In East and West Cobb...
Today, Aug. 24th is their last day to be open. Guess their renters would not negotiate with them
Great food and service
Excellent Food and Service. It was our first time and we will be back.
So snotty to hear this favorite of ours is closing. Many good meals and memories here.
Sad to see this West Cobb staple go.
They did not have our reservation In the system. The hostess reaction even after I showed her the confirmation was "well we don't have it our system"
Another family experienced the same situation and walked out.
We did get seated after 10 minutes and server was apologetic that they did not have our reservation.
Service and food was great.
Service and food were excellent. Waiter indicates Aspens west will close in a couple of weeks. This customer will miss them.
Closing soon.
This restaurant is a gem. My wife and I are always surprised that it isn't more crowded! The food, patricularly the portion size and overall quality, is top-notch. Consistently superb in service and ambiance, we can’t wait to return. Recommended!
Absolutely great experience but it’s a shame they are closing.
Waitress always seemed in a rush and it wasn’t even busy. Food could’ve been a little more quality for the price. Bathroom stalls are small (I’m not a big person) and could use air freshener. Overall, it was good except for a few small improvements;)
Aspens was great. It was a Tuesday night, so it was very quiet. The food and drinks were outstanding, as was our server.
Just not as good as the East Cobb location.
Good prices on early bird menu. Some tables dimly lit so a little hard to read the menu.
Lights were out over the booth so you could not see-we asked for another table. However, we noticed lights were out everywhere. This should not be!
Food was excellent but service not good. The restaurant was not busy at all but we were basically ignored most of the time. Had trouble getting our waiter's attention in getting what was ordered and then getting silverware to eat it.
Every time we go there it’s great, everything. The service is always excellent as well as the food.
the fish, trout, smelled awful could not eat it
steak was ok
service was fine
value, not worth the price
Food good but no better than Outback or Longhorns which are both much cheaper. Filet was average...too salty. Prime rib was excellent. Outback has better Cesar salads...but sourdough bread was awesome! They have you add if it was a special occasion on the reservation. It was our anniversary and I noted it on the reservation but no one mentioned it at the restaurant which is fine. Just not sure why they ask about the occasion if it is ignored.
We had an amazing dinner. It was our 25th anniversary dinner. The service was impeccable. I had the surf and turf with creamed spinach and my husband had swordfish with an andouille sauce. The creamed spinach was the best I have ever had. Then for the finale they brought out their signature red velvet cake for our celebration dessert. My husband says it’s the best cake he’s ever eaten. This was our first time eating at Aspens but we will definitely be back.
entree arrived too soon.
salad warm
filet mignon by itself on a plate could of been styled with something !
Aspens is a nice upscale place to go on a date or a quiet meal. Service is usually great and food can be great as well. Drinks are well made. On this occasion I ordered a signature KC strip steak. I didn't order any of the toppings as I wanted to enjoy the taste of an aged steak. Unfortunately the chef decided that the steak needed so much salt and pepper that the flavor of the steak was lost. I would expect this kind of over-seasoning on a $17 Longhorn steak, not a $44 signature steak from Aspens. Other than that the dinner was great and the service as always was above par.
The booth had very low lighting - not by request. Food was ok. Service was excellent.
Great food, nice atmosphere, attentive staff.
As usual, great atmosphere, good service and delicious food. A great upscale restaurant close to home.
The food was excellent. Make sure to try the creamed corn and the filet. Our server was top notch. We love this place!!
Birthday & Fathers Day!!
We ordered The calamari appetizer. Surprisingly it was very tough- guessing over cooked.
It was ok, but would love more seafood on the buffet.
We've been going to the Sunday brunch at Aspens for Father's Day for many, many years. The last couple times we've gone, the food has gone down a notch each time. This past Sunday, although they had the shrimp cocktail (my husband's favorite part) listed on the online menu, they did NOT actually have it at the Bruch. They also changed they mac & cheese recipe 2-3 years ago, and now my mac & cheese loving kid won't even get it. No longer worth the price.
I love Aspens, but on our last visit my wife wanted to substitute asparagus for green beans. The waiter informed her that they couldn’t do it. Nonsense. We will go back, but I will bring my own asparagus!
Steaks are always consistent and a great list of appetizers. It is a great go to restaurant that you don't have to fight a crowd in.
My wife and I just moved to Marietta and decided to try Aspen's for our wedding anniversary. I appreciated the table they gave us next to a fireplace, as did my wife. The food was excellent and the service was fantastic. We will be back.
Good excellent, service excellent, lovely place for any occasion
This is a perfect location for a special meal while staying close to home in West Cobb. The food is among the best we've had and the service is exceptional. The steaks are amazing and the menu includes a wide variety of other items too.
I will never be back! Your 40.00 ribeyes are no better than steaks I can buy in Publix for a lot less. Also, your chef needs to learn how to cook a steak and also a baked potato. Lost a customer for sure!
Staff was ok. Asked for a sauce for my shrimp and didn’t get it till I was finished with my mean. Food was good.
The lighting at our table was not good. Maybe some wall sconces would help to see what you are eating. Otherwise, a very pleasant meal with good service.
Went with my wife for my birthday. Everything was very nice. Food and service was excellent. The only reason for not giving the highest star is that my first drink was poorly made. I asked for a gin martini straight up with olives. When it came, it was in an old-fashioned glass, not chilled, with olives. I told the server when she asked if I would have another drink, I mentioned my displeasure with the first drink. She brought back my second drink in a martini glass, and it was chilled. I don't know what the bartender was thinking the first time since this is a standard drink that I've had in other establishments without any trouble. I'm vaguely remembering that this happened in a past visit to Aspens West Cobb. Other than a poor bartender, Aspens is great for nice dining.
The food was excellent. Our server was having a tough night and made a few mistakes. The manager took care of the mistakes by comping one of our steaks. That was very much appreciated. I would definitely recommend the restaurant. It was a Monday night so the restaurant was fairly empty and quiet. I am sure that it will be louder at other times.
Good food, not crazy expensive. Went on Mother's Day and appreciated the service. Bread is good but crust is a little hard but that is that specific kind of high end restaurant bread.
