Food was exceptional. We each had one of the featured specials, lobster scampi and sea bass were offered tonight. Fresh, expertly prepared and delicious. Anthony our server was on point- friendly, efficient and professional without being obtrusive.
Great dinner with family. Service was great. Very attentive but not overbearing. Food was served at the appropriate temp promptly. Love this place!!
Wonderful as usual.
Fantastic service, attention to detail and food was perfect. Every time we come it’s always a great dining experience.
This is our third or fourth time here. We come every year for the gift show and our whole crew looks forward to it. So far The Atlanta Fish Market has never let us down.
They have a decent wine selection as well as fun well made cocktails.
They have a great selection of fresh fish and a variety of preparations. We have tried several over the years and have enjoyed them all.
The place is quirky and ambiance quite pleasant.
It’s not inexpensive but overall a good value.
Good seafood, good service and Great desserts!
The seafood was not fresh and poorly prepared. This restaurant is overpriced. We will not be going back.
My ongoing problem is the smell. You have to air your clothes when you get home. Kitchen needs to be vented better. But the quality of the food always wins out.
Great service and super waiter! Cant wait to go back.
Superb food and service. And a much appreciated quiet booth for a hearing impaired diner. Fish is perfectly fresh and perfectly prepared (thanks, Chef Bobby!) All Buckhead Life restaurants are a notch above others in Atlanta. The Fish Market remains a favorite, and can accommodate large parties.
My husband and I flew in from out of town for the weekend and looked up restaurants with the best reviews. I made a reservation for this restaurant because of the 10,000 good reviews on Open Table, but to be honest, the server and ambiance didn’t match the great food. First, the food really was good. I ordered Maui Maui and my husband ordered a crab roll. Both were delicious. The rest of the experience wasn’t as pleasant.
Our server seemed like she didn’t want to be there. She was very disengaged and didn’t have much of a personality. I worked in the food industry for 14 years so I pay attentive to the behavior of the server when they’re away from the table. She was standing around and kept going to the back goofing around with another server. We needed two different things and couldn’t find her to ask for them. I ended up asking another server just so I could finish my meal. The ambiance was loud, very open and bright. The service and settonh didn’t match the quality of food
We went for my wife’s birthday. Everything was excellent! Will go again.
We had a great time. This was our first trip to AFM. And it will NOT be our last.
Always a great dining experience!
Mussels Fra Diavlo crazy, inedibly spicy
Seafood very good. We enjoyed ! Prefer upper level seating. Booth seating needs updating and not as comfortable. All delicious.
I've eaten at this establishment many times and the food is always awesome. Surprisingly enough on this particular visit the start of the day service was extremely slow but management quickly rectified the issue and made sure everything was taken care of. I ove their combat method.
It was lovely.
Made a reservation on Open Table for 6:30. Got there at 6:25. There were plenty empty tables but the hostess asked us to wait in the bar. We waited and waited and waited. By 7, we were still waiting. We were on our way out to door when the hostess finally came to seat us. Food was fine, but not worth enduring slow and indifferent hostess staff.
We were seated in the group room off of the bar, very loud and crowded. Our order was "lost" took a good 50 minutes to get our food, which looked like it was under a heat lamp. Several groups who came in after us received their orders long before ours. Disappointed.
While the food was good, the service was lacking. Restrooms were a mess. 3 out of the 4 stoles were dirty and when I reported this to a staff member, she didnt look like she cared. Our waitress could not hear us. we kept having to repeat our order.
It was too loud to hold a conversation, service was slow, a food was average at best. The comments of my guests were that Red lobster would have been better!
We were seated up on the top level where it’s all glass and while the view was good, it was drafty and cool. The sushi was amazing and so fresh! We both ordered the same lunch entree which was the stuffed grouper. There was very little stuffing and way too many mushrooms. It could have used a little more seasoning overall. The service was great and I would definitely go back for the sushi and try a different entree next time.
Grouper Francese was outstanding!
Food was outstanding, loved the gumbo! Best I've had outside of New Orleans. Husband had the NE Clam Chowder and it was delicious, too.
Highly recommend this restaurant, but go early, as it gets really busy!
Incredibly disappointed with our experience. Food wasn’t worth the price, lacked flavor, wasn’t even hot when delivered to us. We tried 2 different salads, 2 different soups, 3 different apps, and 3 different entrees—all of which were underwhelming.
Excellent seafood and fish
Sorry to give a bad review but the service was poor, the cost high and the food just avarage
Attended AFM for lunch and it was a good experience. Overall the service could have been better but the quality/taste of food was very good. The blackened grouper and Hong Kong sea bass/salmon was bomb af.
Food was good per usual however waiter was very rushed and not ver attentive and warm. Was disappointed that the atmosphere was not more festive considering it was New Year's Eve and the restaurant was packed.
When we arrived at the restaurant, they could not find our reservation. The staff took my name and was able to seat us in a relatively short period of time. The food as always was superb. I highly recommend The Atlanta Fish Market!
Dined at Atlanta Fish Market for New Years. The recommended wine (Cabernet) was a good choice. Very happy with the seafood! I had to get the popular Chilean sea bass dish (hong kong style) and it was wonderful! It was light and flavorful, yet filling and fishy. My friend had the special of the day - chilean sea bass cooked in oil and butter, which was definitely more flavorful than the hong kong style. Both are made with a huge side of sauteed spinach and choice of side. The stuffed lobster was also a must have entree, as it was packed with seafood. Our waiter Jesus was phenomenal; he was attentive and knew the menu well. The atmosphere was on the loud side and very bright, which is why I rate it a 9/10. If you're looking for a romantic, intimate experience, this probably isn't the place; it's more family and friend vibe. Parking is $2 valet and they do accept credit card! Overall - great seafood, bar area, and restaurant!
Very disappointed, we had to listen to a manager argue with customers over a gift card for the better part of 20 minutes while we ate, it was uncomfortable and all around unnecessary. They should have just comp’d the meal instead of ruining everyone’s dinner around them. The customers were upset and the manager only fueled the fire with one theory and or excuse after another. While this circus went on next to us our server disappeared and a drink we ordered finally showed up after 15 minutes from a random server. Very disappointing, we likely will not be back.
Fair service.... Had to ask for garnishes for appetizer and drinks.
Better staff should slow down a little and serve it right. Just irritating for the price but food I very good.
I just can’t believe that on New Year’s Eve at 7:30 they were already out of lobster roll and stuff lobster, very poor planning of the chef. I felt rushed while eating, I haven’t been there in a few years and it was a total disappointment.
We were placed in a side room of the bar and it was so loud we could not hear ourselves. We could not have conversation with our family sitting at the table. Aside from the acoustics of the room, there was a table with 7 kids next to us that were yelling the whole time and the parents did nothing. We asked our waiter if there was anything we could do (either move tables or could he have a manager approach the table and ask them to lower the noise level) and our server said no. It was a horrible dining experience.
