We had a fantastic waitress who was very attentive to the needs of us 5 ladies and went out of her way to make our experience a memorable one (including the birthday dessert!). The hostess at the door is to be commended also for he friendly manner. I will be back!
The service is fast, the who dat fries are amazing! The fried pickles are some of the best I have had. My boyfriend loves the Jambalaya and orders it everytime.
Great place. Very tasty food and great craft beer. I want to go to all 3 locations now!
We are suddenly regulars here. The food is that good. Sometimes when you order something at a restaurant and it’s really good you never seem to wanna order anything else or try anything different on the menu but here everything that we’ve tried has been so good there’s no worry in trying some thing else. The drunken pork tenderloin medallions is really good. Even the chicken fingers are really good. The shrimp and grits is a little different and it’s excellent I love it. Their salads have been great. But I got to tell you my husband loves the salmon here he said it’s probably some of the best salmon prepared he’s ever had served to him. He orders salmon a lot ! That says a lot! I love that they are on open table so we can open 1 app & click click click to make a reservation .
My husband and I love the brunch at Atkins! Such a good well rounded menu, with plenty of options. Mimosas were so good! We will definitely be coming back.
Had a very enjoyable business lunch. Would absolutely go there again and recommend it to others.
Disappointed. My pancakes were burned on the side facing down, tiny portion of bananas, no butter and very little syrup. I had to go back out front to explain since I couldn’t find my waiter. My guest had an omelette that was barely warm.
The food was good. Especially the trout.
The service was good although we did have to ask for water a couple of times. My husband liked the short ribs too. Would go back. The peanut butter biscuit bread pudding was amazing. The frozen key lime dipped in chocolate was ok. Probably won't order it again, but I am sure others would disagree. I make key lime pie all the time so I prefer my own. Over all it was a good casual restaurant.
Really enjoyed brunch. Will definitely be back. Lovely experience
This is my second time eating here and it is still one of the best. It can get a little loud in the dinning area (mostly wood and stone) but it's not a deal breaker.
Would dine there again.
Great good and service.
Solid day lace to eat. Great upscale bar food.
We have decided that we love this restaurant & are adding it to our go to list. This visit we ordered the fried green tomatoes topped with pimento cheese . This time the fried green tomatoes were still warm so that was way better than the previous visit. They were still good but any fried food is way better when served still warm.
Then my husband ordered the Caesar salad & I ordered the green goddess house salad they were both delicious.
This time I went with what I originally had thought I’d try on the previous visit & it was delicious! The shrimp & grits. Perfect combo & preparation & serving size. My husband loved the salmon so much the previous visit he reordered it again & loved it just as much.
We really have enjoyed our meals here & love the location.
Wow. I didn’t know this gem was in the neighborhood. My first time there and it was wonderful. Great appetizers, Entree s, and dessert! The beignets were as good as those you get in New Orleans. The prices makes this the beat value around for delicious food. We were slightly overdressed but now we know that shorts and tennis shoes are okay. We’ll back!!!!
We have water damage in our kitchen so we are unable to use it at the moment and we have been discovering all the local restaurants around us that we never tried before we’re five years into the neighborhood but we really haven’t tried very many places until now.
This restaurant looks delicious everything that we tried was wonderful
My husband and I shared the fried green tomatoes after reading the reviews they did not disappoint.
We split a Caesar salad it was great.
I ordered way too much but it was delicious I ordered the pork tenderloin with the grits it was very tasty I just couldn’t eat all that , way more than half came home with me, I should have ordered the shrimp & grits. Next visit I’ll be trying that dish.
My husband ordered the salmon & risotto & he said it was delicious! We are very happy to have discovered this restaurant now. We will be back, frequently. There was quite a few items we want to try on the menu.
We always enjoy the food here. Crawfish Thursdays are the best!
Great food! Generous portions even the cups are huge !! Lauren was our waitress and she was awesome 🤩
Mother’s Day Dinner was great.
We had a noon reservation, we were seated but had to wait over 10 minutes before the waitress come over. She wasn’t that friendly. She rushed all, didn’t write down order. We both had burgers, had things on plate that we both said to leave off. They both were missing lettuce. When I requested some for both, it was a joke, two little pieces of lettuce for both burgers. This was my Mother’s Day lunch with my son. If was our first time here. Might try dinner if ever in the area . But will for sure not get that waitress again.
Very friendly staff and atmosphere.
Excellent food and service.
Its a great little place with really good food. Cajun inspired dishes with a great atmosphere.
Food & service were great. We will definitely return.
As always, we had a great experience and enjoyed the food. The waffle maker was out, but the bananas fosters pancakes were amazing. We wouldn’t have ever tried them and I’m happy it worked out.
My only suggestion is that they expand their brunch drink list to go beyond the standard Bloody Mary and mimosas.
The drunken pork was delicious! Gumbo was tasty. Raw oysters delicious and filling. Service very good.
I didn't taste Wasabi in the Wasabi grits. My mashed potatoes were bland. The fried tomatoes were great. My two friends enjoyed their pasta entrées. Next time I'll try something different.
Great atmosphere and food. Service was excellent and the overall experience was very good. We’ll be back soon.
Service was slow. Ordered and app and never got it. Main entrees weren’t right. But when I did get the correct food it was delicious.
We were in the indoor area right before the covered outdoor dining and it was freezing! When we left we walked through the covered outdoor area and it was warmer in there because they had heaters! Everything else was great but it was hard to relax being so cold! They should shut the doors going to the outdoor patio to keep the heat in.
Love Atkins Park! Food and service is always good!!
Oysters & steamed dumplings were fantastic! Entrees were really good! Great service!
First time back in a long while. Food was back to it’s deliciousness. She-crab soup was so good I almost licked the bowl. Chat-grilled and half-shelled oysters were yummy. Wish the char-grilled were cooked a little less so they were a bit more filled with the garlic/cheesy butter.
Went to Atkins Park because of the outdoor seating. As I am from New Orleans, I was happy to learn it is a New Orleans-style tavern. With that said, everything was very good. Although the Southern Fried Chicken could have used a bit more seasoning and the Drunken Pork Tenderloin was a little overcooked, the flavor of the pork was phenomenal. I would definitely order both dishes again. The Char-grilled Oysters are a must have! Another must have are the beignets! They are truly authentic! Do not deny yourself!
I look forward to visiting this establishment real soon for the crawfish boil and other delicious menu items!
Love this restaurant. Food was great. The dozen oysters were enjoyed by my wife but I felt $28 was too much.
Waiter, John was great.
The food, service and atmosphere are excellent! Portions are plentiful and the food is flavorful. Servers are friendly and knowledgeable but neither absent nor hovering. Prices are reasonable. This place is a wonderful reflection of the founder, Warren Bruno. Too bad Broccoli isn't around to greet guests...
Lovely restaurant with excellent food. Highly recommend.
Atkins is the best restaurant in Smyrna, they always have the best service and best food. I would eat here everyday if I could.
Excellent gem in the heart of Smyrna! Great food and even better service!
Valentine's dinner during COVID at 6 pm. First time at this restaurant and it was not crowded at all - a bit surprising for Valentine's. Ample parking available. Regular menu items available but not a lot of options. Special Valentines menu was extremely limited with only one choice for two but we went for it. Ribeye steak and crab cake - singular. Means sharing one plate between you and your valentine....came with a blob of rice and 5 asparagus spears. It was OK but wife did not care for the spicy crab cake. Steak was cooked medium rare as ordered and delicious.
The Apple Pecan Pie Cobbler dessert was the low point of the entire meal - apples were crunchy (not cooked to my liking) and it was supposed to be salted caramel which I seemed to miss. Other options for the Chocolate-Peanut Butter Biscuit Pudding (now that's really Southern) or the New Orleans Style Beignets would have definitely been a better choice.
The dining area was comfortable with overhead propane style heaters in the covered outdoor patio area with the clear vinyl window coverings. Other guests were seated per COVID protocols - over 6 feet away and the room never did full during our 2 hour meal. Other dining sections were similar.
Lastly, the music playing in the area designated for the Valentine's customers was really loud, genre not entirely appropriate for the event and we requested it be turned down so we could hear ourselves talk with normal tone. The server accommodated for a brief period then it was turned up not too long after.
All in all and based on what I saw on the menu - I'd make a return visit to try some of the other food choices.
Atkins Park was amazing, such a hidden gem, the food was delicious, the waiter was warm and friendly, we thoroughly enjoyed this dining. We will be back.
