Our waiter was excellent!
We traveled to Boston from Toronto for a weekend gateway. Food was amazing and reasonably priced.
Best halibut I have ever had. Tasty chowder also...I would happily go back.
Always outstanding food and service. Great food selections
Clam chowder excellent. Some dishes very ordinary with high price. Service simply terrible. Do not recommend for high price charged.
When we arrived, the table was not ready, we waited for approximately 25 minutes. They didn’t allow me to take the stroller to the table, although I mentioned in the reservation that I need it with me. My baby is 6-month old and can’t sit in high chair.
They were not helpful, not nice, and rude.
We loved the restaurant. Service was outstanding. Our waiter’s advice about food preparation was perfect. We had delicious clam chowder, halibut and sea bass, among the best I’ve had, and an outrageously decadent peppermint ice cream pie for dessert. One of my favorite restaurants ever.
The meal was delicious, from appetizers to final course Go for the food you will not be disappointed
Delicious, fresh seafood. Beautiful presentation. Service was prompt. Our server was very knowledgeable and friendly -made the experience great.
Went for lunch. Food was fantastic! Lobster roll was out of this world. I would highly recommend.
We come up from NY to eat here regularly and everything is always exceptional. Last night we dined and had a mediocre experience. Our appetizer crab cake came out cold and wet. The waitress replaced it with a new one within 3 minutes but this one was only slightly better - warm at best. Our entree proteins (swordfish and cod) were both very good but both of the sides on our plate were cold. My husband had corn pudding and I had spinach and rice. Waters were no refilled during our meal and the service was lackluster. Chalking it up to a busy night due to graduation weekend but it was a disappointing meal.
One of my favorite restaurants on the planet. So good.
We enjoy Atlantic Fish every time we are in Boston. Food and service is always great.
My lobster ravioli was amazing!! Best I’ve ever had. And the bread? Heavenly
Very loud in restaurant. Need noise absorbing material in restaurant
Went for lunch on a weekday. We were seated promptly. Wait staff arrived promptly as well. Food was very good.
My fish was hugely over cooked
Fantastic service. Daniel was an amazing server.
Good food, my food was a bit cold - could definitely tell it's been sitting out but the server never came to ask how it was so couldn't give
My overall experience was good. The only part of the night that I wasn't happy with was the host. We had reservations for 4 at 6:45pm. We arrived on time and the host asked us to stand to the side and wait and as we did, other guests were sat as they came in.
I totally understand the set up of the dining area is a combination of tables for different size parties, however after I had to go back to the host and ask what was the hold up, we were finally seated and there were tables available to seat a party of 4....
Went there with my parents. The environment was nice and the food was delicious (May be a little too much for us).
Mother’s Day Lobster Risotto was light and very tasty!!
Great food and service for Mother's Day! Always a great time.
Our waiter was excellent and the food was top notch
Always a place to go when visiting Boston. Great food and service.
Great buzzy place in good Boylston St location. Service was excellent. Mixed reviews on the food. Choose carefully. My Atlantic Halibut simply grilled was delicious but my partners Cod was too underdone. Vegetables were not done well, root veggies were underdone and broccoli was bitter and burnt tasting. But they do serve great fries! And some of the House Specialties we saw going past looked more appetising. Excellent Margaritas and a fantastic Sancerre, but at $218 we expected better.
The server spilled our foods on the table and didn't seem to be sorry
We celebrated Mother’s Day and a Birthday in our party—it was superb. They got my allergy free meal perfect!
Totally overrated and overpriced. Arrogant server and heaters were not working outside. Food was not hot! This was our second time there and we will never go back!!
Party of 4
All of the food was delicious!
5th time there within the last 6 months
We love it!
Atlantic Fish doesn't get a lot of buzz, but I find it to be the most reliable, higher end fish restaurant in Boston. From the delicious bread, wonderful appetizers to the generously sized and expertly prepared main courses, I'm never disappointed. It's always busy, but I've never had bad service either.
The food was very good, I would highly recommend the crabmeat artichoke dip. The only reason it doesn’t receive a 5 star is because of the service. Our server disappeared for like 20 minutes when we were done with our meal.
The freshest seafood around. The lobster fradiavlo was the best I tasted anywhere. I definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants a fresh seafood dinner. Also the waitress we had was wonderful
Clam chowder was excellent. Chicken Caesar salad was not good - too much green romaine, not enough white lettuce, huge lettuce pieces, tasteless dressing, only a few croutons, very over cooked chicken
We have been here many times over the years and this time did non disappoint. Our meals were fantastic and the service was excellent.
Lunch time service was quick/friendly/efficient - will definitely meet clients there again in the future
We had a business dinner with an acquaintance this week. He requests Atlantic Fish whenever he is in Boston. We arrived early so started with a glass of wine at the bar. Promptly at 7:30 we were shown to our table near the kitchen. We shared a dozen local oysters (Duxbury and Westport). Our friend is not an oyster lover like we are, but he said they were the best oysters he had ever had! For entrées I had crab cakes, my husband had grilled salmon, and our guest had blackened tuna. Everything was delicious. Atlantic Fish has a good wine selection and we ordered by the glass. Though I did not get our waiter's name, service was impeccable. Thank you, Atlantic Fish, for another successful and fun dinner!
Cioppino and lobster risotto were delicious. However that lobster bisque was a little bit salty for me. We wanted to have a kids’ meal more quickly. We should have given note to them.
Opening Night at The Boston Pops
Dinner at The Atlantic Fish Company was the perfect way to start opening night at The Boston Pops’ 134th Spring Season. Getting to experience two of Boston’s venerable institutions on a lovely evening in May was wonderful. The staff at The Atlantic Fish Company are very attentive and professional. Our server, Eddie, and his table staff made us feel like we were “royalty” and his suggestion to try the freshly caught Striped Bass offering proved to be a great choice. My wife loves the Lobster Ravioli which never disappoints. Great restaurants continuously provide a total dining experience with excellent food, service and ambiance. Well done for 41 years.
Great food, elegant atmosphere, outstanding service! Christina was very friendly and funny and we had great time!
