We were so excited for high tea here - but it was very disappointing. Waited 30+ minutes past our reservation time, and then sat for an additional 15 mins before getting greeted. We were sitting for 30 mins before water was poured. It was busy, and maybe this was an “off” day, for staff but for a couple of hungry people, this was not ideal. The presentation of the food was very cute and chic, however the scones had clearly been microwaved as they arrived warm and within 10 mins were hard as rocks, the cookies came out of a box and were super generic. The sandwiches were not good. The bread was either old and hard, or old and soggy. Tasted stale and old, you know the taste of stale bread. The chef came out checking on tables, which was very nice, so I informed him that it was not good. He was perplexed saying “the bread came in yesterday, and the sandwiches have been covered all day” well - if that doesn’t explain it I don’t know what will. You’re charging $115 per person for day old bread and sandwiches that have been made hours earlier, not freshly made, and have been on a tray “covered” all day. Hmm! Anywho, it was very disappointing, and now both of us are feeling unwell…probably the worst high tea experience I’ve had. We love high tea and have had it in multiple countries, I was really expecting better from the St. Regis!

The Astor Court ambulance is amazing and truly a remarkable place, however, my experience was not matched by their service and quality. Upon arrival, I waited at the host front desk for over 10 minutes without a greeting or any hostess. I had a reservation and still was not met by anyone until I found a waiter to seat us. After another 15mins , I was finally met with a waiter to get wine and food selection. Once the wine bottle was delivered, the service dropped the bottle and poured out 1/4 of it and said it was fine, but was still charged full price. After 3 hours at the restaurant, our table was met 4 times by a waiter with no follow up on the services, any refills or even a check. I again had to ask another waiter for a check since nobody wanted to serve. For a restaurant that is upscale and located in the St. Regis , the quality and services was unacceptable.

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at The St. Regis. The room is fantastic- very opulent and beautiful. The food was delicious. We had the risotto, lamb, 1/2 chicken and lobster roll and everything was fresh and tasty. The fries that came with the lobster roll were originally cold and soggy but once I mentioned it, they brought out a bowl of piping hot, fresh ones. We also enjoyed the tray of petit fours that was provided. Quite a wonderful experience. We look forward to returning!

When visiting New York City, we usually make it a habit to stop by the St Regis Astor Court for dessert and coffee after a show. Sadly, our experience was nowhere near what we’ve come to expect. The service was not up to St Regis’standards, the order was incorrect TWICE, the beverages were luke warm and the cookies were hard and cold. Very disappointing. Not sure we will be back.

I love the St. Regis. The architecture, old world New York feel, and elegant decor make it a special place to dine. It's not inexpensive but worth the experience.

Absolutely worth the visit. The location, venue and ambiance was super and topped off our New York holiday. The staff were super friendly and couldn’t do enough to cater for our needs. Love this place and will return.

The restaurant is located in the St Regis hotel which is beautiful however the food is mediocre and the prices are significantly overpriced - for example a cup of coffee is $15 - that aside the service was good and they did their best to make the experience enjoyable

The strawberry cream infused French toast was really nice. Appreciate that the waiter to inform me of the size. The chicken sauages tasted funny. I had to ask whether they were chicken and not pork savages. Latte was more Ike a filtered coffee with milk. It was taken off my bill. I had to wait for 10 minutes before seated by this woman who still had to ask me how many people despite that she saw my booking. This was 2nd time I had been here years ago. It was the space I like but definitely not so much for there food or service.

Cesar was an exceptional waiter. Very attentive, but not intrusive. This is a magnificent place for breakfast just off 5th Avenue and 55th St. Beautiful space, very quiet and extremely professional. Will eat here every time I need a fabulous breakfast in NY.

Marisol hosted and greeted us back. Elegant dining room and setting. We love breakfast here with our favorite server, Javier, a professional 26-year veteran. Fresh fruit beautifully arranged. Excellent American breakfasts. Coffee piping hot. Friendly staff. A highlight of our stay, when we visit New York from Hawaii.

It was a quiet Sunday evening in the elegant dining room. Marisol hosted and greeted us, Juan Manuel gave great friendly service. We ordered our usual comfort food favorites: hot soothing Chicken Pasta soup, New England Lobster Rolls with French fried potatoes. Always a pleasure to find this oasis of serenity in the city.

Beautiful decor the music was great however, the service was not the best our waiter was very slow and inattentive. I ordered a glass of Moët he came back after 8 mins saying that they don’t serve Moët by the glass while it is on the menu when I pointed that out he grabbed the menu and told us that it was an old menu (why were we given that menu then) the food wasn’t the best it was average but we had a good time

Always my favorite breakfast and had the French toast they used to make. Delicious! Have missed it. Had it two days in a row. The best group working there. They remember you and you favorite foods. Beautiful setting. Take time to relax and enjoy a fabulous breakfast.
