The food was just terrific. The service was a bit slower than usual.
Manager should visit DaUmberto in Chelsea to see how service should be.
All of that said, love Atlantic Westside.
The menu had one red meat and they ran out at 6pm, early in the evening. I even stopped in 4 hours earlier to confirm 2 filet mignonette would beavailable at 6. They said no problem.
Always ready for parties of any size, atlantic grill is ready to serve.
My friends and I had a great experience. Service is provided as a team. The food was great and the ambiance as well. This was a great pick before we saw our show at Lincoln Center.
Have been to Atlantic Grill many times but was disappointed on my visit at 3:45 on Sunday. First I asked for a booth and was not given one although several were vacant near me. The brunch was still on and most of the dishes were eggs (not my choice at 3:45 In the afternoon!)
The waitress did mention a fish option (salmon) which I have had before. This time - Very disappointing small piece, not well prepared and with no accompanying starch/vegetable except for watercress garnish.
It was very nice atmosphere and the food very excellent for a brunch. We also had the oysters which were excellent!
We really enjoyed ourselves but the food is not what it once was.
Excellent absolute citron martini..
truffle rainbow roll which was not tasty and did not taste fresh. I can’t imagine who came up with putting truffles on fish
Lobster roll really great
Shrimp dumplings- very doughy
Swordfish tacos were ok but not the best.
Ice cream mediocre. Rum raisin, chocolate and ginger.
Really should focus on quality of food.
I’ve been here at least 100 times
They were out of several things on the menu, the fish tasted like cod liver oil and my waiter was unfriendly and cold.
Excellent food right across fromLincoln Center. Had a reservation for7:00 pm opera was at 8:30 was seated right at 7:00 enjoyed a nice meal with plenty of time to get to opera . Tables were a little closer than I would have liked them. A little bit of a tight squeeze.
We have eaten many times here and really miss the Atlantic Grill in the Eastside!
Fantastic menu & good def lived up to their reputation but not happy with the service. Server didn’t come to our table except to bring meals. When he brought my husband’s birthday cake he just left it on the table with us without a word!! No Happy Birthday, no song, Nothing!
Always quality food with good atmosphere.
Had a lovely dinner in this restaurant very conveniently located near Lincoln center. Wonderful grilled salmon. The service was great and efficient. A good choice for a pre-theater meal!
When we are at Lincoln Center, we love to go to Atlantic Grill. And it doesn't hurt that I am a Landrey member. I do not like all the Landrey restaurants, but this and Oceanaire are my favorites. What we love here is the sushi bar. We sit near it. We don't always have sushi but we like the atmosphere of this side of the restaurant. It's livelier. One of my favorite items is the roasted cauliflower side. It is delicious. I love the simply grilled fish. This time I had the arctic char and it was done to perfection. Many restaurants in the Lincoln center area are not on Open Table any longer; so I appreciate that Atlantic Grill is; it just makes it easier for me to make a reservation.
Ok food, a bit over priced but the service is great.
Even though I had made a reservation a week ago we had to sit in bar area due to multiple parties. Was disappointed not to get a table for a business meeting.
Always good sushi or a healthy salad or piece of fish. Reliable and yummy
Dinner before Opera - convenient, classy , good selection of food and cocktails. Our server was great... will recommend and go again
Very speedy service, excellent food, tasty desserts. The tables are very close to each other, but I did not find this as a big issue.
I dine alone here frequently because I’m always treated so well, unlike some other places that ignore singles. The food is consistently delicious and the service is attentive friendly and efficient. It’s my go-to for what I call “luxury comfort food”
Food and service, as well as reception and ambiance, were excellent in every way. A wonderful lunch experience.
We went for lunch on a Tuesday so there was no Lincoln Center traffic. The place was serene and lovely. Our waitress was charming and helpful.
The $29. 00 lunch had varied choices and the portions were enormous. He had lovely lobster bisque and I had shrimp dumplings to start. Tho not exactly Chinatown they were quite good. MY salmon was prepared medium and had beautiful little cut veggies. His fried cod sandwich was too much to finish!
Dessert sorbets tasted of summer.
My martini, at $14.00 was giganto--- almost too much--- ha ha.
Go, but not on matinee days--it's a treat.
This is a go to restaurant when I attend a Lincoln center performance. They always ask if you you are attending a performance and the time. Although we told our server (and he is a regular server on Monday evenings) we did not get our order taken in a timely way and did not get our check without some effort. Not the usual but really annoying as I had 5 minutes to get to the performance. Good thing I had my tickets with me.
It took a long time to be asked for drinks order and the resulting martini glass was only half filled.
Busboys never refilled water glasses. When asked if we could have panfried branzino grilled instead the answer was NO. The artichokes bourigole was described as a stew and so we requested it be served on the side. It came on a huge plate with the fish filet in a small side dish. The baby potatoes were actually mixed in the bourigole rather than separately. We questioned the service and the waiter sent a manager over who replied she would tell the chef. No accommodations were offered. We noticed this manager at several other nearby tables speaking with clients. Something was certainly off this night. At these high end prices in Lincoln Center area such a poor experience is inexcusable..
Food is always consistent
We had a great dinner! Looking forward to a return visit
Excellent as usual!
I have been there several times and enjoyed everything but this time service was terrible. Messed up orders, very slow and inattentive. Manager no help. Very disappointing.
This was my third or fourth time at this restaurant because the seafood is fantastic. My black cod with miso was a perfect rendition of this dish. The restaurant offered an unusual selection of east and west coast oysters and all were top quality. The restaurant was extremely crowded with tables so close together we almost felt as if we were dining with the couples on either side of us. The noise level was so "energetic" that we had to scream to hear each other. I will try to return at times other than pre-theater on Saturday night!
Nice ambience but the food was tasteless and extremely underwhelming. Will not return. Extremely expensive for lousy meal.
We enjoyed our meal after the theatre. it was a most convenient location. The food was excellent, and what a great bar. Very attentive staff
Had a great time with family and friends.
We were warmly welcomed and asked if we preferred a table in the larger main area or the smaller back area. Service was prompt, gracious, attentive, but never intrusive or effusive. A very efficient kitchen, used to allowing patrons to have a lesisurely but well-timed pre-theater meal. This is a seafood restaurant that knows what it’s doing. Perfectly cooked Arctic char & wild caught Faroe Island salmon, creative sushi, generous sides, well-chosen wine list. We shared the elderflower-ginger ice cream for dessert, light and refreshing. We’ll be back!
Good food. Great location for pre opera. Fresh seafood.
Went to the Atlantic Grill for lunch last week. Food and service was great. Besides being delicious and a bargain, the 3 course price fixed lunch is probably one the best kept secrets in New York. Understand its quiet in the afternoon but quite busy at night.
The pre-fixe dinner between 5pm and 7pm is an excellent value. Service is also excellent. Best dining spot
We booked for a late Brunch New Years Day and were treated to a mostly empty dining room with no loud noise. All of the food was great, seafood fresh, and wine tasty. The service was a bit slow considering we were the only table he had, but otherwise a great visit
We come here every year for brunch pre Salute to Vienna performance at Lincoln Center. It is always enjoyable. This year we had friends join us as well. The brunch is lovely. I do want to mention that over the years that we have enjoyed brunch here, a mimosa or other cocktail always had been included. They have since changed their policy and drinks are not part of the brunch. I did bring this to the attention of the waiter, but he was told they no longer offer complimentary drinks with brunch...just so you know if you are planning on dining here.
Spent NYE, after many calls to confirm what was 150 fixed price which was announced several days before!!! Told it was 4 course turned out to be 3, charged for coffee!!! Gave us a horn!! Total rip-off!! In a back room with two other guest tables!!!
Our meal here for New Year's Eve was unfortunately quite disappointing. The service was okay - better than average, perhaps, though it has been much better on other occasions. Likewise, considering that there were three deserts on the evening's pre fixe menu, running out of one of the before 10:00 PM seemed odd. After an excellent lunch here the day before, this dinner will make me think twice before dining here again.
