I ordered a filet and fried shrimp. I wasn’t impressed with the taste. The filet had no flavor and tasted burnt. I also was never asked how I wanted it cooked so it was barely medium rare. We ordered an appetizer that was mentioned to us as “crab cakes” but was actually one single crab cake that wasn’t worth $20. When the server brought us our check, it had a total that was our original total minus $50 cash. I asked what that was about (we thought maybe some nice person had given him $50 to help pay for our meal) and he said he made a mistake then brought us our check with the entire total on it. I’m thinking he might have pocketed the $50. Also, we paid with a $200 gift card but still had to pay $10 because for some reason the card only covered $110 even though it said our balance was $89 left. Made no sense. All in all, I was not impressed. My husband got sushi and absolutely loved it. That was the only positive.

Our server was not the most friendly and not attentive at all. Customer service is important to me, especially at places where the food and prices are rated high..
We have been to eat here several times but for some reason this visit was not like the others. The wait to be seated was long even with a reservation (15 -20 mins), the wait to take our order was long (15 - 20 mins) from the time we sat down, server came and gave us menus but didn't come back for 15-20 mins. We didn't have any drinks or bread while waiting for server to come back to table. Didn't even have the support staff like the ones who serve water and bread and clean plates off show up until after we got our meals. We had to stop the server to ask about water and bread. Once the server got our order it still was about 30 mins before we got our food. Just don't remember it taking this long to get seated, food ordered and eating. We sat at our table for over an hour before we got our meal. When we got our food, it wasn't really all that good either. I got the stuffed shrimp, 4 shrimps that were burned on top, shell was burnt but luckily the inside meat wasn't. My wife got the salmon and she said it was nothing spectacular either. Not so sure worth eating there anymore considering you have to add valet parking as well as higher menu prices for food. Probably won't be back for some time unless we hear otherwise that service and food has improved.
We went for dinner to celebrate my husband’s birthday. We had a good time. Food was excellent as well as the service.
We wanted seafood so we decided to go to Atlanta Fish Market. Our server was Danilo and he was awesome from start to finish. He made wonderful suggestions and was very attentive without being annoying. The food came out just as requested!! I had the Chilean sea bass which just melted in your mouth. My husband had the salmon/sea bass combo and was equally pleased. We will be returning soon!!
Just average restaurant a bit over priced made up though by a fantastic waitress.
Wonderful experience! The loud prepping of tables for the next day. Staff member was throwing dishes. I asked her nicely if she could do it more quietly, she obliged! For the price I think it needs an update or at least table clothes. But it was a Wonderful experience!

We were seated in a timely manner. There was a very rude customer next to us that was being extremely hard on our waitress. She did a fantastic job for us and the manager came over to check on us multiple times. The food was amazing and the restruant was very nice. We really enjoyed it and will defintley be back.
Wonderful meal for my out of town family. Glad I had reservations as the place was packed. I was so glad my guests enjoyed the food as much I did. We ordered from all over the menu and everyone commented on how great their dish was. It was a bit noisy as the restaurant was so full, but we still enjoyed our meal and the service. Thank you!
The seafood couldn’t be more fresh and the dishes are just perfect. Our service was also fantastic! My new favorite restaurant. Highly recommend the Asiago potatoes - wow! And the Parmesan crusted salmon was just crazy delicious.

I haven't been in a few years but a lot jas changed. The food used to be amazing and the service used to be on point. Now the food is ok and the service has really fallen off. I'm very disappointed. It used to be a restaurant now it feels like a business if that makes sense.
We received exceptional service from waiter and manager.
(1)We had an 8:15 reservation. Hostess told us it would be a few minutes could we wait in the bar. After 30 minutes we checked with her and she had clearly forgotten us. She was haughty and unapologetic. Short blonde with long hair. Huge attitude problem. (2) the breaded calamari is disgusting and not the top of the line calamari that Buckhead Life is known for...the over-the-top garlic dip was terrible. (3) we ordered 2 King Crab Legs and they came back told us they only had one order. We said we would share...it came with two legs...in the past, there have been two large legs and 2 smaller legs. Further, we had to ask for a 2nd plate to share. BUT THE WORST PART IS THE LEATHER BOOTH THAT HAD DISGUSTING LARGE HOLDS WITH THE STUFFING COMING OUT. Clearly, Buckhead Life isn't interested in maintaining its quality any longer and is resting on its laurels. After years and years of visiting Atlanta Fish Market, we won't be back.

I always enjoy the food at the Fish Market. This time was less crowded, and I enjoyed the quiet.
Loved the efficient service. Food was extremely hot and served with a smile. The prices are high, but the quality of the good stands out, so the prices fit the service and food.
Food was ok, they were out of hush puppies, baked and sweet potatoes. They need to remodel, chairs and booth seats are old and need to be replaced.
I received one of the Buckhead Dining Group summer diner cards so I thought I would give it a try. This card was for Atlanta Fish Market. I had 6:40 reservations. I arrived and they told me it was a 20 minute wait, which kind of defeats the purpose of a reservation. If I did not have the dining card and my son was not looking forward to eating there I would have left as I feel no restaurant is worth waiting for. So we were finally seated. We looked at the menu and I was ready to order when the waitress finally arrived and gave us water. She told us of the specials that were left which made me need to reconsider my order. She stated bread would be out shortly. I had to ask what sodas they had for my son to choose. I asked for lemon for my water. So she leaves. 20 minutes later she finally returns (I had noticed many times that she was not that busy). Again I would have left at this point, but I had the card. I ask her about the bread, she points at another person and states they will be bringing it. We place our order. 10 minutes later, 30 minutes after being seated, our bread finally arrives. My water glass has been empty for a while. I have to ask the bread person if they could get me some lemons. Lemons finally arrive. The place is extremely noisy. I have to strain to hear our server. Food eventually arrives. My son's shrimp platter is a nice size. I have the seafood platter. The food is very good, though I feel my Salmon is under cooked, but it was still quite good. The crab cakes were delicious. My water glass was empty too much of the time. In my opinion they are either understaffed or under trained. Too much of the time the servers were busy wrapping silverware in napkins instead of checking on their customers. I now have a card for Bistro Niko, I hope that experience will be better.

Even though we had a reservation , the place was packed and we still had to wait over half an hour. We were seated at the bar. It was so noisy that we couldn't hear our server and at times couldn't talk to one another
My husband and I have visted many times, always having an excellent experience. We went on Father's Day and had a terrible experience. We never got bread until we tracked someone down, they brought the appetizer with the meal and it was a very small portion at that. My son's potatoes had a skin on top after sitting before being brought to the table. They were sent back. I had to remind the waitress to bring a new portion back. Someone took my sushi roll so I had to wait a while for my meal. It just seemed that our waitress was out of sorts or something. The meal was $135 (with tax). Now, I did speak to the manager and explained our experience and he adjusted the bill to $96, $104 with tax. We will go back as we enjoy the food, but this was just not a good experience.

Be prepared to wait even though you have a made a reservation.
Over the years, Atlanta Fish Market has been a go-to-choice for celebrations for our family. However, this Father's Day, the experience was sub-par, especially for a Buckhead Life restaurant. Our 6p reservation wasn't seated until 6:35p. The bread was served late and cold. They forgot the side dishes with our order. And the sushi wasn't fresh. We were very disappointed in the experience.

I have dined at this restaurant many times before and took my father for Father's Day (it was his first time). Our server was new, as he had only been there approximately 2-3 weeks. We had to wait about 20 minutes before he came over to greet us and provide us with water. Between taking our drink and food orders, there were long periods of absence - we did not see him walking around and we were just left there sitting. Another server walked by and noticed that we had not yet received water and brought us some water. My dad became frustrated because everyone else around us was receiving their food before us. The food and the service did not match the price that I paid. Unfortunately, my father's experience was not the best one.

It was disappointing that they were already sold out of Lobster Rolls at 1:15 pm. I wish the chef would have accommodated more patrons since it was father's day and it is one of my husband's favorite dishes.
My husband ended up with the Grouper Francese. He said the vegetables with the dish were the best mix of seasoned veggies he ever had. I got the Shrimp Stuffed with Crab. It was delicious. The pasta accompaniment was great! The kids chicken tenders were fried a little too hard. Our Grandmother and other child got the fried shrimp. They both enjoyed their dishes.
Overall a good dining experience.
