Exceptional service, cozy restaurant! Highly recommended
Our son was in from LA on business and staying nearby.
Our table was ready as soon as we arrived. We were greeting politely by the hostess and given a choice of booth or table. Our waiter, Nicholas, was available but not hovering. We really enjoyed light banter with him. He really enhanced the dining experience. We ordered San Francisco Cioppino and broccoli rabe. It was heavenly. There was plenty of seafood in the cioppino, including a 1/2 lobster. For dessert we had the key lime pie. It was the perfect ending to a perfect meal.
Everything was just good. No excitement, no wow, but very good. If you search for classic dinner restaurant with good choice of seafood and big portions- that’s for you.
Very good dinner in the heart of Boston giving you understanding of classic New England cuisine.
I took 4 guests from Tempe, Arizona and Toronto. They were so impressed and loved the whole experience and the food! They were particularly enthralled by our waiter (Edwin, I think) and said they could listen to him describe the seafood all night.
The broiled seafood salad was delicious. Our waiter was accommodating and paid just the right amount of attention to us. All in all, a very pleasant experience.
Always a special treat to have dinner at Atlantic Fish. Our server, Randy, did a great job throughout dinner. The maitre d’ stopped by our table to make sure we were happy with everything. My husband and I shared the wild Maine Belon oysters, crab cake appetizer and grilled salmon. I am sorry I did not try the whole Dover sole that was a special the night we were there. It looked fantastic! Thanks again for a delightful evening at Atlantic Fish.
Surpassed expectations by a long way. The sea bass was perfectly cooked with lobster sauce. The blackened swordfish the best my son has ever eaten.
One tip - unless you are super hungry don’t go for a starter - amazing flavoured carpaccio and also calamari but we couldn’t finish either.
Great food plus good people watching (we had someone near to us at the bar who had clearly been taking something mind altering but she didn’t stay long after we arrived) - it all made for a fantastic evening
Outstanding service !! Waitress was exceptional and attentive. The food was out of this world.
The service was brilliant. From the entry to the table service. The food was delicious. Each of us loved our food. I had the Cioppino . It was so wonderful with every imaginable shellfish. Including lobster, shrimp, scallops, clams and fish all in a saffron sauce. Lots of onions. I will definitely be back.
Always a great dining experience. It’s a favorite restaurant for us. Make reservations though as it’s always busy.
You'll never get a bad meal at Atlantic Fish Co. Excellent Food. #2 award winning FishnChips in Boston, and fast friendly, service; elegant tables. Seafood is expensive, but what isn't? Great place. Luv this place. We always come here for any family celebration. Never disappointed!
Yummy food in a nice ambiance
AFC is not inexpensive, but you will leave feeling like you got more than your money’s worth. The food and service is first rate!! I love this place!
Outstanding seafood - perfectly cooked & seasoned. Red sangria super, as were our appetizers of ne clam chowder and lobster chowder. Second time we’ve had our waiter, Glenn, who is exceptional - very knowledgeable of the menu with great suggestions. Will be back again!
Amazing staff, amazing food, couldn’t have asked for more.
Great food and service. Really enjoyed the seafood tower. All so fresh and delicious.
I've had good lunches at Atlantic Fish. Relaxed, not rushed, good food.
Our five year wedding anniversary
Drove from Montreal to Boston
Great food, ambience and service (Daniel)
Outstanding as always
The food was absolutely amazing. The filet mignon was cooked perfectly and very very tender. Everything was very fresh tasting and we will always visit here whenever we we in Boston.
Cocktails, wine selection and our 3 entrees were delicious, perfectly cooked and presented. The service was helpful with the menu and attentive. We would specify a table next time further from the kitchen and likely where fewer children are dining for a better adult experience. Desserts not the best, but we have very high standards for key lime pie and cheesecake.
First time dining at Atlantic Fish- we’ll be back for sure! Everything was amazing from the staff to the food and service. Great location too!
Always amazing here! Best food around and best staff
Food was wonderful, service was excellent. Will definitely be back my next time in Boston!
Holiday meal with the family.
Great New Year's Day dinner at Atlantic Fish, we come here every year for a New Year's Day tradition and have never been disappointed. Wonderful staff, professional and friendly.
We usually love Atlantic fish but the haddock was really dry unfortunately and our server didn’t check back to see if I needed another cocktail. I got the sea bass and it was amazing. But for the price I would have expected the food to be on point
We live in the neighborhood and love dining at Atlantic Fish
We enjoyed the food indeed as well as our whole evening in this restaurant. The place was bustling, and we even had to wait a little despite the booking we had made in advance. It was a New Year's Eve, and otherwise the service was very friendly and celebration centered.
We had oysters, lobster and scallops. All food tasted very fresh. We liked oysters, though to my taste First encounter oysters tasted rather delicate and sweet while Belon had a more expressed and a little sharper taste. Entrees were cooked to that right point were they were already not raw but still soft and juicy. Sause that went with lobster termidor was a good balance of flavours which accompanied the taste of lobster itself but not suppressed it.
Scallops had a pure and delicate taste, and we could choose two sides to go with the dish.
We also liked wine and especially moscato asti as an alternative to prosecco. This moscato is softly sweet, and we preferred this taste that evening.
The dinner went very well and had indeed that feel of speciall occasion which New Year's Eve definitely is. Overall we left being content and glad with our choice for that evening.
Our server, Chris, really made our New Year's Eve great. He was fun and helpful, and gave great suggestions. This was our second time here, and I highly recommend it.
As always, a perfect night out at Atlantic! Staff was wonderful, dinner was delicious and we will keep going back.
We had dinner New Year's Eve at Atlantic Fish and loved it! Shawn was our waiter and he did a great job making our evening go smoothly. We started with a dozen oysters (Maine Belons and First Encounters) followed by crab cakes, spinach, and rice. Great wine selection. Thanks, Atlantic Fish, for a wonderful start to our New Year's Eve celebration!
One of the best meals I've had a very long time. We will return many times. I just wish they had more locations.
Never disappoints. The food and service are always excellent. Especially all the lobster dishes!
We went to the Atlantic restaurant for New Year's Eve dinner, and the food was great. Our Server Shawn was very nice and helped with food choices that pleased our young toddler! Great atmosphere, food and service overall.
We eat at Atlantic Fish most every New Years Eve because the food is very good and we can catch the parade and fireworks afterwards. The only issue I have is that its very expensive. Dinner for 4 with an appetizer, two cups of chowder, a caesar salad, a couple drinks each was About $350. IMO the best dish on the menu is the pan seared sea bass with lobster ravioli and spinach. I get it every year and its excellent. The only complaint i had was my caesar salad was too heavily dressed. My wife had the crab crusted haddock and thought it was really good. One daughter had the fishermans pasta and the other had linguini with clams and both loved their dishes. The linguini with clams wasnt on the menu but the chef made it for us. To end the meal i had an espresso martini which was excellent and made with real espresso. I wouldnt expect anything less for $13. You cant go wrong with Atlantic Fish as long as you can afford it.
We would recommend this restaurant to our family and friends. For our appetizers we order oysters from the raw bar, and the carpaccio wrapped scallops. It was delicious, paired wonderfully with the cucumber salad. My entree was The lobster risotto. It was delicious and such a great portion. They give you a whole tail and there was a lot of lobster meat. My husband ordered the fresh catch of the day. I forgot what kind of Tuna, but he had gotten it pan seared with spinach and confit garlic, and mashed potatoes for his two sides. He liked his dish a lot as well. It was a long wait for our food, but it was worth it. Servers were extremely friendly and did a great job with us.
Our server, Tony was excellent and the food was delicious. Highly recommend.
The food is delicious. Service is outstanding. My every visit is pleasant and nice. Atlantic Fish, keep doing absolutely great job.
