This is my favorite restaurant, but I was disappointed this time. It is my 5th year coming for my birthday. The steak was super salty....... my husband took the outside off. The wine was not great... I enjoy white and the selection was limited. The shrimp cocktail was excellent. I hope It is better next time.
First time at this neighborhood restaurant. Terrific food and service, very accommodating, and lovely down to earth environment. We look forward to returning!
Always high quality food, in a warm and comfortable setting. It was a slow night in mid-July, the restaurant wasn't crowded, but for some reason the service was very slow. Our waitress would disappear not to be seen for quite some time. Just not up to the same standard of attentiveness that we usually experience in this restaurant.
Atlantic Grill delivers dependable service, food and ambiance. Our reservation was 5:15 as we had 7:00 opera at Lincoln Center so we had a leisurely dinner. The fish is always fresh and prepared as requested. It can be very noisy during pre-theater dinner but it's also a vibrant atmosphere. It's New York at it's best.
This restaurant has great quality food and service. I like the menu very much although I would like to see the addition of Dover sole because It is one of my favorites & I know they would prepare it well. I did try the shrimp tempura spicy tuna roll as an appetizer and wanted to order more. It was really outstanding.
My husband & I were wanting a nice quiet celebration and we felt this restaurant checked many of the boxes. Great food with a nice atmosphere and for me low lighting which sets a tone. It is the kind of place where you can enjoy a special evening or turn it into a weekly habit.
Commander of the Vatican Swiss guard and family was our guest. Everyone’s thoroughly enjoyed their evening
Service cordial but not intrusive, food perfect, ambiance intimate, wine list good. A go-to place for reliable food, privacy and comfort.
We went to dinner there prior to going to The Cher Show at the Neil Simon Theatre. The service was fabulous and the food was just as good. Our server gave us recommendations that were spot on with our taste. Would definitely go back.
Been here on a few occasions and always find the food a bit salty. My husband don’t seem to mind but I’m very salt sensitive. Ill just ask to go easy on the salt next time I go there. Overall food was ok and service was adequate.
Great eating as always. Soooo fresh.
Atlantic Grill offers tasty food and an enjoyable clubby atmosphere. It is always a great spot for lunch or drinks!
Location is perfect for a night at the ballet. Good service and great food
Took my mom & her friend to lunch before the ballet. Our waiter Luis was excellent and went out of his way to accommodate by bring gluten free bread to the table and cookies with a candle for my moms 90th Birthday. Luis was professional and served us with a big smile all while keeping us on time for the Ballet. I highly recommend Atlantic Grill for the food, service, & atmosphere never disappoint.
I have recommended Atlantic Grill before, but when we took my mom for her 85th birthday, they didn't acknowledge the special occasion. While the food was good, the dining room was loud, and I have to say it didn't feel special.
Always a nice experience. Perfect for a meal before a performance at The Met.
As usual, my group of 4 had a wonderful time at the Atlantic Grill Lincoln Center. We would there for a late lunch and were not disappointed. The food was great, the service impeccable and the price was very reasonable. We will come back again and again.
Best shrimp and lobster spring rolls in the city! Served with fantastic citrus/coconut dipping sauce. Look for waiter Kevin Kopp - the best! Great location for pre-Lincoln Center.
Tempura shrimp rolls with tuna and with avocado on top were both fantastic! Sea bass was tasty too!
Loved the shrimp and lobster spring roll appetizer and my crab cake sandwich. Food was very fresh and delicious. Loved the dark cool dining room on a super hot day in NYC. Our server was great. Look forward to returning soon.
I was extraordinarily disappointed THIS time with the service and food temperature. The waiter who took our order never showed again--to check on whether our food order was proper. My appetizer and entree BOTH arrived cold when they were supposed to be served hot---the shrimp dumplings and the fish entree. Even the sauce with both arrived cold and flat. My entree was even worse than the appetizer--the fish arrived tepid, at best, but I would rate it as being served COLD, when it was supposed to be served (as I requested) PIPING HOT!!!! Our waiter disappeared on us; so, I never got the chance to complain or to have him take my orders back for heating. Disgusted, and because I was on a business lunch--my not wanting to make a fuss--I let it go. Very disappointing!!! The restaurant wasn't even that crowded--so there is no excuse for such terrible service and food served cold when it was supposed to be two HOT entrees. My guest was smart enough to order a cold appetizer and cold entree. Ugh. Mickey Michaels.
We always have the seafood tower - yum - and Muscadet. Always good. A side of spinach makes it virtuous. Expensive, but worth it.
Special night in Manhattan, delicious meal and wonderful waiter
It was my first time dining here. My friend and I had ballet tix and decided to have dinner here beforehand. The restaurant is located just across the street from Lincoln Center...so it was very convenient. The food was so good! We shared the Atlantic Grill Salad and the Shrimp and Lobster spring rolls for appetizer. I order the scallops for dinner and my friend had the roasted chicken. Everything was so tasty! I would definitely return here to try more dishes!
It was quick and convenient for a pre-performance dinner. Food was good bu unexceptional, fish was fresh but the "blackened" spicing was just about the blandest I've ever had. Prices were a bit steep. Wait staff were attentive.
Greatest fries ever. Delicious omelette
Many options for fish and seafood on the menu including sushi and a raw bar. Skimpy portions of vegetables that accompanied the entrees, better to order side dishes a la carte. Wait person unfamiliar with the options available for diners with diet restrictions. A trip to the kitchen for consultation with the chef, appreciated, but caused food selection to go into overtime. No bread or water refill during dinner.
Neighborhood go-to when we’re in the area.
Food was good but the most memorable part of the evening was our great waitress!
Fish was fabulous, as were sides.
Food was burnt and did not match menu description. Waiter did not return to table after food arrived. Will not return.
We had a delicious lunch with great service, excellent preparation and a wonderful atmosphere. Atlantic Grill continues to be one of our favorite places to dine.
Went for lunch with my mother, we did the Prix Fixe menu, we lived everything. My crispy salmon was a bit fishy, but I ate it all nonetheless. This is a NYC restaurant, they pack you in rather tight, but that is par for the course in New York. The Salmon Avocado Maki appetizer was perfect, as was the Panna Cotta dessert. I want to go back and eat larger portions!
Consistently fine prep and service. Glad for the return of The Banana Tower.
Overall I was very happy as usual when I come to this restaurant. They got us out in a pretty timely fashion as we had tickets to a concert.
Food always good!
Enjoyed the lunch menu special
My husband & I went to celebrate his birthday. He always enjoys a Caesar salad so I agreed to share one. He was very disappointed with it. On the other hand, our fish entrees were delicious.
Friendly nice waitress, waitstaff. Great reception on entering restaurant. Prompt service for our hungry crew!
Always a good choice for fish when near Lincoln Center, although definitely not inexpensive.
Restaurant is great, been there many times. The noise level could be better so you can easily hear what members of your party is saying.
The restaurant is a bit pricey but gives good value. Cod and Salmon entrees were cooked to perfection and the strawberry rhubarb pie was almost as good as my mothers. Sound level was moderate, but still a bit hard to carry out a quiet conversation.
