This restaurant has good food, my wife liked the wine selections and I found a beer that I enjoyed. I was surprised on how casual the place was considering it is a golf course restaurant. The downside is out waitress was slow, although there was a wedding reception going on at the same time, the family at the table next to us, with a different waitress, arrived after we did, ate, and left before we were even served our main course. Thankfully we were not in a hurry and this was only a minor inconvenience. We would recommend this restaurant and hope you get a more attentive waitress.
Overall good experience. Seemed a little short staffed.
The beef tenderloin sandwich is delicious The crab cake appetizer you only get one Patty, kind of expensive Great atmosphere!
made to order omelets are a favorite with our group
The prime rib on the pretzel bun is excellent! Great atmosphere and a beautiful view!
Reservations at 615...seated at 625....drink order taken by hostess at 640...dinner order finally taken by waiter at 740...dinner served as 830....
There was a big party so we ate outside. What a win for us. It was awesome and Jen was a great server. We all enjoyed our meals.
The service was terrible. We were seated for 20 minutes before a server came to the table. It took 30 minutes for the food to be delivered after we ordered. The server was very inattentive and it took multiple reminders to get drinks refilled.
At best the food was average. Burgers are only cooked medium well and well done. They were extremely dry.
I would not recommend and will not return.
Great value for your money. Excellent brunch, made to order omlet.
Food was cold service was very poor. Good value if had better service and hot food
Meal was good, but it was SO incredible loud. It was very difficult to have any type of conversation.
More casual than I expected. Inexpensive yet tasty food. Lacked ambience and service was unremarkable. Nothing on the menu for dessert. Not sure I'd make a special trip back.
Considering the Oak Leaf markets itself on its views of either the golf course or 40' waterfall, why were we seated with a lovely view of closed shades and the back door into the pro shop? We had a 6:15pm reservation and the restaurant was not even half full - about three tables were occupied. We were not seated with a view of anything, even though outdoor seating and window tables were available. Very disappointing. The hostess was very personable, but the customer service stopped after she left our table. Our waiter (Daniel H) was very disinterested in our table. Did I mention the restaurant was not busy? First of all, do NOT snatch a menu out of a guest's hand! Second of all, no matter what your issue is with management or the kitchen, the guest should NOT hear about it. He was very curt with us and slunk back to our table (after we placed our order) and said, "Every time I come in here, no one tells me anything! The kitchen is out of the pork loin." Unfortunately, that was NOT the way to handle the situation.
Knowing that everyone can have an "off" day, we checked with a couple local residents and they indicated that they have experienced the same poor service. However, they were willing to overlook the instance because of the lovely view. Since we didn't get a lovely view, we can't overlook the poor service.
This was our first visit and will be our last visit. The food was good. The price was fair. The ambience was poor. The view was denied. The customer experience with the waiter was poor. There are so many restaurants that put together a winning combination of good food, good service and good value, that there is no need to settle for a sub-par experience.
Sat outside on the porch, service was great, salad was fresh and food excellent. Great evening to sit outside and watch golfer.
Great Sunday brunch! They give seniors a huge break. Fantastic view sitting on the deck watching the golfers. Sure to go back again! Ate way to much. Haha
Great view, wonderful service and really good food.
We took our family there for breakfast/brunch following our 50th anniversary party from the night before. All was perfect. We were all very impressed with the omelet station and chefs.
My meal was very good . The server was very attentive to our needs. Service was good. Friendly atmosphere.
The food and service are fine at The Oak Leaf. Very much American fare - sandwiches, burgers, salads, entrees. All are reasonably priced. The young lady who waited on us was attentive and pleasant. The biggest drawback was the noise. There were several large parties there for Father's Day, and it was almost impossible to have a conversation with those at our table.
Love going here! Great view of the golf course and great food with reasonable prices.
