Aspens West Cobb Ratings and Reviews
I was surprised by how expensive the food was. This feels like a neighborhood restaurant. Definitely not a special occasion or fine dining but the prices reflect a higher end restaurant than what it is. The food was fine but not the quality that would warrant these prices. There are not a lot of restaurants in the area but its worth a drive to find a fine dining restaurant to dine at.
Let me start out by saying we had a group of five and all of the food items ordered came prompt and were excellent. With that being said, our waiter dropped a full glass of white wine on my daughter in law by accident, of course. The glass was on a tray and went tumbling out onto the carpeted floor by shattered none the less. Our waiter was quite upset and apologized and cleaned up as best he could. Our daughter in law on the other hand, ended up eating her dinner with a soaked lap and wet left arm! We were subsequently comped an appetizer of our choice but no manager ever responded to our table! It was a very quiet night being the Thanksgiving weekend so unknown if one was even working. We have dined here in the past and the food has always been excellent. The service, not so much.
This place was so beautiful on the inside. I love the rustic feel of it. The food was absolutely delicious and the staff was very friendly. Our server was Vanessa and she took very good care of us. I chose this place for my birthday when i saw baked oysters and creme brulee on the menu and it didnt disappoint. Will definitely be back!!
So disappointed in the food tonight. Have been coming here for years regularly for business dinners. New menu. The salmon that we (and everyone else) loves has been replaced with a sweet tasteless salmon dish. Redfish was fishy tasting and over cooked. Salads were fine and oysters Rockefeller were good. Server was very sweet. Overall a disappointing dinner though.
Very good evening. Food was great, as usual. Disappointed that they no longer serve the great bread,
but now have corn muffins. Corn muffins? This is a poor substitute. Also disappointed that two of the more popular dessert choices were not available. Still, it was a good evening.
We had a delicious meal which has always been our experience at Aspen's. We love the atmosphere and we had exceptional service from our waiter, Jared. We enjoy celebrating our special events like birthday, anniversary at Aspen's. And the early bird menu is a special bonus! Thank you for making our anniversary meal a memorable occasion!
Visiting long-time friends in Georgia, and decided to try Aspen West Cobb. Our party of 7 had great service from Warren - he kept our drinks filled and made great meal recommendations. We enjoyed all of the entrees and loved the many sides offerings - especially the smoked gouda grits! Would highly recommend, and would definitely return if we visit Georgia again!
The food was great. The service was a little slow and the restaurant was way too hot. First we were seated in the back and it was so dark and hot. We were moved to the bar area and the bar was cooler but as the evening went on, it was too hot there as well. We asked for the air to be turned on but it didn't help. As always, the food was delicious.
