Steps into Aspens.
Step into something extraordinary!
In East and West Cobb...
Food good but no better than Outback or Longhorns which are both much cheaper. Filet was average...too salty. Prime rib was excellent. Outback has better Cesar salads...but sourdough bread was awesome! They have you add if it was a special occasion on the reservation. It was our anniversary and I noted it on the reservation but no one mentioned it at the restaurant which is fine. Just not sure why they ask about the occasion if it is ignored.
We had an amazing dinner. It was our 25th anniversary dinner. The service was impeccable. I had the surf and turf with creamed spinach and my husband had swordfish with an andouille sauce. The creamed spinach was the best I have ever had. Then for the finale they brought out their signature red velvet cake for our celebration dessert. My husband says it’s the best cake he’s ever eaten. This was our first time eating at Aspens but we will definitely be back.
entree arrived too soon.
filet mignon by itself on a plate could of been styled with something !
Aspens is a nice upscale place to go on a date or a quiet meal. Service is usually great and food can be great as well. Drinks are well made. On this occasion I ordered a signature KC strip steak. I didn't order any of the toppings as I wanted to enjoy the taste of an aged steak. Unfortunately the chef decided that the steak needed so much salt and pepper that the flavor of the steak was lost. I would expect this kind of over-seasoning on a $17 Longhorn steak, not a $44 signature steak from Aspens. Other than that the dinner was great and the service as always was above par.
The booth had very low lighting - not by request. Food was ok. Service was excellent.
Great food, nice atmosphere, attentive staff.
As usual, great atmosphere, good service and delicious food. A great upscale restaurant close to home.
The food was excellent. Make sure to try the creamed corn and the filet. Our server was top notch. We love this place!!
Birthday & Fathers Day!!
We ordered The calamari appetizer. Surprisingly it was very tough- guessing over cooked.
It was ok, but would love more seafood on the buffet.
We've been going to the Sunday brunch at Aspens for Father's Day for many, many years. The last couple times we've gone, the food has gone down a notch each time. This past Sunday, although they had the shrimp cocktail (my husband's favorite part) listed on the online menu, they did NOT actually have it at the Bruch. They also changed they mac & cheese recipe 2-3 years ago, and now my mac & cheese loving kid won't even get it. No longer worth the price.
I love Aspens, but on our last visit my wife wanted to substitute asparagus for green beans. The waiter informed her that they couldn’t do it. Nonsense. We will go back, but I will bring my own asparagus!
Steaks are always consistent and a great list of appetizers. It is a great go to restaurant that you don't have to fight a crowd in.
My wife and I just moved to Marietta and decided to try Aspen's for our wedding anniversary. I appreciated the table they gave us next to a fireplace, as did my wife. The food was excellent and the service was fantastic. We will be back.
Good excellent, service excellent, lovely place for any occasion
This is a perfect location for a special meal while staying close to home in West Cobb. The food is among the best we've had and the service is exceptional. The steaks are amazing and the menu includes a wide variety of other items too.
I will never be back! Your 40.00 ribeyes are no better than steaks I can buy in Publix for a lot less. Also, your chef needs to learn how to cook a steak and also a baked potato. Lost a customer for sure!
Staff was ok. Asked for a sauce for my shrimp and didn’t get it till I was finished with my mean. Food was good.
The lighting at our table was not good. Maybe some wall sconces would help to see what you are eating. Otherwise, a very pleasant meal with good service.
Went with my wife for my birthday. Everything was very nice. Food and service was excellent. The only reason for not giving the highest star is that my first drink was poorly made. I asked for a gin martini straight up with olives. When it came, it was in an old-fashioned glass, not chilled, with olives. I told the server when she asked if I would have another drink, I mentioned my displeasure with the first drink. She brought back my second drink in a martini glass, and it was chilled. I don't know what the bartender was thinking the first time since this is a standard drink that I've had in other establishments without any trouble. I'm vaguely remembering that this happened in a past visit to Aspens West Cobb. Other than a poor bartender, Aspens is great for nice dining.
The food was excellent. Our server was having a tough night and made a few mistakes. The manager took care of the mistakes by comping one of our steaks. That was very much appreciated. I would definitely recommend the restaurant. It was a Monday night so the restaurant was fairly empty and quiet. I am sure that it will be louder at other times.
Good food, not crazy expensive. Went on Mother's Day and appreciated the service. Bread is good but crust is a little hard but that is that specific kind of high end restaurant bread.
Previously I had only been to the East Cobb location. My mom and I had a tradition of going every year for Easter brunch and Mother’s Day brunch, and we loved it. She passed away a year and a half ago. This year I made reservations for my boyfriend and I to take his parents for Mother’s Day brunch. I chose the West Cobb location because it’s closer to their house. I was sick and did not make it but they went. They told me everything about it was wonderful....the ambience, the service, the food selection. Even the food WOULD HAVE been great except everything was TOO SALTY! Now, my boyfriend puts way too much salt on everything he eats but his mom tasted the food first and warned him, so he did not add salt to anything. Yet everything was still too salty for him. This is a sad waste of otherwise quality food and a disappointment to an otherwise wonderful experience. Anyone can add their own salt to any dish. Why, why, why would they oversalt everything? It’s bad enough that the fast food industry has to dredge our fries in salt but an upscale restaurant should not do this.
Service was terrible. We were walked in a dark hall to get to our table which at any moment felt like we were going to miss a step. Never told about specials. Long awkward pause between the salad and putting in our entree order. Our waiter never returned during dinner to see how things were but did ask while clearing away the plates of the three ppl who had finished eating and then promptly gave them dessert menus while I was still eating dinner. My dinner plates on the other hand remained at the table till we left. My water was never refilled and I sat looking at my lemon sitting on the bottom wishing I had something to rinse the bland flavor out of my mouth.
We love Aspen's - it is our favorite special occasion restaurant without going into the city. We especially love the early bird menu, which allows us to eat amazing, seasonal meals without breaking our budget. The decor is warm and inviting, the service is excellent. You won't be disappointed!
We had a girls night out and the food was fantastic as always! My first time trying the crab cake, delicious! Service was great, our waiter seemed to be very knowledgeable on the wine list as well as the menu. We look forward to our next girls night at Aspens!
The food was very good but it was cold. They did not replenish the chafing dishes often so many times I would go up to the station and the dishes would be empty. I waited two hours for shrimp and none ever came. There was just a big bowl of cocktail sauce. The waiter was attentive. Also only found a banana pudding and should have been more choices for the money.
Will definitely go back!
Food cold and had to be sent back, wrong wine served. Just average service
steak had to be returned to kitchen because it was too rare.....not ordered as rare but undercooked for sure
Excellent food and ambience. We will definitely be back.
Nice service and good food. Early bird specials are a good value.
Six of us enjoyed the early dinner special. Our waitress was great, on top of everything. We all were satisfied with our dinners. Will be back soon.
Nice enough place. Very pricey
Great food and service as usual
I have been twice and the food and service have yet to disappoint. A great full service bar as well for a quick afternoon get together.
Waiter was ok must have been new it was to dark could not even read the menu prime rib was very good bake potato was cold the salad was average felt like it was to dark like y’all trying to hide worn decorations over all friendly staff just more light
Aspen’s has such a great menu every day. Quite the place.
We were seated promptly and service and server were great.
Great food. Great attentive service.
