Food and service was the best we've had in our six months living in NYC. We plan to become regular customers at Atlantic Grill.
Rainy night in NYC so we were 30 mins late. They sat us right way no questions asked. Server was friendly, outgoing and provided great suggestions. Food was amazing... steamed shrimp dumplings appetizer, market spinach gala apple and endive salad with crispy mushroom croquettes followed by the pasta special with shrimp and the tuna... couldn’t ask for better. Great ambiance just rounded out the experience. Highly recommended.
Our waitress was very attentive and courteous .. great service and wonderful food... we will definitely recommend this restaurant 👊🏾
Was great but when I ordered a cappuccino it never came , wasn’t on the bill but she totally forgot and my father knew and was waiting but I said forget it
It’s remarkable that every time they make changes to the menu, either something already there gets better or something new and terrific is added. The shrimp and sweet potato risotto with the salmon couldn’t be better. Somehow the shrimp dumplings are tastier than before. The small bread loaf is still a great welcome-to-the-table. The service was as always amazingly attentive.
We dined at the restaurant on Wednesday, Dec. 11. Unfortunately, when we were seated for Dinner, the restaurant temperature was VERY COLD. When we asked the server what was the issue, we were told that they were having problems with the heat. However, it was freezing. I ate dinner with my coat on. I wish they would have let us know when we arrived. I could have made a choice. Other guests were complaining too. It was terribly uncomfortable. And we were very unhappy.
OK food, OK ambience. We were there late, after a concert, and the server was doing her best but was clearly exhausted. They do seem to need more help. The seafood pasta we had was good, the seabass with miso could have had more taste--and for 42 dollars could have had more on the plate.
Just returned at 12:33pm. Had great time with my friend. But we had to shout out to talk to each other..... high noise level! :((
Just called upon return.... no response: Lost&Found.... left my fan on the table. But, nobody responded..... need to call tmrw!!😖☹️
All of the food tasted incredible. Great service. Definitely going back again!
Last Friday I was invited to Atlantic Grill and had one of the best meals in a long time...i eat in many different restaurants in many different countries. The Arctic char was super good as was the crystalized ginger ice cream. I brought someone there two nights ago. Again, excellent. The waiter the first night was excellent on timing. Two nights ago, a much less busy night, was pushing just a little too much. I will be back!!! Thank you and Merry Christmas!
A pleasure as always!
In between brunch and dinner on a Sunday afternoon, we had a 3:45pm reservation. Quite a variety on the menu: eggs, burgers, salads, sushi and entrees; no problem choosing. In addition to the menu, many specials recited by our wait person. Friendly service, good food and value. Attending a Lincoln Center event, a short walk to the Atlantic Grill.
Horrible service and a botched birthday lunch
I Have been going to Atlantic Grille for as long as I can remember. Why? Because the food is excellent, the sushi amazing and creative and the service is top notch. It's great for all occasions and conveniently located near Lincoln Center. Perfect!!
Brunch entre was skimpy and potato cake greasy. Unlike my usual experience here. Waiter was taciturn and monosyllabic.
We went for lunch on a Saturday. We didn’t realize that the lunch menu doesn’t apply on the weekend. You can only order from the brunch menu. The food was great but wish they had better information on the website to indicate inability to order from the menu we wanted .
We both found our fish dishes absolutely fresh and perfectly prepared. OII had the salmon and my friend had the char special.
Excellent service. Friendly staff! Very good food!
Nice, but food was so so
Pre-fixe lunch option is reasonably priced and service team makes sure you make your show.
as usual food service accommodations are great. We were seated in the 65th street side and had a great quiet dinner with friends. Thank You
The food is quality. Hectic during the holiday season, but they honor the reservation. Service and ambiance great.
While my review is all around good, the noise level was very loud which made conversation at a table of 6 very difficult. My choice on this survey only gave me the choice of "energetic", not "very loud".
The menu is quite good, the food preparation is excellent and the service could not be better.
Lunch birthday date with an old friend. I had the ahi tuna salad; she had the salmon burger. Go with salmon. Tuna slices were sparse for cost. Delicious shrimp dumplings. Food was fresh. Waiter was great. Ask to sit at banquette. Very private.
Wonderful as always
Nice location and atmosphere. Food disappointing for the high price
The waitstaff were terrific. They even took something off the bill without my asking theM to do it. It was a lovely dinner. I only wish they hadn’t run out of lobster.
Food And service was excellent
Food was excellent. Online indicated there was a prix fixe menu, but we were not given or offered it. (I didn’t want to order from it anyway). We arrived before our reservation and were seated in the private dining room
Downstairs which was quiet. Service was good, but I was most impressed with the food. The diver scallops and filet mignon were some of the best I’ve had.
Atlantic Grill is a great option for pre-theatre dinning. It’s a big restaurant so they often have tables available, their menu is mostly fish but there are a few non fish options, and they are willing to accommodate allergies and food preferences. It’s a busy and fault noisy restaurant but the food is consistently good.
Overall the dining experience was enjoyable. The big drawback was both our meals arrived cold. The soup was cool followed by the side dish being cold. Food was sent back and then arrived hot. Surprised with this glitch at an upscale restaurant. Will rethink next time make reservations.
My family and I went for an early dinner after spending the day in the city. The place was great and food was fantastic. Atlantic Grill is a place we will be back.
Excellent value, food and ambiance...some very unique dishes too
I used to love Atlantic Grill but it’s quality and value has changed. I was there recently and spent $250 for 3 people and my mother's and my scallop dish consisted of two very small scallops and two very small shrimps and no sides of any kind, no vegetable, no rice or potato. For $72 that is unacceptable. This has not been the first time.
We had a great table in the back room. The front room was too noisy so we were very happy to be in the back.
The food and the service were excellent.
It was Thankgiving and the staff was so nice. The restaurant was quiet and calm and the meal was delicious. A perfect night out without any fuss
Excellent Thanksgiving dinner. Terrific server. Though crowded, they did an excellent job. Too noisy, but otherwise perfect.
The turkey Thanksgiving special was mediocre. The meat was fairly tasteless and only warm. The other items were OK, but not outstanding. The rolls and bred were very good. Service was very attentive and helpful.
