Come for a great dining to experience love at first taste!
We really enjoyed our brunch here! We had a mixture of brunch orders and lunch menu items- all way enjoyed! Service was great as well. Would definitely come back here again!
Awesome experience. The service is outstanding with a personal touch. Nice place to host a large group.
Tried Elm Street because they took reservations. But I don't know why they do because we weren't seated for 35 minutes after our on time arrival.
Place is more bar than restaurant. '80's wood tables and benches.
Certainly do not go when its colder than 45 degrees out because every time the door opens the whole place feels the cold. Most women and many men were eating with their coats on.
Service was less than good.
Not on my list of restaurants in Greensboro to eat at (again).
Food was pretty good, but we had to wait over 30 minutes even with a reservation. Also there was no non-alcoholic beers whereas almost all restaurants with a bar/lounge offer 1-2 non-alcoholic options now. I cannot have alcohol right now due to health issues.
We will be back as there are several interesting options on the menu to try. Also the staff was great!
First time going with my wife for Valentine's Day and the service was top notch. The food was really good too. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu and gave us some good suggestions.
Our service was excellent! Our waiter was attentive and made great suggestions. Every person in our party of 7 enjoyed his/her food immensely. I would highly recommend this place!
It is a great place to dine. We are able to get a reservation which is hard in most of the Greensboro restaurants.
The service was good & the restaurant itself was nice but the food was just ok.
This was our third visit and the only regret is that we didn't find Elm St Grill sooner. The food and the staff are awesome! Elm St Grill is definitely on our "repeat" list!
Casual atmosphere with excellent food from many cultures and a good wine selection.
The food was AMAZING the service was horrendous on several levels. My husband had to twice get up and find people to help us (ie he didn't get his martini - his first and only drink- until AFTER we finished our appetizer. But there were more examples. It was sad. I have NEVER not tipped 20 percent and was going to after this visit but they automatically tacked on a 20 percent tip, go figure.
Terrific service - friendly, attentive and prompt. Setting is fine, there are lots of TVs over the bar and the restaurant had a nice vibe to it. My family thought the food was decent but not as good as we were hoping for given the reviews. We started with the cauliflower in the sweet chili sauce; that ended up being the highlight of the meal for me as the sauce was excellent. The bison burger wasn't particularly juicy and had a bit more of a gamey taste than we prefer in bison burgers (although the fries were very good), the chicken stir fry and the country shrimp skillet were also good but not great. Same with the rockslide brownie with ice cream.
Smooth experience food could of been a little better but it was a nice Restaurant
Nice place. Very fair prices. Good Food. We have been hitting this place off an don over the past few years. They are consistent in quality and price. No big surprises, ever. It was New Years Eve and we had reservations.
The service at first was very slow. I think they were understaffed for New Year’s Eve. However the food was amazing.
Very good food and Sarah did a great job taking care of us. We will definitely return!
Food is just great. Have eaten here twice with family and every dish has been delicious.
Very nice dinner and the waitress was very good.
Christmas get together
Chicken Tikka Misala was very flavorful, even at medium spicy. Think hard before getting it spicier - I cant imagine what the ‘homeland security’ level of spice means.
Limited wine menu but nice neighborhood bar.
The ambiance was great, along with the avocado turkey club. Ravi and his staff made my wife’s early birthday dinner special, with the message on the plate chocolate cake.
I recommend going on non-peak restaurant hours to better enjoy the ambiance without all of the people. I booked after lunch, I was amazed at all the people that exited the restaurant as we pulled it.
The service was very attentive without the classic,” is everything okay” routine.
I very highly recommend this restaurant and I have a formal education in food service and are very picky.
Excellent service, excellent food! Highly recommend!
Great service, however food quality was awful and definitely overpriced based on what the quality was
My family of 7 stopped here on our way to a gymnastics meet in Mebane, NC. What a pleasant surprise!! The food was great, the staff was kind and attentive, lots of tv’s so my husband was able to watch Ohio State win. We will definitely stop by if we are in that area again.
We had our company's department luncheon there it was beyond excellent
Rav was our waiter and was outstanding! We talked about the food and service all afternoon.
A party of 6 was served with friendly and efficient service. Each meal was excellent and the ambiance was nice, comfortable and welcoming.
Always wonderful to go to elm street grill for some comfort food. A glass of wine and a chicken Caesar salad restored me to “better than new. “ thank you Ravi and team!
Elm St Grill has become one of my favorite restaurants. It’s locally owned and the owners keep a close eye on everything. The food is excellent even though the menu is quite varied. Service is always good. Love the wall of TVs in the lounge, but they’re invisible when we want a quiet dinner in the main dining area.
ESG is our "go to" every Wednesday when we're in Greensboro. Ravi and his team are exceptional. The food, familiarity, focus on your happiness all make for a truly outstanding visit, every single time. Every restaurant has its hiccups from time to time but I'll just say that I can't recall ONE instance of any hiccup when visiting Elm St. Grill. They seem very proud to know each visitor and if it IS your first visit, they'll remember you on your return visit. We can't say enough good about ESG...other than, it's a hidden gem that's not so hidden anymore, it seems...this past Wednesday every single table was full. WELL DONE, Ravi and team!!!
I recently met a friend that I haven't seen in 18 years. All of the staff from the hostess to the servers were so kind and courteous to us. I mentioned that we might want to talk a while, and they placed us in a very comfortable booth and didn't make us feel rushed. They also kindly took a picture of us. The food, restaurant and location were perfect!
The food is basically bar food. Lots of fried things on the menu. The hamburger was very good, my husband’s turkey burger he said was meh.
Great as always
I was so impressed by the staff and the attention our Birthday Girl received as well as the rest of our party. I will definitely be coming back soon. Food was a great variety and delicious. Portion sizes are large and valued great!
Great service! Good place for a large group as the menu is very extensive and our server was able to highlight options for gluten free, vegan, etc.
Food was extremely salty
I really enjoyed myself. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Me and my friends had never been there and we were happy to have such a great experience. The food was amazing. I think his name was Rafi. He was awesome...so personable and helpful. I would definitely go back.
Repeated visits and always the same great service, and great food. Like coming home.
Very friendly and welcoming staff, and nice decor. Food was excellent, great prices and portions. Get the firecracker shrimp, it was so delicious. A great dining spot when visiting the Elon College campus.
Shrimp with coconut curry. Not good at all. Coconut sprinkled ion top of the dish and way too much sauce. The basamati rice was clumped together.
My daughter had a cheese burger and she said it was bad. How do you mess up a burger.
Great menu selections with reasonable pricing. Amazing food, some of the best prepared I have ever had. The service was great too, very attentive and knowledgeable waitresses/waiters. Will definitely be going back again!
