The recently opened Astrid y Gaston is modern, but welcoming, sophisticated, and elegant. Astrid y Gastón es un restaurante fundado en Lima, Perú en el año de 1994 por Gastón Acurio y su esposa Astrid, cocineros que luego de una larga formación en Europa, deciden regresal al Perú para iniciar la aplicación de sus enseñanzas con los productos y las costumbrs de su país. Así con el tiempo, y luego de un inusitado éxito, Astrid y Gastón Acurio van nutriéndose de los sabores e ingredientes de su país y asociandolos con culturas y técnicas foráneas, logrando asi dar forma a una cocina de estilo propio que en un inicio fue catalogada como peruana, moderna, personal y libre. En el año 2000 abren Astrid y Gastón en Santiago de Chile donde rapidamente se posiciona como el mejor restaurante del país. Con el mismo éxito, la marca continua expandiendose en Bogotá,Quito,Caracas,Madrid, Panamá. Su octavo restaurante abre en México el 10 de Noviembre del 2008 y en Mayo 2009 en Buenos Aires.

Excelente comida! el trato fue excelente, solo al final olvidaron una bebida pero nada grave. En general super recomendable!

The ambiance and food were fantastic! It was a special birthday dinner and all the food went out on time, along with attetive service. If there is one thing I may add, is that some of the waiters that served us this evening had trouble understanding our order and sometimes had trouble explaining the dish. I think this should be a basic in any higher-end restuarant.. but this is really up to the training of the staff of Astrid & Gaston. Thank you very much!

Lo pasamos realmente bien. Tuve la oportunidad de cenar con mi pareja ayer en A&G. La experiencia fue espectacular. Una gastronomía única en la ciudad que nos transportó a Lima, buena carta de vinos y buen servicio. Lo mejor el arroz chaufa y el cochinito tres semanas. Sin duda uno de mis restaurantes favoritos. Muy recomendado.

Un lugar excelente, asistimos mi esposo y yo para festejar nuestro aniversario y desde el recibimiento fue muy cálido, los meseros muy atentos y serviciales todo el tiempo estuvieron al pendiente de nosotros, la comida la mejor que he probado desde los ceviches, el atún y el camote y la lechera, todo estuvo delicioso! Sin olvidar el riquísimo pisco el mejor que hemos probado... el mesero siempre atento a los detalles nos envío un pastel de cortesía por nuestro aniversario, son esos detalles que te hacen sentir en casa. Fue una noche espectacular, gracias a todos los que forman parte de este lugar por hacer posible un maravilloso aniversario! Súper recomendable! Excelente experiencia!
