Atlantic Fish Ratings and Reviews
Edwin our server was awesome!!! Being from Dallas we always look for good seafood when we visit. I ate here twice during last weeks visit, simply delicious! Shrimp scampi was the best I ever ate! I will eat here monthly when I’m in visiting my son :) and always request Edwin!
The service and food were excellent. Two of us ordered swordfish grilled and it was a generous portion grilled to perfection. The other person ordered baked haddock and was very pleased. The side portions were large and very good. My only complaint is we were a party of three squeezed between to large parties of 8 and 10. One group was particularly loud and kept moving around invading our space. The ambience in the restaurant is very nice but avoid being placed in the rear left side of the restaurant.
Beside the excellent food, most noteworthy was Jim, who was just perfect: attentive but not interrupting, made suggestions that were NOT the most expensive on the menu, refilled the water proactively, was happy we shared some of the courses, etc.
And the warm bread and butter, amazing.
My wife and I were very happy with Atlantic Fish & Co. It is definitely worth a visit. The appetizers were small, but complemented with a generous and delicious main course. The service was excellent. We would like to note that while the restaurant was busy, it was not extremely noisy, such that we could still have a conversation.
We took our teenage daughters here for brunch this past Sunday. The service food and ambiance was really very nice. Our server was very attentive but not pushy. They also have a nice kids menu for those who are looking for that. The drinks menu and wine menu were very complete. But the real star here are the entrees, the seafood entrees which are numerous, plentiful and very well-made. This is our go-to seafood restaurant in Boston.
After going to the Nutcracker in town, we made a reservation ahead of time for Atlantic Fish, which was an AWESOME decision. Although a bit pricey, I would rather overpay for seafood than not. I had grilled salmon with roasted Brussel sprouts and crushed new potatoes paired with Loimer Lois (an Austrian white wine) while my boyfriend had crab-crusted haddock with corn pudding and asparagus...everything was delicious!!!
We were seating early before our reservations, which was great because it was so cold outside! Our sever was awesome and brought us a "keto" friendly app (no carbs) due to my husbands diet, which was really nice (instead of bread). Our meals were great, and perfectly timed (not too quick and not too long to get them). Overall great experience!
We were a large party and were well taken care of. Thank you Daniel! Caesar was outstanding. Sole was very good, but too much sauce. Tuna was very good too. Perfectly rare. Other choices (salads, fried seafood, scallops, and fish stew) were also hits. Only disappointment: fish and chips was too greasy. Martins were perfect. Excellent choice for post holiday with friends.
Our reservation was effectively useless (for a second time). Despite requesting a table in a particular area of the restaurant, we were squeezed into an uncomfortable and completely unsuitable table. Meal was over cooked and served lukewarm. Have had better experiences at this restaurant – very disappointing this time and ironically, after a reservation was made in advance. In a separate event, indicating a birthday celebration in a prior reservation for that restaurant made no difference whatsoever. Not sure what is going on at this location, but very disappointed with experiences recently.
We arrived at the restaurant at 2:45 for a 3:00 reservation. The weather was rainy, windy and cold. We asked if we could stand in the vestibule while we waited . We were told that we couldn't so had to stand outside. When we were finally allowed in, the meal was very good, but Atlantic Fish will not be my first choice ever again.
