Food was excellent as always, our waiter seems like he was rushing us and our main course came before we finished our appetizers, sat in the Bar section and everything else was A+
Have been going to AFM for 25+ years and has always been a favorite. Space is looking a lworn; need refurbishing. Quality of the fish is good however preparation on this particular night was not up to par.
Hello! Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your visit. We'll be getting some interior renovations next month. We hope you'll visit again soon to give us another opportunity at the five-star experience we know we can offer you. Thank you!
Superb shrimp cocktail w/ large but not oversized or tough crustaceans & 2 sauces. Crab bisque a bit short on sherry flavor, & martini not cold enough. Broiled snapper very tasty but in my opinion slightly underdone. Great atmosphere & better than average service.
For a restaurant with a wonderful menu, our visit was a total bust. My mussels were mushy, the sea bass had limited flavor and the service was indifferent. Truly, Pano's worst restaurant.
The food is always delicious! It’s expensive, but the value matches the price. Our service started slow, but she got better. Really enjoy Atlanta Fish Market!
Everything taster delicious but the waiter wasn’t that great!
First time here The experience was Awsome, the service Awsome
Great food and great service. They are able to run a very large restaurant without making it feel like a large restaurant.
Unfortunately, after ordering and waiting for about 45 minutes, we were told that the kitchen had run out of a few things, and to please place our order again. Not a big deal—it was a busy Friday night. Second time around, we were told that several of our second choices were unavailable as well. Finally, upon the arrival of of our food, my meal was not what I had ordered. At this point, we were ready to make the hour commute back home. We came to celebrate my husband’s birthday, so it was disappointing that the restaurant didn’t live up to the hype, as I was trying to make it a special night for him. I’d like to note that our server comped our appetizers, which was very kind, but for the amount of money that was spent, we left disappointed overall.
The food was overpriced and just honestly not worth the money. Won’t be returning. Server was lovely though
Presentation and taste was excellent. We definitely plan to return. We had whole grilled fish, lobster scampi, and stuffed lobster. All dishes were served hot and portions were ample enough to share.
Great from start to finish. Service and food. Valet could be more efficient
My husband and I were going to dinner for a special occasion. For starters, the valet service was VERY slow at getting cars moved through and so after waiting in a line at 5:15 PM, just to get the car parked, I got out in the road and made my way inside leaving my husband to wait so I could make our reservation. First of all, the restaurant wasn't maxed out inside- so I don't understand why they wanted to seat us in a "half booth, half table" for a special occasion and a reservation? Then our server came over FINALLY - "Anthony" and honestly, after we told him it was our first time visiting the place and that it was a special occasion, most places that are this expensive and have the reputation that they do, would go out of their way to explain the specials, make a lot of suggestions, bu we felt like we didn't have his full attention and while we were ordering, he was looking around. Also, he never offered a cocktail or anything- we asked for an appetizer- the calamari and it was "average" and nothing like the picture someone posted online...we also ordered 2 broiled seafood platters for $48 EACH that came with Salmon, 2 scallops, only 2 shrimp, and 2 sides which were vegetable medley and mashed potatoes. The Salmon was good but again, nothing extra special that would have made me come here instead of Longhorn or Ted's...the Shrimp was like rubber and WAY OVERCOOKED- again not "special", the scallops and lump crabcake were AMAZING just wish there were more since they were really the only DELICIOUS part of the meal- The vegetables were WAY overcooked and soft. At restaurants like these, usually the server will bring out another glass of tea before you even finish the other. Nope. Empty for a good while TWICE. Also, the server forgot to bring the cocktail sauce and hush puppies I had asked for when we ordered. Pappadeaux is hands down way more flavor and better service- AND PRICES! We don't mind paying more at all but not $134 for this!
Been many times... Disappointing- food not so good.
table became messy with crumbs and liquid with no way to get it cleaned up. spinich was too uncooked to try to eat, so 2 of us who ordered it has to leave it on the plate. the waitress was excellent, however. I don't intend to come back.
An Atlanta staple for many years , but definitely showing it’s age . Needs a redo in the worst way . The original flash fried Lonstwr tail . Hopefully they will out some money into it to keep it around for years .
Shrimp had been frozen, waitress was overbearing, Alfredo Sauce was watery
fish was excellant , well prepared. This is our must go to for fresh fish. always a special treat to come here.
Excellent service. I chose a weeknight to avoid a noisy setting and was not disappointed.
There are newer and flashier seafood restaurants, but we keep coming back to Atlanta Fish Market. The waitstaff makes you feel like a regular customer even if its your first time. Warm sourdough bread and butter shows up quickly so you can munch while you peruse the menu. We usually go for fried seafood, but on this visit, we tried the broiled seafood platter, shrimp cocktail, and wedge salad. Absolute heaven, with plenty to take home for lunch the next day. The kitchen knows how to cook seafood-just enough so its not raw but not so much that it gets that rubbery mouthfeel.
The main dining room can get noisy, so we usually ask for a booth in the side room. If its a nice evening, the rocking chairs in front provide a nice way to rest a spell before leaving.
Always great food, always good service. I’ll always come back!
Took my mom here for Mother’s Day and she loved it. Big fan of the crab cakes, salmon and Chilean sea bass
Long wait time despite having g a reservation and very rude and inattentive waitress.
Yes, I would recommend the venue but my concern was with reservation and time. I arrived at 6:21pm for 6:30pm reservation. I was not seated until 7:02pm (ticket stamped 6:59pm). Does it always take 40 minutes--or an extended period of time--to be seated? Thank you.
It’s possible that I will give this place another try. But overall it was not a memorable experience.
Atlanta Fish Market has the most beautiful fish around. Visible in an enclosed display case it is astounding. The multiple preparations never overpower the star. It was Mother’s Day and crowded but we were seated within 5 minutes of our reservation time and had a cocktail within 10. As expected on a packed day, it was a little loud but not unpleasant. This is the best fish restaurant in Atlanta with very reasonable price. I enthusiastically recommend.
Great first time! It was Mother's day very busy but the staff handed the day with excellence. I will return soon.
The only negative to the whole experience was the waiter was sweating so bad that you could see the sweat dripping off his glasses. A huge concern was it may drip onto our food. Luckily for us another person brought us our food and bread. Otherwise we would have requested a manager. The restaurant's temperature was approximately cool as it should be.
The Open Table reservation system was a seamless, organized and efficient process. The seating time was awesome, we were seated ahead of the scheduled time. The Mother's Day dining experience at Atlanta Fish Market was delightful along with the food/service being delicious!
Fantastic food and service.
Good experience, although waitress had too many tables and service was lacking.
Seafood as fresh as one can get in Atlanta. Consistently good.
Excellent job on Mother’s Day. Took my Wife, Mother-n-Law, and Daughter(1st) Mother’s Day, and we had a great time. Excellent service.
Awesome restaurant great fast service $2 vallet
We had reservations at 6:45 pm and at about 7:15 we decided to just wait at the bar. We told the hostess and she agreed to let us know when our table would be available but we ended up having dinner at the bar and no one ever came. Other than that the food was great and the bar service was excellent!!!
Went for my wife’s birthday celebration. Only complaint is I rely on the menus that are online. The menu
For Atlanta Fish Market online had two of our favorite items. My wife loves live whole Dungeness Crab and I have been looking for grilled octopus. When we arrived I went to order for my wife and found out they didn’t have the crab and hadn’t this year. So I ordered the King crab legs which were delicious. I then went to order my octopus, and they had not had this for quite awhile.
I use the information these restaurants supply to open table to pick were I want to go.
Other than the above, it was a good noise experience and very crowded.
For the very high cost the food was just, okay, at best. We've been going there for special occasions for many years but will go elsewhere next time. I don't mind spending the money, but give me a fair value and don't let me feel I was ripped-off. P. Miller
My reservation time was 6 pm and we didn't get seated till almost 7 pm so that was a little annoying. but other than that we had a wonderful time. The food was awesome
As always, Atlanta Fish Market doesn't disappoint. It was a busy Saturday night, but the service and food were impeccable. Love bringing guests to this restaurant!
