View Private Dining DetailsGreat service and the food was amazing! Loved the lobster ravioli!!!!
We had 2 fresh catch fish meals. The halibut was tastey but over-grilled and dry, the pan seared sea scallops were outstanding. Oysters were incredibly fresh. Wine was well paired. 1 dessert was enough for 1-4ppl to share (cheese cake). The service was on point and well orchestrated. The table and space was clean. Will go back next time in Boston.
Weekend in Boston and this was one of the restaurants on my list. Food was excellent. Our server was so nice. Best lobster bisque. Loved the calamari! The fish and chips were excellent. The scallops my husband had were delish but small for the price. Highly recommend
Late dinner with fantastic food. My drink, 761 mule, was terrible. Tasted like sucking on a log from last night’s fire. Service was bad. Peter never brought bread. When we asked, it came after the entrees. Never checked on us until we were done. Soured an otherwise very good meal.
The food was great! The noise level was unacceptable!
Horrible cost-benefit. Tuna tartare was acceptable but lacked salt. Fried seafood (entree) was bad. Crustaceans were undercooked, clams were overcooked. And it took more than 30 minutes to come. Only really good thing was the nice waitress and staff.
We had another great evening at Atlantic Fish. Our reservation was at 7:45 and we were seated promptly by the hostess. Our server, Randy, was knowledgeable and helpful. We started with a dozen oysters followed by crab cakes and grilled asparagus. Everything was delicious! Their wine list is extensive with good wines by the glass or bottle. Thank you, Atlantic Fish, for enhancing our evening!
FIrst off, our service staff was excellent. We ordered an appetizer of steamers, and neither of us had had them before, so our waiter put on a pair of gloves and showed us how to open and clean them before we ate them. He then recommended entrees, and both of us enjoyed our meals very much. Highly recommended.
Really enjoyed my first meal at this restaurant.
A nice place to eat! Great food, good service. The crab cake is delicious!
Glenn made the experience unforgettable. It was my wife’s first trip to Boston, and she will not forget it. The Atlantic cod was tender and delicious, the Ipswich clams... delicious. My wife was over the moon about the crab cakes. Combined with Glenn’s easygoing and friendly demeanor, I can say we had a terrific experience. We will be sure to return on our next trip!
we Enjoyed great, attentive, but not "hovering" service. The food was delicious. The clam chowder as my favorite.
We had a great evening before the Marathon enjoying a fantastic clam chowder and lobster pasta :-)
Minus the long wait with a reservation, everything else was great!
Food and service were very good, but it was a little pricey.
My wife ordered the Brook Trout and I ordered the Halibut. Both were over cooked and we were disappointed. The flavor was there in both dishes, but a few extra minutes on the grill make the difference. Daniel are waiter was attentive and offered to replace the dishes or a dessert. We declined. We have dined here before and have been very pleased. I chalk this up to a one off experience.
This restaurant is my favorite in Boston. The food is well-prepared and delicious! Service is exceptional. We like to dine here every time we’re in Boston.
Amazing food and service.
Food was very good. Excellent service. would be great in warmer weather so you could sit outside or by windows that open to outside. Portions are good size. Both times we’ve been good takes a very long time to arrive-20-30 minutes. So be prepared for that. Table next to us had food come more quickly but other 2 tables also questioned waiter on where is my food. Nice location on Boylston St across from Lord & Taylor.
We had incredible dinner experience! Everything was amazing from the 2 pound lobster (I highly recommend having them clean the meat out for you, it made it so easy), to the swordfish, and the wine. The portions were huge!! We got the crab meat on the side of the lobster (not stuffed) and they gave us way too much crab meat!! Amazing experience and our waiter was wonderful as was the sommelier. They have an incredible selection of seafood. I highly recommend it if you're in boston!
Great meal. Oysters and entrees were delicious. Our waiter, Bobby, was fantastic!
Great atmosphere. Well versed menu with great local seafood options. Waitstaff went over and beyond. Highly recommended.
Conner was a very good server! Would highly recommend him anytime forma VIP group!!! Wonderful!!!!
Another great meal at Atlantic Fish Company. The food is always very good. I think they were a little overwhelmed at first with many out of towners arriving for Marathon weekend but once we had a waiter assigned he was awesome.
I was eagerly anticipating my Atlantic Fish dining experience. The food was good. Nothing more. The atmosphere was very busy (6PM on a Friday evening) and it was somewhat challenging to have a conversation. The service was outstanding.
Atlantic Fish is one of my favorite restaurants. Always excellent food and service!
Totally enjoyed the ambiance, food and service. Solid.
I picked this place as a birthday dinner with my wife. Even that the staff, table cloths and prices indicate a certain class, the ambiance and the food itself resembles a tavern rather than a restaurant. My expectations were higher. I would not suggest this place to anybody. It is overpriced for a tavern, but for a restaurant it doesn’t have and ambiance or kitchen.
Exceptional service- fantastic food & cocktails
Food was delicious and fresh, we all ordered seafood. Our waiter was very kind and patient. Only thing I didn't like was how loud it was, could barely hear the person across from me.
Dinner at AF for the second time as a business meal: The waiter was excellent... experienced but not too aggressive on the upsell and knowledgeable regarding the offerings. The food was good but not a great value. Most disappointing was the arrival of the main course which had, apparently, been sitting in a warmer. The dinner was 6:00-8:00 pm and the restaurant was jammed to the gills. A visit during calmer, quieter hours might find better coordination between the kitchen and the floor. The location is convenient to events and hotels. Overall a good but not excellent dining experience.
Noisy and narrow seating in the booths. Some vegtables were barley cooked. Fish just OK.
We had great service and recommendations. The lobster was fantastic, flavorful, fresh, and easy to eat. We may go back again during this trip.
Atmosphere had buzz. But it made for more challenging conversation. Fish was just OK. Maybe I’m spoiled by the Pacific Northwest. Heavy. Good fish dishes should be lighter (incl the sides) to show off quality of fish. Waiter was fabulous. Was attentive but not overly so. Prices a bit steep, although portions big. Would have preferred better quality over substance.
Fresh ingredients and fabulous service on a full to the gills Sunday evening.
Went there 3 yrs ago, it was very good so we've decided to come back when we were in Boston this past weekend. Restaurant personal was akward, sommelier looked annoyed that we decided to choose our wine ourselves (i am a sommelier, i don't need her to tell me what to drink ;-)!)... Clam chowder was very good, but my fish was so dry... It was bad!!
My boyfriend took the tuna, which was a little bit better.
Overall, i felt like we paid for ordinary food, with bad service.
Would not go again and would not recommend... There is a lot of better restaurant in the area! Try the Eataly restaurant, they serve great fish!
Sunday Brunch with my husband
It was my moms birthday and she wanted lobster so I chose this expecting it to be ok. It was great! Our waitress was so nice, the food was amazing, the bread is fresh. Everything was great
One of the best restaurants I've ever been to. A terrific experience.
We enjoyed many of the food preparations, particularly the inventive use of seasonings in the vegetables. The scallops were exceptional but the tuna steak was bland, pan seared without anything added. The sommelier was very attentive and informative and helped us to pick a great bottle of wine, though pricey. The waiter was very pleasant but service was uneven. The waiter did not serve the dishes and did not check on us soon after receiving our food. I will seek out other Boston seafood restaurants in the future.
