Good food. Good menu. We were 20 minutes early for our reservation but they were able to seat is, which was good because the bar was packed! We order the lobster feast for two and split a Caesar salad. they brought the two salads I had to remind them we we're splitting one. They had already sit for us and both plates were full! Bread was excellent with salted butter. Good salad, good chowder, great lobster, clams, corn and potatoes. We opted for extra clams instead of mussels and could barely finish all the food. Nothing's cheap but all was delightful! Would recommend!
Excellent food, especially the fresh bread!
Entertaining out of State visitors. Great meal, great service and atmosphere.
Excellent food and service.
Food is always excellent. I highly recommend the blackened scallop salad and the lobster roll.
A very pleasant evening, great attention by Edwin on the service side, the food was exquisite the champagne perfect. My fiancé and I appreciated the warm welcome and attentiveness.
While dining this evening asked waiter to put our business receipts for 3 couples on three separate bills each indicating 2 guests. Meal was delicious until bill came and two receipts showed 2 guests and third showed 1 guest. We reexplained what we needed, manager came over and left trying to make third receipt show 2 guests. There were six of us. She could not do this, became unfriendly and ended up reringing the third couple and still couldn’t get it to read 2 guests so took a salad, not a meal salad, off the bill and it worked but now we had four receipts and fourth was salad and 1 guest ?? Which probably will not be reimbursed. The friendly atmosphere changed, she was no longer friendly and we left with stares from the staff after spending a few hundred on dinner meals, dessert, coffee and a bottle of wine. We explained what we needed up front. We always visit here when we come to Boston but think it’s time to find another favorite restaurant.
Very nice dinner. Great ambiance and prompt, sharp service. A must when visiting Boston.
The food was A M A Z I N G!! Took my family out to dinner for my dad’s birthday and we had a nice night. It was a little crowded and a little loud but we got over it. Connor, our waiter, was so sweet. Highly recommend if you’re looking for some quality seafood and service.
Good food. Good service.
The service was great ! We had steamers, oysters and fried clams which were very well prepared . I believe this is the best seafood restaurant in town.
My go-to for business lunch and dinner. Does not disappoint, especially the haddock dish!
Great location with a great atmosphere.
Service was super and Seafood on point!
Very generous portions!!
My husband and I dined at the Atlantic Fish while at a conference in Boston. We thought the entire experience from start to finish was great! Wish we could eat there often.
Tony was the best server ever!
Food and service was terrific
We live in New Orleans and fine dine a lot and while in Boston we ate at this restaurant twice because it was that good. The fish is fresh every day and the clam chowder was fabulous. I highly recommend this place. We would definitely eat there often if we lived there.
Dinner and service was excellent. Tons of food, we had lobster feast. Had mentioned on yelp that it was our anniversary. Restaurant never acknowledged it. That and a couple of minor service lapses kept them from a 5 star.
Pretty quick service,
Would definitely return
Food was delicious. Service was friendly. Comfortable booth and good air conditioning on a hot day. Price was a bit high, but meal was quite good.
Superb in all respects. Why this restaurant doesn't more regularly show up on the ten best for Boston really mystifies me. Best scallops I think I've ever had.
Service was very good.
Prices were tourist level high.
Food was good but not special. Clam chowder was good. Lobster was lobster. Muscles were a bit over cooked and clams were “dirty and gritty” still. Poor wash job. Tons of food on the combo $92 or $96 shares lobster platter.
So for a $175 meal with drinks, not really good enough.
The food was phenomenal! Our waiter had great recommendations!
Great food and service. Definitely fresh seafood. Some more local catch would have been exceptional
Food is good. Service is good. Place won’t disappoint.
We had lobster ravioli and sea bass for entrees - the food quality was excellent and portions generous for the entrees. The goat cheese salad was unimpressive. Had to search for three beet slices that were sliced so thin they seemed shaved. The goat cheese was heavily breaded and greasy, as though cooked earlier and left to sit under a warmer. It was a flavorless, uninteresting salad. The warm bread basket with sea salt butter was delicious and came with beverages right away. Service was attentive. We were seated a a small table in the rear of the restaurant, and it was so overbooked my back was basically at the table behind us. They booked a few too many reservations, which turned a special celebration into dueling conversations, which was unfortunate.
Always excellent. Fresh food prepared simply and always delis ious. Not fancy, just done right.
Great service - spectacular food
The food was excellent and the seafood selection was outstanding! The timing for bringing our wine was a little late while they brought our main course before we were even done with our appetizers. Service could have been better, though our waitress was very helpful and friendly.
It was a great place, service was good, food was very good. It was very loud, and the tables are very close together. We did not feel rushed, went there with my family of six, four children and two adults, they were very accommodating.
Amazing food and service
I've been coming here for several years every time I am in Boston. I love the atmosphere, the food and the service. Pricey but worth it.
My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary. We could not have picked a better place. When we arrived, our table was ready and waiting for us. Dinner was impeccable, The Lobster Risotto was the BEST I have ever tasted. The waiter was outstanding. We would rank this up to one of the best meals we have had.
Everything we had was delicious. We ordered clam chowder, scallops appetizer, a lobster w/added crab, filet with shrimp & lobster risotto. We had the key lime pie for dessert. It was all great. The chowder is fantastic.
We have been several times but this time ask if they could prepare haddock baked which is not listed on menu and the wide dishes were excellent. They also accommodated my husband getting 3 oysters instead of 6 because I don’t eat them. Great waitress and food.
Great seafood/portions and service. They have fried oysters which is not so easily found in Boston. Kids menu also had great options. I would certainly return if I am back in Boston.
We had a wonderful time! Our waiter was warm & friendly and recommended a great bottle of wine! I enjoyed lobster risotto and it was to die for. My husband loved the catfish. The ambience was comfortable, yet fancy. I would highly recommend this restaurant!
Outstanding as always. Best seafoodrestaurant in Boston!
We were able to get an outside table although we had not reserved one. Wait staff was excellent as was food. Only odd thing is that restrooms were down stairs and it was not clear if there was an elevator for someone who might need it
Awesome on all counts
