Atlanta Fish Market Ratings and Reviews
We went here to celebrate passing our Real Estate Broker exam and I must say that we were more than happy with our choice. Our company Intracoastal Real Estate Group wholeheartedly appreciates our wonderful server, valet and hostess. The food was delicious, get the lobster scampi!
The restaurant had tiles missing from the ceiling over the kitchen area. The food is too pricey for the portions. The spirits were costly for what looked like a small size. The margarita my friend had came in a small glass that didn’t look like it held 8oz.
My experience was horrible. Not only was my server unattentive, but she committed fraud on my credit card. She swiped my card for the wrong amount (honest mistake) but she also refused to provide a void receipt. After checking my statement 2 days later, I also realized that not only did she not void the transaction, but she also gave herself a $35 tip. DO NOT EAT HERE.
Server was amazing but the food left a lot to be desired .. best part of the meal was the calamari and the scallion potatoes. My crabcake was burnt, fried fish and items on the spouses plate were soggy, so much that she couldnt eat it. I ordered the filet and crabcake and upgraded to the larger filet. The price between the 2 on the menu is 6 dollars, yet i was charged 11.... explain that math, please with some logic?
I made reservations before travelling into Atlanta for our anniversary, knowing how much i loved AFM... big disappoint to me...for us. I do not know what has happenned to the "quality" we have come to expect in buckhead lifes restaurant group. To say this was a complete waste of $150 is the truth! It will be a long time before we ever go back.
Poor service from valet. Picked up and returned cars to a location convenient to him, not the customer.
Terrible service from waitress. My husband and I were out for a special dinner. Waitress got our order wrong. Served my husband the wrong entree. It took a long time to get the correct entree. In the meantime, I completed my dinner while my husband sat with nothing to eat.
Once his dinner arrived, I sat and watched him eat.
It was a terrible experience and ruined our evening.
Anytime we visit friends in Atlanta, this restaurant is on our list. Always a great selection and the service is top notch. Best quality seafood I have had in a a long time. Made reservations on Open Table and did not have to wait at all, they had a table ready for the reservation time I had picked. Outstanding meal and service. Highly recommend.
a female white blonde long hair host was not friendly as I handed my opentable paper after i told her I was deaf. we sat on booth near the beautiful fish aquarium. our male white server, Rudy was awesome super nice & helpful with us being deaf. I asked him abt she crab soup & he told us no but there was good crab soup, blue crab bisque. he bought us a sample to taste it & really appreciated the sample to try first before to order. We ordered two bowls of blue crab bisque soup, one shrimp cocktail, two scottish salmon, then keokee coffee with half n half on side & chocolate praline explosion cake. my hubby had his bd cake. It was our first time & loved it but disliked $2.00 plus not included gratuity. We disliked to pay parking to eat. everything were yummy good. Pricey. Oh, by the way, french????? loaf of bread was very good & fresh.
The service was great and the food was delicious, all to be spoiled at the end of our meal. Two tables away from us a party was seated including a dog in a carrier. The dog, still in its carrier was seated at the table in a dining room chair. One of the guest opened the carrier and the dog popped up to be petted and shagged by each of the guest on both sides of its seat. We were disgusted to see a dog sitting at the dinner table where we and other people eat. It was an emotional support animal so it was "okay" and "legal". The Atlanta Fish Market is still a great seafood restaurant so long as you do not mind possibly eating with animals or where animals have had the pleasure of fine dining.
We've been going to Atlanta Fish Market for years and it's always great. We enjoy sitting upstairs in quieter area with family. When it's just the two of us, we sit at the bar and eat. Very lively and bartenders are attentive, although very busy. Highly recommend.
Every bite was delicious! I loved the crab bisque and fresh skate wing. The tiramisu was some of the best I’ve ever had. The server happily allowed us time to linger over lunch and take our time to catch up. The music was louder than we liked but fortunately we sat in the carpeted section. We had a grand time!
