Excellent food and fresh quality..cant wait to return...rbk
Great food!Great service! Great entertainment! Can't wait to go back! Our favorite place in New Jersey!
Tacky.... Embarrassing entertainer singing in very small venue. We would never have gone if we knew that was happening. Loud, awkward. Food mediocre. Very bland from seafood to bolognese to scallops....
Great food and a fun place with live entertainment. And it’s BYOB! Will be back again very soon.
Excellent service; great food; can’t wait to go back again.
Very good meal for reasonable price. Love the fact that its BYOB.
We made reservations and were seated immediately. However it took a while to be waited on, even to receive water and have our wine opened. It was pretty busy. The food was fantastic.
I found this place on Yelp and decided to give it a try. I was not disappointed.
I went on a Tuesday nite since I read that it is very busy on the weekend.
No regrets. Food was great and the server was friendly and courteous.
I have been here several times for dinner and also once for a catered party. They never fail to meet my expectations. The food is always well prepared and flavorful, served hot, and generous portions. This restaurant is well worth a visit for any occasion. My highest complements to the owner, manager, and last but not least the chef.
Great food. Calamari was unbelievable. Bring wine
Pasta with vodka sauce was great. Didn't love our dinners as much as usual tonight. But we'll still be back. Maybe just an off night.
Beautiful atmosphere! Great service! Great food! One of our favorite places to dine! My husband enjoyed the New York Steak! Cooked perfect! Did not need a steak knife to cut it! It was so tender. ..I enjoyed the chicken with sautéed mushrooms in a lite cream sauce. .The BEST! !! Can't wait to go back! !!!
This was our fourth visit, but the food was not as good as on previous occasions. Maybe if our waitress had shared the day's specials with us, we would have enjoyed one of those more. After we had ordered, we overhead as a nearby table was being told. The spinach also did not have the same flavor as on previous visits. Good this time, but far from great.
Vodka chicken parm over angel hair pasta was delish. Lasagna was awesome as well.
Table for five please!!
Outstanding first experience at this hidden gem on Rt 35.
Made Open Table reservations the night before and snagged a table for 6:30 with my wife and three children.
We were greeted by the front desk as she was helping out the wait staff. Seated promptly.
We were served a delicious bruschetta as we looked over the menu and specials. We ordered calamari and long grilled hot peppers for an appetizer. very nicely done calamari with hot sauce was great. Tender
My wife enjoyed the eggplant Parmesan, my daughter had Quattro Frimmagio pasta ( outstanding), my 14 year old loved a special chicken Parmesan with vodka sauce over angel hair pasta, my youngest loved penne with meatballs and ricotta cheese.
I had veal Parmesan and it was outstanding.
Best local Italian restaurant I’ve been to in years. We went to an old favorite Pieros a month ago and this was far better.
We will return for sure. The 20 minutes from old Bridge well worth the drive.
A good dining experience.
Food is amazing and staff is equally amazing!
We have been here many times and have never been disappointed with any meal we have ordered!! Food and service always good! Very friendly staff and owner! What a great neighborhood gem! And it’s BYOB to boot!
As usual, we were not disappointed. Each and every time I have been here, I have had a great time enjoying the atmosphere and food.
We are new to the area and this place was recommended by a family friend. I’m sorry to say our overall experience was not good. They had an extremely loud singer, too loud for the restaurant and appeared to be very short staffed. We waited 90 minutes for our entrees with no apology and had to ask numerous times for water refills . To be fair I will say the food did arrive hot and our party of 4 did enjoy the food. Since the food was good I would possibly consider giving it a second chance but with so much competition in the area I’m not sure I would go back before trying other places. One more positive it was very affordable.
Wonderful place. Great food. .Great service! Love this restaurant! !
Food was great, ordered an appetizer that was never delivered, yet still appeared on the bill. They promptly removed it, but still lol
Always good food and great service. Can be mobbed on weekends so make a reservation. B.Y.O.B. is a plus. Can get very noisy.
We took our sons out for dinner. The food was wonderful and byo made it very reasonable for the evening. We have been here twice and will return. Highly recommend this restaurant even though it is hidden in the back of a strip mall.
Always a perfect meal.
Our visit was great. Started with the hot pepper appetizer. Salad was good and the veal parm was tender. Good sauce on the pasta. Large portions so we had no room for dessert.
service was wonderful. food great. Loved that they didn't hurry us.
We went to celebrate a birthday and were pleasantly surprised to enjoy a night of music as if it were our own private party. The food and the service was wonderful too!
Excellent customer service and the food is delicious highly recommend this place
Outstanding find here in Hazlet.. Great food great servers..BYOB....
Have never been disappointed when we have eaten here. Get pasta as a main or side. The sauce is great.
A little gem of a restaurant in Hazlet. Good Italian food. BYOB. Good service. All around a nice place to dine.
Have been to this restaurant many times and it never disappoints. Service was exceptional and the food was delicious. It continues to be one of my favorite restaurants.
This was our first visit and we definitely would go back again. The restaurant was packed but the noise level was much less than you might expect. The food was very good and was excellent value for the price.
Got to admit, the food was really good. The sauces were exceptional and home made, not runny like some other places. Overall, we had a good conversation in a nice quaint restaurant. Too bad that the service was a bit slow. We saw more busboys (like 3-4) than servers (only saw one). Otherwise, this restaurant would easily be scored as a 4 Star.
We took my mom here for her 50th birthday. We happen to stumble upon this looking for recommendations for a rehearsal dinner. This is one of those hole in the wall places that hides in the back of a shopping center but is a gem when you walk through the door. From the service, to the food and the great atmosphere I will be dining again.
Perfect Setting, Perfect Meal- This was our 3rd time and we have not been disappointed !!
5 Stars !!!
We will come back soon.!!
Large portions, reasonable prices, lovely ambiance. BYOB. Fun with friends. I've been there many times.
Great Caesar salad, had a bold flavor of garlic and anchovy, which I prefer. The fresh mozzarella and roasted pepper/salad was also nicely plated and dressed well. I found the stuffed artichoke a little bland in taste with minimal bread crumbs, but that was not a deal breaker. My pork Osso Bucco was fork tender and flavorful, the sauce was a tad heavy, but tasty. The stuffed and sliced chicken breast entree was plentiful and had a nice texture and was seasoned well. I tried my friends eggplant rollatine and I loved it. Lightly floured and sauteed eggplant with a wonderful ricotta stuffing in a nice tomato sauce, was my favorite dish. I did not try the veal Marsala, but I was told that it was also a good choice. The service was a bit slow, but the dining room was packed, so it was hard to judge if it was the kitchen causing the delay. All in all, it was a nice dining experience.
Since the first of the year when I discovered Assaginni DiRoma, I've eaten there probably a dozen times.
The food is always excellent and the portions are large. The value is great, and the cost is very reasonable. I've taken all of my friends there because I know I will always get a good meal. Everyone I've taken has loved the place
