Great experience as always from beginning to end. Great customer service. Great food.
My favorite go-to restaurant prior to attending Lincoln Center. Unfortunately, we were a little disappointed on our recent visit. The service was just unorganized...had to ask another server to find our waitress as our drinks still hadn’t arrived after our food was served. Also, everyone at my table wanted a bit of fresh pepper, but again, there was no one available to assist. I’m sure the spotty service was a direct result of the concert-rush. Our food was good, though was cool by he time it was brought to the table. Will be back!
My steak was undercooked and chewy and the server was less than friendly.
Always a reliable stand by. The food is terrific and interesting. A worthy place for a super evening,
The food was excellent and the service was as well. My husband and I return here at least once or twice during opera season. Though I would suggest calling the restaurant in order to get seating in the back room as the front room is a little too "energetic" (to use the phraseology of Opentable).
Eight of us dinner before the Nutcracker at Lincoln Center on Saturday and found the place perfect for that. It was crowded and pretty noisy, but it felt right for the holidays. We started with oysters, which were fresh and delicious. The fish entrees were great, and the sushi fabulous. One person had linguine and enjoyed it. The chef sent wonderful homemade chocolate cookies compliments of the house, since we had no time for dessert. I would definitely come again. Only drawback is that it is a little pricey, but we knew that going in.
2 for lunch on Saturday.. the restaurant was packed. Very efficient front desk. Tuna Nicoise and Cobb salads were excellent- as was the bread basket and Sancerre wine.
Birthday for wifey was bangin
My issues with the restaurant are the noise level and how the tables are on top of one another. Other than that I think its very good.
The oysters were okay. Not the best. The rest of the meal was good, but not the level that was expected. Waitress was excellent.
loved our quiet table in the middle of the restaurant - food and service quite good - great for Lincoln Center or any time
We had a lovely dinner in the back dining room off 65th Street. The 64th side seating plus the bar was a bit loud on a Friday night, but the 65th side was relatively quiet, with large comfortable banquettes. We asked for a quiet spot on Open Table, and the restaurant acknowledged that when we arrived and delivered. The oysters and fish were excellent; desserts and everything else as well. A perfect place for dinner before a Lincoln Center event, since it's basically across Broadway. We'll definitely be back.
GREAT PRE-THEATRE DINING. VERY MUCH CONNECTED TO NEED TO MAKE A CURTAIN AND VERY HELPFUL IN MENU SELECTION. GREAT EVENING WITH FRIENDS.
The fish was fresh, not overcooked, and nicely served.
The staff was efficient but we did not feel rushed.
Location is great near Lincoln Center.
Wonderful dinner! All the food was delicious and very fresh. Enjoyed a nice relaxing dinner here before a show.
Everything about Atlantic Grill is excellent. We ordered a la carte, and so we paid more, but the food was fabulous, as was the service.
Our server just threw the bread board on the table without looking at us. It took over 10 minutes for the server to come over to take out cocktail order. We had to signal to him that we are ready to give him our entree order. And only once, just before the check arrived, did he smile and ask if everything was alright -- my guess is that he was working for a higher gratuity.
The restaurant was not crowded but service was quite slow. Food was satisfying.
Great place pre-Lincoln Center. Food is good and they get you out on time.
Excellent food and vibrant atmosphere...warm and professional greetings from the host! Very professional and efficient staff! Extra surprise desert for my birthday and excellent fish dinner. The dinner was served efficiently but not rushed and served in time to make our concert at Lincoln Center. The restaurant is less than a block away making it a top restaurant to eat before the show! Highly recommended.
Everything was terrific: drinks, appetizers, mains—scallops, swordfish. Excellent service. Very accommodating to my husband in a wheelchair. Close to Lincoln Center.
$30 for a rather small portion of swordfish was a ripoff
What is usually a first rate experience was marred by lazy, inattentive service - the failure to replace silverware, provide sugar/cream with coffee, or even pay attention to the guests at the table. It required several loud call outs to passing staff members to get anyone to even look at us... the food was unimpressive and not hot when served.
Wonderful! Seated in the back in one of the long comfortable booths, its quiet back there and so visiting and conversing was easy! Food was excellent, and service was perfect!!
Surly bartenders and a ridiculous $14 for a white wine spritzer with the world's cheapest Sauvignon Blanc. Food pretty mediocre and waiters confused bringing the wrong dishes to the wrong table. Disappointing in the extreme.
Christmas gift before show
Had a fabulous celebration of two birthdays following a performance at nearby Lincoln Center. Everything was delicious, fairly (though not inexpensive) priced and the service was excellent and sincere. The ambience is lovely and festive though the noise level while not deafening can get a little loud. Totally recommend this restaurant for any occasion but especially when visiting Lincoln Center. Have had great brunch here too.
Excellent service and food. Nice ambience
We asked for a quiet table and were seated in a booth on the 65th street side whick is perfect. We all enjoyed our meals and the service was attentive.
The weekend brunch menu is uninspiring, the food OK but ordinary. For the price, it is out of line with even NY norms. I've had much better meals there at dinner.
Outstanding in every way! Quiet, comfortable seating, omelettes were terrific, service was the best we’ve had in some time!!! We were there for pre- opera brunch Can’t wait to try it for dinner!!
We had an excellent dinner and the quality was quite good
While the food was fine we were disappointed with our experience. We made a reservation 3 weeks in advance, got a confirmation from Open Table, got a phone confirmation from Atlantic Grill the day before but when we arrived Friday night they didn't have our reservation. I showed them my email confirmation from Open Table and I still had the phone confirmation on my cell phone, yet they didn't have a table for us. We ended up eating at the bar, very, very disappointing and frustrating. I spoke to the manager but he really wasn't interested or concerned, simply said he was sorry.
Food fantastic! Happy to sit in back room. Front was very crowded and noisy. Service excellent. Will return.
Long time favorite. Good comfort food with a sophisticated twist. Wonderful seafood selection. Nice dining area with a lovely bar. Delightful staff. We will return.
Before the opera, the place was heaving. Not really an enjoyable experience because it was way too noisy and we felt rushed. My companion found part of a sugar packet in her lobster bisque. They were very apologetic, but it was alarming.
Very disappointing - server did not listen, was very abrupt and main arrived incorrect twice. Nicely decorated restaurant with good looking food but let down by poor service.
First time at the opera!
Pleasant experience. Good food and good service. Not noisy. We didn’t have to wait; table was ready.
Perfect pre or post Lincoln Center spot! We came for brunch and have also been here a few times for dinner... Great choice!
