A great place for lunch - or dinner either before or after performance at Lincoln Center.
We came at noon and had theater tickets for 2pm at Lincoln Center. At 1pm we still had no food. Our waitress said the kitchen messed up all the salads. The food was fair at best as was the service. We were not happy and will not come back.
We enjoyed the food on the pre-fixe menu. They nicely accommodated a change due to my food allergies. Artic Char was delicious!
Great customer service and excellent choices of meals. Very friendly and courteous.
We had been to the eastside restaurant a lot before it closed . It was great . The westside is not as good , very disappointing to spend $450 on food that is not good . Will not go back .
Reception, food, and service were wonderful. We had an absolutely marvelous dinner to celebrate our anniversary. It could not have been better.
This was our third visit to The Atlantic Grll and we were quite happy with our meals and service. Our server was aware that we were attending a program at Lincoln Center, so time was a factor. Yet, we didn’t feel rushed. My daughter and I shared a delicious chopped salad, her filet mignon was cooked perfectly and my fish was moist and seasoned just right. We shared the S’mores molten chocolate cake ( not sure I have the name of the dessert quite right) but it was a delicious . What a pleasant experience!
Excellent food. First-rate service. Very atttentive maitre d.
Favorite restaurant in Lincoln Center area. Diversified menu. Consistently above the rest.
Despite our late arrival, the service was impeccable and unrushed. Food is always perfectly cooked here with often a bit of whimsy, such as crunchy roasted chickpeas with perfectly grilled salmon. Ricotta ice cream—delicious! Great beginning to an evening at Lincoln Center. Fills by 6:30.
Only issue was the fact that we arrived at 1115 am for 1130 reservation. We drove 1.5 hours to meet friends. Host did not allow us to sit at table..meanwhile staff eating laughing joking..no big deal to seat us and give us a cup of coffee while waited for retaurant to open. While I understand the restaurant is not open until 11:30 would it really have been a big deal to let us sit at the table instead of on some uncomfortable bench near the entrance
I am not normally a big fish fan but decided to try Atlantic Grill.
The food was superb and the wine was chilled and delicious too.
The atmosphere was elegant but casual at the same time. I went with two old friends for a catch-up dinner. We sat in the back (65th street side) of the restaurant and the noise level was perfect.
I left through the 64th street side and it was so fun to see a really vibrant, but a bit noisier, scene on that side of the restaurant.
I had a great time and will definitely be back !
Food and service were excellent. We had the Prix Fixe and portions wete plentiful. Server Chessa was delghtful. We had a quiet table and could talk which we dod well adter we rec’d the check!
Service was slow....fish was over cooked...side dishes were dry...seemed as though the plates had been sitting under the warmer for while...very overpriced for the value...used to love this place...it’s really gone down hill
Enjoyed our meal. Tables a little too close for private conversation.
Lunch was good. Large portions. Menu was pricey for lunch but to be expected due to nearness to Lincoln center. Interesting choices but limited lunch menu
I go here with my grandparents every time we see a show at Lincoln Center! I love the food and atmosphere.
The food was quite tasty, and its proximity to Lincoln Center makes it a pretty perfect spot for pre-theatre dining. The decor is warm and calming, and the atmosphere very comfortable. The only disappointment on the night of our visit was the service; our waiter was absolutely professional, but somewhat aloof and seemingly distracted by other concerns. The additional server sharing this area was far more friendly and energetic, and you could see her creating a more enjoyable experience for her tables -- in fact, we asked her to take a photo of us rather than asking our own waiter... she obliged with a smile and took a great photo. So, by all means, give Atlantic Grill a try... just ask for the happiest server working that shift and you should be golden.
Atlantic Grill remains one of our favorite places for lunch, brunch and dinner. Great food in a pleasant setting with good attentive service.
The Atlantic Grill is one of my favorite uws restaurants.
Neighborhood gem is an understatement. This is the best restaurant in the Lincoln Center neighborhood. Food is delicious. Service is exceptionally fine.
This restaurant used to be a really great place to have a casual seafood dinner. I hadn’t been there for probably over a year so decided to go back since it is close to theaters and concerts. Unfortunately, my companion and I found the once-fresh fish to be not so fresh and almost inedible. Thinking that the chicken might be good, and still hungry, we ordered the chicken after not being able to eat the fish and it was almost inedible too. Really too bad because I used to really like this place!
Our dinners were very good! I ordered the salmon and it was surrounded with roasted Brussels sprouts and my husband had the Char.
Our apps were delicious and the dessert choice of cookie, strawberry, cream and fruits was simply amazing! Nice wine selection and the espresso was a perfect finish
We loved the service. So friendly and attentive. My salmon was delicious and they were fine with me changing vegetables. My husband liked his chicken dish too. Mostly loved the staff and food was very good. And best of all they asked if we were seeing a show afterward and kept that in mind for timing. Great place. We will go back.
Service was just fair, and not what I expected. We have been to the Atlantic Grill before, but this visit was disappointing. Server did not come back to offer a second beverage even though I had the wine list open on the table, and never asked how our meals were. My wife's dinner was average and small, and mine was good, but not at all what I expected, even though I asked several questions about it. It was not a bad experience, but was not worth the substantial prices. We will probably choose another place the next time we go to Lincoln Center
Stopped in for brunch before a matinee at Lincoln Center. Had lunch and brunch options. Food was excellent and variety enough to please all of our diners.
Friendly service. Fairly quiet so easy to converse as tables are not too packed in. Good value as well. Not what I would choose for lets say an anniversary dinner, but for a family get together a great choice.
delicious and good value nice brunch menu with free drinks
Food was good scallops excellent, swordfish ok, but both preps were excellent. Service by waiter Andrew super. Restaurant very nice to acknowledge our 55 anniversary with 2 glasses of champagne and an excellent dessert to share.
Nice place to go very near Lincoln Center.
Surprised this time by the poor presentation and how salty the red snapper dish was. Bread before meal was also different and unimpressed compared to what I had many times before.
this was my second visit, and I loved it just as much. once was for New Year’s Eve; once was for a birthday. both times, the quality & service were great.
We have been here before but came away saying the food was not as good. Maybe it was just this one night or the quality has gone down. The Spicy Tuna Sushi roll was so spicy that one of the guests did not take a second bite.
Good food and good service. Excellent for pre-Broadway shows
A very disappointing meal. I asked for no spices or seasoning on my order because of a medical condition and sure enough my meal came with spices and seasoning. The waiter said he told them what I said and either they did not listen or he forgot to tell the kitchen. They replaced the spicy cauliflower with burnt broccoli and did not replace the salmon.
Really a big disappointment. We'd been fans of Atlantic Grill on the east side and since that closed, decided to try this one. The restaurant was old and tired and dark. I asked to sit at a banquette, was offered 3 different banquettes and each one had a ripped seat with big gray tape keeping it together. Really bad news. Service was lackluster and almost rude. Had to get our own knives when ours were removed after appetizers. Food nothing special. Will never go back and never recommend.
Such an amazing restaurant! The city rolls were truly delicious, & the salmon was incredible! Cannot wait to come back! :-)
Andrew made the evening for the five of us. The steaks were average and the fish was to dry.
However, Andrew did his very best to make our visit pleasant.
Dependable expensive pre-theater dining. Fast service and very good food. Service was only OK-waiter served us another tables order. Still, a very nice anniversary dinner before a show.
The quality of the food and service remains high. This was the first time we shared the experience with friends and they were equally impressed. We were glad to find that some recent reviews, claiming a decline in quality, proved to be unjustified.
Good solid food. No good choices for vegetarians. A good restaurant when going to Lincoln Center.
We were sat in a booth that was sticky. My guest was dripped on by the a/c above. We were moved to another booth that had a shaky table. My guests salmon was very undercooked. Both entrees were embarrassingly small. The charred broccoli was smothered in a less than appealing sauce. Not good for the extreme prices.
