I have been going to the Atlantic Grill near Lincoln Center for years and it is consistently good
The service was horrible! All of our main dishes came out cold as did the side dishes we had to send everything back twice. The portion size if the Arctic char was so small it was laughable. Bus boys threw the food in the table without serving utensils. We felt badly for the waiter because it was clearly the kitchens fault not his. There were five if us and we were all served our
Meals at different times. Side dishes finally
Came out lukewarm after we finished main dishes. They need mire help in the kitchen. The hostess at the front was rude —she refused to take our coats even though coat
Check wasn’t open
It's a great place for brunch. My complaint is that the "free cocktail" had no alcohol in it. Three of us had Bloody Marys. No alcohol was in any of them.
Great food and attentive service. The reservation management could be better though. We had our reservation at 6 30 at had to wait 20 minutes before being seated.
Great place for a pre-concert dinner.
The food was fair to good, not outstanding.
The service was polite, but I sensed a concern over table turnover time, due perhaps to “productivity” concerns. Certainly not relaxed for $170 with tip. Have been to more professional pre theater dinners at same price point.
It’s nothing like pretheater at la caravelle when it was still open. I know it’s a new world and rents are up, nevertheless......
Went there to celebrate my bday! Very much enjoyed the lunch options- do however advise to maybe add a vegetarian or poultry option. Server was good- maybe could of smiled more or been more friendly. But overall had a great lunch celebration.
Incredible experience after watching The View and visiting from Canada.
I've been here many times. The food is always good and nicely presented. I thought the service was a bit off this time, though; our waiter was a bit too chatty for my taste.
The food was exotic and amazing. Especially, I went to the Atlantic grill in the restaurant week. So I could enjoy a wonderful meal at a cheaper price. The server was so kind and sweet, so I was really happy. :)
Great for events near Lincoln Center! Warm, welcoming atmosphere, great service and delicious salmon. Makes for a wonderful culinary experience before theater in this area.
The Atlantic Grill is an elegant and quiet restaurant. That’s the beauty of it! Food was average to above average. We did not want dishes that were too spicy. However, even though we told it to the waitress, we had to send two dishes back because the spice factor was too much. Lovely restaurant. Go there to have a nice quiet elegant dinner.
A great combination of good food, service, value and ambience including little noise plus just a stone's throw from that wonderful cultural center named after a president (Coolidge?, Nixon?, Lincoln?).
Somehow even during restaurant week, still ended up with $100pp. Foods good but it’s not cheap
too noisy very busy food was good but service poor
Sorry to say the Atlantic Grill has gone down hill. A friend and myself both ordered wine, salads and two different types of fish. Her salad came with heavy dressing on it. She asked for light dressing. I always order it on the side. While we were eating our salads, our fish dishes came. What timing! When we finished our salads, they again delivered our fish dishes which were no longer hot, but room temperature. They have lost it. When they were located on the east side, that were one of my favorite restaurants. That will be our last visit.
Food was wonderful. Service was perfect. Place is a great spot for a lovely lunch.
Food always good as well as the servers. However, the hostess seems to always have a bit of an attitude. The attitude has actually deterred me from eating here more often.
Sunday brunch is excellent value. The crab cake Benedict and Nicosia salad are especially delicious.
Always good food and. service. Maybe they could expand their menu.
The sushi, rainbow roll & seafood platter was fresh and delicious . So were the truffle fries. Our waiter Jay was attentive, very nice and had a good sense of humor.
Really good food, we had tuna and sushi, good service, good value
Very good food and nice service. One guest had a special request and the entree came exactly as she requested.
A lovely place to dine.
Highly overpriced, very small portions. First course was delivered before we had a chance to start sipping our drinks. Tables so close together that we felt like we were participating in the second date of the couple sitting next to us. Definitely not enough value for the cost.
Always a reliable place for quality seafood and sushi. The "back room" is generally quieter and little less hectic.
Just a lovely meal. and it was a good place for a birthday
The size of the portions has diminished significantly.
Our second time eating at the Atlantic grill and very happy again. Food was great and the menu items are varied with selections that are unique and well presented.
Great place. Highly recommend this restaurant. Got the seafood tower for an appetizer and it was outstanding. Great service too!
Second dinner here within a month. The atmosphere is great -- warm, cozy, just the right amount of lighting and, best of all, reasonably quiet. You can actually hold a conversation! The food is excellent, with really great bread (something so few restaurants do well) and a well-priced prix fixe. I had salmon with a shrimp pumpkin risotto that was outstanding. Good portion size, too. The service is highly professional and yet friendly and they know how to move you to a curtain without ever feeling rushed. Highly recommended.
Lunch at Atlantic Grill is a wonderful experience. Reception, food, and service are hard to beat!
Seated quickly. Food service. Love the menu. Easy place to go pre -evening events on UWS
A consistent dining spot pre-Lincoln Center, with attentive service that provides a nicely paced dinner without having to rush out to make the curtain time. Portions and sides are generous, the simply grilled options a good alternative, with a side of spinach or other greens to share. Salmon and scallops were done as requested. Wine selections allow a variety of price and geographic choices.
Superb food, excellent service and great atmosphere. Absolutely loved everything about the evening
Food was great!
Great service, nice room, food was so so . Dated menu w just ok execution
This restaurant is a must! The service was excellent, knowledgeable and friendly. The menu had a wonderful variety but the specials were incredible.
The imported Borrata and the grilled octopus appetizers were first rate.
The home made pasta was perfectly cooked and flavorful .
Wait till the end of your meal and fall out of your chair with either their ricotta cheese cake or their home made cannoli .
Waiter was unfriendly, would not allow any substitution but only offered to remove the offending item. Today most places are very accommodating and put customer service first.
When it comes to this restaurant I will follow their example in the future and remove them from my list of places to eat.
Absolutely one of the best value prix fixe lunches in NYC. Every one of the 3 courses is excellent and the bread is amazing too. Service is superb and the space is old world beautiful.
We waited 40 minutes before served. Not acceptable.
