Atlantic Fish has been a favorite of both locals and tourists alike, offering classics like award-winning New England Clam Chowder and Maine Lobster to more adventurous items such as our signature New England Lobster Feast ( 2 lb. Steamed lobster served with clam chowder, mussels, steamers, corn on the cob, and new potatoes). The understated and timeless decor of the restaurant immediately draws the attention of those who enter. The dining room reminds one of a classic cruising vessel, complete with detailed woodwork and murals reflecting the spirit of the sea. Tailored to intimate dining with cozy booths throughout.

Another outstanding dinner. The freshest seafood. If there were any comment, the plating of the main courses had so much food, it approached overwhelming.

Always a terrific dining experience from the great ambience and vibe as one of the most popular seafood restaurants in Boston. I went with two friends and we each had a delicious meal. The crab crusted haddock was excellent and they let me switch out my sides. I switched from the salt truffle potatos and sautéed spinach to asparagus and rice. My friends had a Cajun blackened hake (a nice white fish) and a grilled snapper. Their bread is amazing, comes out warm, love it! Their sommelier spent time extra time with us to ensure we were enjoying our wine and even gave us some intel into the screw off cap versus cork movement. Her take...screw off caps actually keep the wine fresher than corks and of course as we know better for the trees!

I went to Atlantic Fish for boiled lobster. I was looking for the taste I remember from sailing with my father fifty years ago off the coast of Maine and buying lobster from the lobstermen on their way into the harbor. I found it! The lobster was just delicious and served very well, with lemon and butter over a warming candle. I was very happy. Served with delicious corn on the cob (even in February) and good potatoes. Simple. I also had a cup of their great clam chowder, which is exceptional. It's a bit noisy, the decor is pleasant, the service was good -- and the food I tried was excellent. Highly recommended. (I read somewhere that if it's boiled lobster you want, you can get that anywhere in Boston and that may be true, but I KNOW you can get a perfect lobster at Atlantic Fish. I'll be back.) P.S. It is a bit expensive.

This is my second time at the restaurant. The food is good and the location is wonderful. However, this time, the service was subpar. The waiter seemed inpatient with us, he kept forgetting things, and when I asked him to pack our leftovers to go, we discovered afterwards that he left one of the meals out. Judging on food, I would come back, but judging on service, I'm probably going to look elsewhere.

Let me start off by saying great service. Randy our waiter knew his ish lol. The hostess at the door very pleasant and greeted us with kindness.

Now let me go into how great this place is and how they won us over. I was surprising my girlfriend for a post valentine day date.

I searched high and low to find a nice spot and came across this restaurant. Made my reservation for 5:30pm on a Sunday evening. It was Allstar weekend so downtown was extremely busy and no parking. Called ahead to say I would be 10 minutes late. Let’s just say it was 6pm when I finally found parking.

Picture this my girlfriend in heels walking 6-8 city blocks in the cold. She wasn’t a happy camper but she looked amazing. I was just praying they didn’t give away our seats.

I was power walking so she said go ahead, I told her I would never leave her behind. I slowed down and we finally made it.

Guest after guest came in looking for a table but the house/restaurant was packed. I knew we had no hope of our table still being there. I gave my name to the hostess she said it back with the words “right over here” WOW!! 45 minutes late and still have a table we were so happy the night wasn’t spoiled.

I had a nice glass of wine, my baby had a “where’s my bulleit” I believe that’s what it was was called lol. Both were great! I recommend the calamari it was delicious. My girlfriend had the seafood fra Diablo i went for the rib eye steak. Both delicious

We enjoyed each other’s company. The restaurant and its ambiance sets the mood so gentlemen trust not much work needed lol.

I give this restaurant an A+ ask for Randy...

The server was attentive and helpful. My husband ordered the halibut cheeks which was the special that day and it was delicious. We all enjoyed our meals. My cocktail was amazing and everything was perfect. The appetizer was a crab and artichoke dish that was amazing.

The food was great and the waiter was very good. Unfortunately, the table was not so great. My colleague and I were jammed into this little table which would have been more appropriate for a couple on a date. The bad table was on top of waiting for 20 minutes with a reservation.

Food was great. It was too loud and lighting was too bright. There was too much activity. I felt like I was in grand central station.

I really enjoyed our Valentine’s Day here! The food was sooo delicious- the Lobster Thermidor special was absolutely divine and we ate every bite. My lemon sole was not exactly as lemony as I was hoping for but that may have been because I imagined a different dish when I read it on the menu. We were disappointed that the red velvet cake on the dessert menu was no longer available but we really enjoyed the Boston cream pie and Key Lime pie desserts we ordered. And the ambiance was perfect for romance. Atlantic Fish remains a great choice for an upscale, classy, romantic special occasion.

We reserved a month in advance for Valentines Day as we’ve been on the search for fresh fish lately. It was our first time and I’ll be sure to request a booth next time. The tables in the back were packed together like sardines. Our waiter had to talk across our table as he couldn’t squeeze between tables to reach the couple in the corner. Ridiculous! Thankfully after they moved the atmosphere improved tremendously and we enjoyed a top notch meal including their fantastic rendition of Black Forest cake.

Took my fiancée here for a pre-Valentine/anniversary dinner. Could not have had a better experience. From when we walked in and dealt with the hostess till we paid the bill and left everything was great. Our waiter was the perfect amount of attentive not there every minute and not disappearing he was that perfect balance. The food was a perfect balance from the bacon wrapped scallops to the chowder to the lobster frai diavlo for me and lobster pappadore for her to the peppermint ice cream pie. It couldn’t have been a better night and thanks to Atlantic Fish for playing a great part. Will definitely be back multiple times.
