Overpriced for the quality of food there. Very average. The fish stew I ordered was horrible. Whatever tiny pieces of seafood they put in it reminded pieces of a dry rubber. Will not recommend this restaurant To anyone looking for a good seefood.
Service was fine but all food served was lukewarm to cold.
The restaurant was closed when we arrived - just a note on the door saying unforeseen circumstances meant they would not open. A shame as we had looked forward to it and frustrating as it meant we were walking around looking for a table at peak time on a Friday night.
A simple email would have helped to inform everyone. Another couple behind us had the same experience.
Ray was a great food server. Fish is always great here!
Fresh fish!!! A delight with your basic fish dishes, bake, broiled, pan fried or blackened along with some creative options too. The ciopinno was excellent. Portions were substantial. Service was acceptable. Drinks and wine choices were respectable. Low noise level which counts so much these days. Will go back for sure!!!
The service was excellent and the sword fish was great- best ever. Nice atmosphere but busy.
Fabulous food! Ate there two nights in a row. Our servers, Rafaela and then Jessica, were outstanding. Great experience!!!
The food was delicious. The service was friendly and efficient. The atmosphere was delight. Definitely recommend them if you’re visiting Boston or out for a night on the town
Lobster Risotto was so good!!
Our last night in Boston, so we wanted something special. Had the lobster bisque, lobster risotto and fried clams. All three dishes were excellent. The lobster risotto ($40) had so much lobster in it and also a lobster tail on top, which made it a good value for the money. Would definitely eat at Atlantic Fish Co. again.
Delicious! Some gluten free options which the waiters are very helpful to point out
My daughter and I came in for dinner before a concert. The experience was outstanding as was the food and drink. The sea bass chowder was superb. Thank you so much for a great night! Kerry
Atlantic Fish was a random choice. My friends, visiting from Ljubljana, Slovenia loved it, ate every morsel. The waitress was very nice, let us know what was local and, more importantly, independently let us know what was farm raised or wild caught. We had swordfish, fish & chips, and seafood medley. We were very happy. I was a taken aback by the Boston Cream Pie which, while excellent, seems a little fancy and being a Bostonian I felt obligated to explain to my friends that Boston Cream Pie is more homey-looking. Thanks for a lovely afternoon.
Best in Boston.
Great service, decent food. Loud place but still a great experience.
Excellent seafood salad - very helpful and informed waiter “Shawn” good advice on wine choice for meal!
We had to wait for an outdoor table but the restaurant texted us which was convenient. The food was excellent, and the bread was so good too! The server was very sweet and happy, even though it was pretty late in the evening. Loved eating good food outdoors on a nice fall night.
For a highly rated restaurant, It was disappointing and I didn’t have the same experience. The Crab/Lobster Louie Salad was just okay. The crab wasn’t that fresh as it was a bit fishy. There were 2 SF Cioppino ordered and both of us agreed that we had better....the fish was dried and overbooked, the clams and mussels were not that fresh. But, the broth has a good flavor. My other friend’s grilled halibut was also dried. One positive is that the bread was warm and delicious. Overall, it was an okay food experience, not worth the price we paid. I will not return.
Great drinks, food and service!
Traditional New England seafood presented appealingly. Flavor was good enough and service was adequate, but the food is only marginally better than that of seafood that is significantly less expensive. Went on a Wednesday night and it was packed and very loud. Nice ambiance and overall a good experience.
After dining at the Atlantic we found the food great and our waitress fantastic. Their wine list is notable.
favorite restaurant in Boston.
In celebrating my husbands birthday we call for reservations and we’re accomodated.
Though the restaurant was very busy we were seated promptly and the wait staff were professional and very knowledgeable regarding their menu. Offering great recommendations.
This was only the beginning, the food was prepared wonderfully, tasteful and served with outstanding side dishes.
We have eaten around the world and I can say I have never tasted a better entry than the blackened halibut!
We would highly recommend Atlantic Fish for a casual evening or a special occasion.
Wonderful staff, great chefs and varied selection. Always packed and worth the wait.
The appetizers were great!! fried oysters) however my friend and I were both I disappointed with our entrees, the sea base with lobster ravioli. The drinks were great, we both had dirty martinis which were fabulous especially with the crab meet in them. I dine at the Atlantic Fish Company and I always have a great time and the food is great, however unfortunately the sea bass did not impress.
Service was very good, food was outstanding, price was high. A very good to great meal.
Outstanding! Crab Louie and Cioppino were incredible! Service was fantastic! No complaints.
The service and food were top notch. The quality and the amount of food they give you is worth what they charge. All the fish was fresh and they can prepare it many different ways and they give you a choice of 2 sides with the fish. The sides are great and full portions not liitle mini portions for sides. We were a party of 6 and everyone enjoyed their meals. Everyone was happy and full. You usually aren't full from eating at a seafood restaurant. I will be coming back when I'm in the boston area.
This was my first visit and I am a tourist. Food and service were fantastic! The sommelier was very nice woman that was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I will definitely come back on my next visit to Boston.
Meals are always great and Our waiter Edwin was outstanding
We cannot wait to go back to Atlantic Fish Restaurant. The food was amazing. Our waitress was so wonderful. It made our experience even more enjoyable. Wish all restaurants had a "Gracie". We will be back very soon.
Went for a birthday celebration food always good and service was great as usual always a spot for great seafood while in Boston visiting or for redsox game.
Good seafood, good service. Loud,
fish selections well prepared. Pricey.
One dish was inedible but waiter Chris had charge removed . He was professional and courteous. Appreciated the comp dessert for birthday. Very disappointed that quality of linguini and clams was so poor as we count on Atlantic fish for consistent quality.
Atlantic Fish on Boylston Street in Boston never disappoints. Food is always excellent and 99% of the time the service is excellent as well
Had guest in town from Florida. Great New England spot. Highly recommend. Great seafood Lobster very good
Food was okay, though not great. Had the coho salmon, wasn’t seasoned so had to add salt and pepper. Thought was getting just roasted sweet potatoes but the were doused with sugar and didn’t indicate that in the menu. I thought they would just be roasted potatoes. My husband had the salmon, felt the same. He added the broccoli which was uninspired, just like steamed broccoli your mom makes. The brussels sprouts were highly rated, and they were pretty good, but I feel at such an expensive place that shouldn’t be the highlight of the menu. My seafood at Saltie Girl and Post 390 were extraordinarily better so I’d recommend going there instead.
In town with family and went for dinner before catching a game at Fenway. Service (Andrew was our server) was outstanding, as professional as I have ever experienced and solid advice regarding the menu. Everything we ate was fresh and delicious; my husband said it was the best cioppino he had ever eaten. Very busy, but we were seated immediately upon arrival at our reservation time. Highly recommend!
Excellent quality food party linguini diabolo and crab cakes. Whines a bit pricey.
Outstanding experience as usual. For me and my kids, this is by far the best seafood place in the Boston area. We love the food, options and the service.
