Atlantic Fish Ratings and Reviews
It's hard to sum it up any other way than to say Atlantic Fish is THE place I think of when I want a reliably wonderful dining experience; it simply never disappoints (this was my 5th time to go). The food is always scrumptious--not just the entree, but everything: the bread basket, the butter, the appetizers, the sides, the desserts--no detail of deliciousness is "phoned in." Everything is the most delicious example of its category that I have ever had to eat. This time, we tried a new side--the corn pudding. Wow--I will be getting THAT every time from now on. We also had the Nantucket scallops special--they were cooked to perfection: creamy, but not raw. I had the lemon sole: delicate, tangy, fresh flavors in the fish and the sauce. Loved it, with the fresh vegetable sides. Our waitress was charming and conversational, but didn't loiter at our table to gab. She just made us feel comfortable, and was on her bustling way. We had a wonderful, almost transcendent (yes, food can be that from time to time), night. Thank you, Atlantic Fish. Just keep doing what you're doing, because you're nailing it, in my book.
It was our first time at Atlantic Fish and we will go back. Sat at the bar as usual and had very attentive service. Great wine list and wine by the glass. Had the grilled calamari and the fried claims, both outstanding. Also had a couple of salads to share, both very good and big.
Everything was perfect. The baked bread was hot and fresh, the award winning New England clam chowder was delicious, the various daily fresh fish was cooked to perfection. The beet Martinis were so smooth, and different (in a good way!). Our waiter, Jim, made the experience very pleasant and had excellent recommendations. Will be returning!
Finally got to eat at this wonderful, Boylston St. locale. The warmth of decor and its lively vibe evoked fond memories of dining in BOS with my parents, years ago. The diversity of menu options and abundance of experienced servers are A+. The salad servings were very generous; all requests were met graciously. This is a well-run restaurant. It has earned my praise and continued patronage, soon!
Very accommodating! We were running late due to typical awful traffic heading into Boston. Very understanding. I had called twice to update Ricky that we were going to be late. He said no worries. Even 35 minutes late, we got a table right away! He had held a table for us.
Wonderful night on Sunday 12/10/17 for my son’s 30th birthday. We always use Atlantic Fish for special occasions and as usual they did not disappoint. We flew in from the UK after a 5 hour snow delay in London but a cocktail and some oysters we were good to go. Our waiter was one of the regulars who has great “touch” and the whole meal and evening was outstanding.
We both had the baked Atlantic Haddock. The fish was extremely fresh and perfectly prepared. Our hats are off to the chef who created the green bean side dish - it was composed of slightly grilled al dente green beans flavored with caramelized onions and tomatoes. We had never seen the preparation before but will be ordering it when we return which will be soon.
All of the wait staff were very attentive.
Although this restaurant is principally a fish restaurant, there are meat selections for those who are not fish aficionados.
I chose Atlantic Fish without knowing too much about it, but it turned out to be a great choice. My reservations experience was perfect. Our table was ready just as ordered. We were out of the restaurant back to our conference in the correct amount of time, and our server, Tony, could not have been nicer.
Great fresh seafood in a nice setting and a great location. We go here before concerts at symphony hall so it is perfect walking distance. It was pretty busy on this last visit and thus a
Iittle noisy but the service was excellent and the food was delicious.
Although I have had dinner 4 times in Boston this time, I have enjoyed dinner at the Atlantic Fish Restaurane 3 times in Boston very much. That means that I think that this restaurant is No.1 restaurant in Boston, although I think that the Pier 4 was also No.1 restaurant in Boston previously but was closed.
