Scallops are very gritty. Was there for a birthday and didn't wan't to cause a fuss ...
I highly recommend this restaurant!
Visited from Chicago and wanted our kids to experience FRESH seafood and and award-winning clam chowder. Atlantic Fish delivered.
This was our first trip to Boston from Burlington, Ontario, Canada. We were so happy we visited your restaurant fantastic seafood, ambiance and service.
Food, service were excellent.
Steamers and San Francisco Cioppino were some of the best I've ever had, really worth it. Everything is also presented beautifully and you can tell it's all fresh. Must also give the corn pudding a try, it's great!
We were seated immediately. Our server was fine and unpretentious. Food was the real star here though.
We have been coming here for years and it never disappoints - fresh seafood that is beautifully prepared. The staff is helpful and efficient - maybe too efficient at times because the pacing of dinner feels quick. Here is a tip - do not miss the peppermint ice cream pie!
The food was very expensive, and portions were moderate-sized. Our food came out tepid at best, after waiting quite a while. The food was tasty and the fish was cooked well, but, really not worth it.
The food was fantastic, and our waiter - Connor - was outstanding! He was friendly, professional, and gave excellent suggestions!
Went looking for lobster in Boston and found it! Paired with crab cakes and a good bottle of wine opened by the somalie. A great combination of good food and service. A bit noisy but I guess it’s because of so many guests even on a Thursday.
Amazing meal, service was great. Sat outside on a gorgeous night.
Somewhat busy for lunch, good for a meeting
Wonderful seafood. Oysters and tuna, can’t beat it.
Excellent food. Excellent service.
Overall the food and service were very good. The hostess was very accommodating. Good location.
Host was very accommodating and friendly
Sat us at the quiet table as requested
Since it was a business / friend lunch the server was helpful in taking the Order asked how it was then led to us to conversation without interruption only to take plates and ask us if Dessert was possible
Had a great lunch waiter and host thanked us for coming
Food was great
This was our third visit over three years. We had higher expectations. The service was limited, the Branzini disappointing (Bones and overcooked almost to the point of being mushy), and the Haddock with Crab? was cooked to the point of being dry. The fruit (peach) cobbler was delicious, but the Boston Cream Pie was all custard and very disappointing. All in all, it was mediocre at best and not worth the time or money.
La comida y el servicio fueron excelentes, también lo fue el ambiente. Recomiendo los scallops
Food was very good but service was extremely slow. Arrived for lunch at 11:30am and didn't order until noon.
"Award winning" clam chowder was good but not stellar. The potatoes were mushy (overcooked, obviously) and the clams were a bit chewy (again...). The fried oysters app was delicious as were the calamari (although could have used a few more tentacles). Crab artichoke dip was served in a bread bowl (which is not described on the menu) and we would have skipped it if we'd known.
Lunch mains were very good: fresh salmon and fresh bream were really good. As were the sides (brussels sprouts and sweet potatoes and fries).
Overall, a good lunch!
Manager and staff are amazing. Food was excellent!
Loved the cozy ambiance. This is not a quick meal. You have chance to enjoy the different courses. We loved the tuna tartare. Calamari fried, was good. For mains we had scampi, crab crusted haddock, lobster risotto, and fish/chips and all were excellent. Recommend
We were celebrating our friend’s retirement! It was a wonderful evening. Great service and food!
Excellent staff and management! Food was outstanding
Our meals were amazing and exceeded all expectations! We will definitely be back!
Morgan was fantastic!!!!
On a beautiful afternoon we reserved a 2:15 pm lunch at Atlantic Fish Co on Boylston St. We arrived earlier than expected at 1:50 pm however, the manager was happy to seat us at the perfect place on the patio as we requested within a couple of minutes. It was buzzing inside and out with people.
Our waitress was very pleasant, efficient and knowledgeable about every dish on the menu as well as the cocktails. She never rushed or pressured us.
The yummy bread basket was filled with several varieties of crusty white, nut/fruit loaf and petite blueberry muffins with a soft whipped butter.
My husbands dark and stormy was perfect as was his meal. He ordered Grilled swordfish, his choice of sides were steamed new potatoes and corn pudding. We both HIGHLY recommend you try the corn pudding as it was fabulous!
I ordered a Bloody Mary that was freshly made (not a premix) and Grilled Seafood Medley with chopped vegetables, feta cheese, avocado and toasted pepitas in a lemon thyme dressing. It was not only beautifully presented but absolutely delish. I would even order this again, and I always like to try something different at every dining establishment.
We honestly thought it was one of the best lunches, at the perfect location, with the most friendly manager and waitstaff we've experienced to date. When I stated this to the manager I think he was pleasantly surprised. It made us wonder how often do diners thank restaurant staff for good service and wonderful meals? I try to do so every time we have a nice experience and I hope others do as well.
I had a fabulous dining experience. The service, food, and ambiance was over the top. I took my teenage nephew who is a 'Gourmet' foodie for his first time. He absolutely loved the Ahi Tuna and I had the Swordfish which was delicious. The Chef was kind enough to prepare with the Pistachio Pesto on the side.
We will return again and again - I Highly recommend.
My wife and I love this restaurant.
To be fair, we arrived much earlier than our reservation and the staff did cheerfully accommodate us, the overall experience was average. We sat. The waiter was very busy and we felt rushed. Here’s your (fill in the blank), I’ll be right back was the mantra for the night. Dirty plates were occasionally removed but stuff just piled up. Our bill for 2 adults and one 13 year old well behaved kid was 300 bucks. For that, I expected to feel as if it were special. The food was average for the area and the service was on par for a busy “greasy spoon”. Been in Boston for a week now. Dining out 3 meals a day. I was hoping this would be the highlight of the trip. Sadly disappointed.
We were celebrating a birthday and had a horrible meal. There was a hair in my fish. Mussels were super fishy and smelled. Our waiter was arrogant and was more concerned about watching the baseball game than waiting on our table. They did comp our entrees and we instead ordered a crab dip to share, which was excellent. Not a favorite anymore
Food was good , waiter I think his name was Bobby was nice also
Best clam chowder in the world!!!
All good except we sat 20 minutes before a server came to our table with water, menus or for a drink order. Out server’s fingernails were dirty as well.
Great food on a rainy day
Great food and service.
Try the sea bass, it is excellent. The only thing that was not great was the hostess, she did not seem to care. The food and service table was excellent.
Great lobster dinner! 3 pounder was magnificent looking and tasting! Wine pick, perfect. Service friendly and efficient. Make reservations . It gets packed.
First class all the way!
Second time visit for lobster. The lobster was above the average but not as good as the one I had last time. The fried oyster was juicy but a little bit salty. So did the steam mussels. Crab cake really surprised me. It was the best crab cake I had.
