Overall we had pretty good experience. What I like about the service is, it is friendly. In another word, unlike some high end places although the service is good, it gives you an "plastic" feeling.
Chopped salad was so disappointing and the endamame was smothered in the dressing.
I usually like the restaurant but I wouldn’t recommend these 2 dishes to anyone wanting a delicious lunch. I ordered wrong!
Perfect place for a working dinner!
We requested a quiet table, and they put us in the back room - nice and quiet, easy to talk. And the service was excellent.
Excellent food, attentive service but recognize that this comes at a cost as this is quite pricey
Our server Hanna was terrific, accommodating and just right. Lovely experience!
Simply amazing food and service!
Wonderful. The front of the restaurant is noisy but all the way in the back is perfect.
Good location for dinner before going into Lincoln Center
The food and location were fabulous. Staff ensured we would make our show and have a leisurely meal
Superb from the time we walked in until we departed! The blackened swordfish with lobster and sweet potato hash was amazing and perfect in every way. The beet salad appetizer looked great and tasted even better! We live in Manhattan and will definitely return! Our server was Ricky and he was appropriately attentive and his timing was impeccable!
Great lunch after performance at Lincoln Center.
We had a lovely evening. The noise level was slightly high for an intimate dinner for two. However the evening was not spoiled by it. Thank you.
Excellent dinner and service but overpriced
Our serv er did a wonderful job. Our meals were perfect.
Very pleased with our overall experience at this restaurant. From the attentive staff, to the excellent menu selections and relaxing environment, all aspects of dining here were satisfying.
The server and food were excellent. The space is beautiful. It was a great place for my birthday lunch.
I frequently dine at Atlantic Grill before a performance at Lincoln Center. This time I was seated in the more casual area up front. They have booths that are nice and roomy. Unfortunately the 'quiet' table I was promised by Curtis was across from a group celebrating a birthday with two babies. Not quiet at all. Amanda was an outstanding server and the experience was otherwise enjoyable.
Nice restaurant, very pleasant staff and good service. Food wasn't anything spectacular for the cost. Lobster spring rolls were the highlight. Sandwiches we ordered were not as flavourful as we had expected. If you're in the area and the menu appeals to you, go for it.
Celebrated a birthday with good, good friends. The food and service was great!
We arrived for brunch on Sunday and were seated promptly, however; a wait person did not arrive at our table for at least 15 to 20 minutes and the hostess had to take our order. We were not offered a refill on coffee or asked if we needed anything during our brunch. I ordered an omelette that could be either egg white or regular, and I order a regular omelette and was served an egg white omelette. I was disappointed in the service as well as the food. I would not recommend this restaurant for brunch.
Excellent brunch! Seasonal foods, hanging menu! Something for all tastes!
I am always satisfied with the service I get from The Atlantic Grill's staff with great service from the waiters/waiters. Always come out feeling good. Great place to eat!
My favorite restaurant treats the clientele well and has a great overall vibe.
The food is slightly above average; the service was very average. Expensive for what it is, but convenient location for Lincoln Center events. Ultimately would probably not return unless out of necessity.
Great food, great service! Wonderful to enjoy family from out of town.
We’ll definitely be back
Great meal for good value.
Overalll a great experience
Although I had know Atlantic Grill from its previous location, I was sadly disappointed.
The food was extremely pricy for small portions.
My dish, Mai Mai, was small in size, and tasteless. It could have been any white fish over cooked. The wonderful flavor and essence of that fish was not in this preparation.
Sides were large, and had a different twist, but the fish should have been the main star.
We had a great experience before the Opera at the Atlantic Grill. We were seated at a nice booth by the window in one of the large rooms that house this upscale restaurant. We enjoyed great service, clean fresh food, and nice conversation (especially after a neighboring table vacated). It's a great option for a moderately priced meal with interesting menu choices.
49th wedding anniversary
Atlantic Grill is a family favorite. On Thursday I recommended it to some friends. We thoroughly enjoyed the lunch menu which was a real value. Three courses for thirty dollars!! Most of us enjoyed each course with the exception of the cod fish sandwich which two of us had. It was over fried.
The dumpling appetizer was yummy.
The salmon entree was perfect. Desserts delicious.
The service is very good. I personally have always enjoyed the Grill since back when it used to be on the east side.
A consistently good choice.
Great food but it’s way overpriced. $800 for 5 people, little high
We went before the opera, which is just across the street. The food was delicious and our server was very friendly and efficient.
Ordered the tuna Niçoise salad and although it was very good it was very pricey. Also it’s very dark inside the restaurant. The sushi prices are overpriced as well.
Despite good food and an attentive waitress, I would not recommend Atlantic Grill to a friend because like me, most of my friends are middle-aged women and several of them have been known on occasion to dine with only themselves. I have dined at AG at least 30 times with my husband but tonight my husband got stuck at work and I had a reservation, so I went alone. There were several empty tables and remember I had a reservation. I was escorted to a table that was shoved between two other tables, each placed perpendicular to me. At first, one perpendicular table was empty, so I didn't feel the squeeze but shortly after sitting, still with tables empty, they filled it and created the sandwich. I felt ridiculous as I literally had the backs of people's head on both sides a couples of inches away. What made it truly embarrassing was that the restaurant was emptying out and I was jammed in. When the manager came over to address my complaint, he said that no one had ever complained about that table and as I could see, the restaurant was full. The first is highly unlike; the second was a lie. I accepted a new table and watched the place go empty, which means they did not have many bookings after me. If you are a woman dining single, I recommend you hit a place that doesn't see you as expendable and then insult your intelligence.
We always enjoy our meals at this hospitable restaurant near Lincoln Center. The food is tasty and the staff efficient and friendly.
Excellent food-Freshest fish-delicious cherrystones-professional service-my Favorite place to eat
We were very unhappy. We got seated with menus but we had already looked online knowing we were going to order bronzino. The waitress took a while to come and THEN tells us in a not nice manner that they are out of Cod and Bronzino since the day before. Setting the tone for a miserable experience. That took 4 meals off the menu leaving small choices for us. We ordered apps and we were sitting practically on top of the next table that we might as well have shared a check. I ordered miso glazed sea bass with crispy rice. I told the crabby waitress that I have a flour allergy and asked if there was any on the plate. She tells me no. My meal gets delivered and looked very different from my husbands. I had to wait for the waitress to ask where the crispy rice was. She THEN tells me the chef said it had flour. They never came to tell me or ask if I’d like a substitution. The annoyed waitress went to the back and brought me a plain bowl of sticky rice. Meal was fair. Service terrible
Food is good quality but not cheap. Service just OK.
Asked for a booth when reserving and they attempted to put us at small table even though a few booths were open.
