edible, as for the main courses: one course was reasonable the other main course was a disaster (everything in the plate was overcooked), the overall experience was terrible - a huge disappointment. The eating hall was very noisy.
Exceptional seafood restaurant, with consistently excellent fresh and excellent food, inviting ambiance and first-rate service. Curtis is your courteous and delightful host, who welcomes you, remembers you, and assures that your every need is met. Our favorite seafood restaurant. Being right across from Lincoln Center makes it an especially convenient pre-concert stop.
Food, service and ambiance all exceptional. They proactively asked if we were going to a show to ensure we would get out on time. Also, they seated us in a quieter part of the restaurant. The food was so fresh and deliciously prepared. Highly recommend Atlantic Grill!
This restaurant used to be a favorite, but it's fading into "go here if there's no place else...."
Drinks were still just fine, and service, too. But the food.... tiny portions, over-cooked vegetables that were so tough they needed to be sent back to the kitchen garbage pail...enough to make me sorry I'd chosen to make this reservation. Obviously, I'm not the only one who feels that way. Half the restaurant (the 65 Street side) was closed. Too bad!
Let's start with the great cavatelli. Started with the appetizer portion and it was fabulous. Perfectly cooked pasta with just the right amount of density. Then had perfectly cooked faroe island salmon. So often when ordering medium rare fish in a restaurant it comes out medium...this was just right. For a side dish ordered the grilled eggplant with ricotta and pine nuts and it was wonderful. Others in our party had the scallops and were greatly pleased. The restaurant is warm and friendly despite the large size of the room. If it's a special occasion - book a booth.
Surprisingly impressive! The table we were offered was a large cushioned booth in a very quiet section in back of restaurant.
Our server was particularly attentive and made excellent suggestions.
Particularly good was the large green salad without usual damp lettuce, the scallops were stunningly flavored and the branzino strikingly fresh and tasty.
Freshly baked chocolate fudge cookies excellent.
Excellent seafood, including sushi, composed plates of fish and shellfish, and a well-priced wine list. The front desk is very friendly and well-organized. Service is tremendous. We were short on time, and the server was totally on it in getting us out on time. All this just steps from away from Lincoln Center.
The food was very disappointing. My wife ordered scallops with crispy onions. the onions were sautéed and not at all what was promised.
I ordered the salmon, very underdone.
When the bread was brought a piece fell on the banquette. The waiter picked it up and put it in the bread basket.
