Went for happy hour. Asked to have the grenadine in a $5.00 cocktail omitted. Server refused. Said it was no longer a happy hour cocktail if it was not put in drink. Had this exact cocktail on previous visits to happy hour- grenadine was not added. Food was not hot. Same issue last time we were there.
Atlantic City Country Club is so beautiful and well kept. I loved the historical value being kept. The food is absolutely wonderful. Our table was at the window with a great view of Atlantic City. I cannot wait to visit here during warmer weather an sit in there outside area.
We just enjoyed another delicious lunch at the Atlantic City Country Club Taproom. This time of year the pickings are slim for a celebration luncheon but the Taproom was beautifully decorated for the holidays and made the perfect venue. Everyone was warm and welcoming. Our waitress was obviously new but was sweet, friendly and accommodating. 1 person got the burger and declared it perfect. The others got the short rib sandwich, which was amazing.
Our family had gone to the Thanksgiving dinner buffet in 2016 and we were all so pleased and enjoyed it so much that we wanted to go back again this year. We had some family from New York also and we were telling them how great the meal was last year so that they wanted to come down too. I can't tell you how disappointed we all were and the food this year. I chose from lots of different things to sample and not one of those choices was eaten. Nothing was of the caliber of last year. Then I tried several desserts and tasted them all but could not eat any of them. I feel sure that there was a different chef this year or the suppliers were different.......otherwise I can't account for the difference in the food. We certainly won't be back next year and will not recommend it to anyone we know.
My wife and I have been there several times and also have taken friends there. Can’t beat their prices and food is so far above restaurants they compete with. We like Thursdays because bottles of wine are 50% off. Anything from pizza to prime rib and seafood. Get your butt there, you will be happy you went.
I really wanted to sit outside but they were setting up for a private event that didn't start for 3 more hours. The manager let us dine outside before the party started! The most spectacular view from outside! Quiet, relaxing, great food! Everyone was so nice and accommodating. Our server Becky treated us like we were her only guests and made us feel special. It was my first time and I will definitely be back.
Very good food. My husband and brother thoroughly enjoyed the veal chop topped with a delicious salad. My friend's filet was done to perfection and my prime rib was also. Plus it was so big, I had enough for my dinner the next night. The vegetables were also perfectly cooked with just the right amount of crispness

It was so loud that we could not hear anyone talk, even if we shouted. The servers are extremely inexperienced and are more suited to a dive bar than a country club. The band in the banquet room was so loud that it drowned out most of the club. The food was over cooked and not very hot. This WAS our go to place but not after this visit. We will miss the Club.
Waited 45 minutes to be seated- in a booth too small for our family (we took it as it was the only option). 2 parties seated before us- seemed like they waltzed right in.
Staff chasing their tails all night. Extremely loud. Our server did his best to get our food quickly as he saw us waiting. Water never refilled.
Quite crowded for a Sunday night. manager comped our drink order since we were waiting a while before anyone came to our table(even though we didn't complain)
The food,although took a very long time to come out, was very good. My husband and brother had the Frenched Veal chop and said it was excellent. My fish crusted with crab was also very good. Done perfectly.
Great staff! We were attended to nicely. My first choice on the menu was not available but aside from that all was very good. Would have loved to have sat out on the patio however working at country clubs my entire life I understand and the situation is usually a matter of time and date on that one. Overall very happy and so were my guests
Went during Happy Hour. One of the Best Happy Hour Menus in the Area. The $5 food choices were awesome. We tried all but 1 on the menu. Each was just as good or not better than the last one we tried. At least 5 or 6 different Martini choices along with beer specials!
Well Worth checking out! The service was Excellent also!
