Quick to acknowledge and seat us. Waiter to good care of us. A well paced meal. Great food
Really great meal, with attentive service. Very friendly and approachable atmosphere with excellent quality food. The scallops were perfect and my wife’s filet was just how she liked. A little pricy but worth it.
We loved Aspen Grille! We decided to try it on a whim and we were very happy. The food was amazing and our waiter was very friendly and informative as well as attentive. We will definitely go back to Aspen Grille again in the near future.
My wife and I ate here for our anniversary when we were on vacation in Myrtle Beach, nice ambience, great service, and the food was very good. The owners even left a hand written happy anniversary card on our table when we arrived. My wife is gluten free and there were many choices for her to select from. Great restaurant, I highly recommend it!
We went there or our 21st wedding anniversary and could not imagine picking a better place. The service was friendly, professional and paced perfectly. Food was priced at about what you would expect in a quality restaurant like this. Wine by the glass was even cheaper than I had expected. I think we now can safely say that we have found our favorite restaurant in the Myrtle Beach area.
Very disappointed, my husband had steak tips for appetizer, he said “I wouldn’t give this to a dog”! He got his favorite dish, short ribs, and spit most of it out, as it was mostly grizzel! I got the escargot, no taste at all!
I ordered my favorite dish, shrimp and grits for dinner, it was tasty, but the grits had the consistency of water and the whole dish was in a bed of liquid??? Our waitress did not put my husbands appetizer on the bill, we did not ask her to deduct it, but she could see he was not happy! We gave her 20% as the service was good but the food was not! 🙈 Also, we found it strange they had a lovely man playing the keyboard, but they placed a table of 6 right in front of him, he even said to the table if he is too loud let him know. They could have put these people any place in the restaurant, why put them 2 feet in front of the entertainment ! There was a separate room they could have put 2 four tops together and the guests with there 3 young boys, (the parents would have been much happier) would have been out of the way from the entertainment. Nevertheless, the only reason we would go back, is to have a drink & listen to the music! This is not a place for a foodies!!!
By luck, my husband and I ended up at this restaurant for a rare date night. I cannot say enough good things about it. The food was amazing. It stands head and shoulders above the other Myrtle Beach restaurants we tried. It would fit in quite nicely in the ultra-competitive food scene in DC, where we live. A nice touch rarely found in DC, though, was the live music. She had a beautiful voice, sang a nice variety of songs, and the sound level was just right so that we could still carry on a conversation. We had the crab stuffed flounder and the scallops and really enjoyed them. We will definitely be back!
I have been to Aspen Grill many times and each visit has been great. Truly my favorite place to eat in all of Myrtle Beach. I would suggest the Shrimp and Grits!
Very nice service and good food preparation. The prices are high (for what you get) however, I would return due to a good experience.
As always, the experience was awesome! I will return in the very near future.
Lamb chops were okay. My friend ordered the steak and it had a funny smell to it-not sure what that was about. Waitress seemed off, not sure if she had a bad day or what.....
A great evening wonderful food and nice music our waiter Will was friendly and attentive a wonderful experience. Will be back again...
We visited Aspen Grille with friends for a special occasion while visiting Myrtle together. The food was excellent, the service perfect and dessert perfect!
We have been to the Aspen Grille many times. This is one of the first times I wasn’t really impressed with the food. Two of us ordered the grouper and one ordered the mahi-mahi and it seemed like it did not have much flavor. The duck and scallops were both fantastic however. Our server did a great job as well. Other than that..we love the Aspen Grill.
As always, excellent. The chef is so accommodating with changing up items and also with making almost the entire menu gluten free if requested. Also, as always, great service. Brynn was there when we needed her, but never intrusive. Well done!
Aspen Grill is consistently good and both land and sea options are great. Grouper is my favorite but the handcut steaks are great too. The service is always top notch. One of Myrtle Beach's best!
It was our last night on vacation in Myrtle Beach. Saved the BEST for last.
Without a doubt this is our Myrtle Beach favorite restaurant. We enjoy it so much we usually cancel reservations at other restaurants so we can eat here a second time during our stay. The food and service are exceptional, subsitutions are no problem. Warn goat cheese bruschetta, any of the risotto sides and the blueberry bread pudding are must haves. While all the main courses are great, Do Not pass up the hog’s head snapper if it's available - best fish ever!
excellent service and wonderful taste and presentation..as usual
love the jazz guitar, cocktails seemed a bit over priced.
Chef Martin's European work experience is evident in the food and service. Thank you for the work that is done at Aspen Grille to achieve a level above most American restaurants.
Service was very good, server very good. Food very good large portions but over priced. Wife and I were there at 4:30 out by 6:00 pm
This was a last minute reservation. The restaurant seated us quickly and even presented a birthday card. Super classy move, I greatly appreciated it.
We had about every course, all were outstanding, presentation to taste, service was good. Desert, peach cobbler I think was a little to oat mealy in my opinion otherwise all good. Will definitely return. jhc
My boyfriend and I go to Aspen Grill every time we are in Mrytle Beach on vacation. We love the food, ambience and overall dining experience.. and of course we love the bartender from Pittsburgh, our home town!
This was our first time at Aspen Grille. We had a nice meal. The Fried Green Tomatoes appetizer was delicious. The bread with the specialty salts was very good and different. The cocktails and our meals were very good, however I think they were a little bit overpriced ($12 for a martini, $30 for Shrimp and Grits). Dessert was good, but also a little pricey. The service was ok, although the waiter (who told us he was fairly new there) was a bit too attentive and we felt a little rushed. When you're out dining on a special occasion (our anniversary, which they knew about, but did not acknowledge) you want a nice leisurely meal so you have a chance to talk and enjoy each other's company. You don't each course immediately followed by the next course. We were in and out of there in less than an hour. All in all, it wasn't a bad experience, but it was a little disappointing.
Darrick our server made us feel right at home. Very helpful,.. very welcoming, very sincere! This was our first visit to Aspen Grill and it will not be our last. The food was delicious and well prepared. Everything added up to a very enjoyable experience.
Rack of Lamb, was ordered to be cooked to medium. Rack came out raw and I eat most meat medium rare and this was absurd.
Sent it back and blew my mind, they microwaved it. Yes microwaved the most expensive entree on the menu.
I'm not paying 50 dollars for something to be microwaved. What a shame.
FYI the Mahi Mahi, ordered by 4 people at our table tasted nothing like Mahi. It was tilapia guarenteed.
Food is always excellent. Tonight was no exception.
Girlfriends and I were vacationing in Myrtle Beach from Chicago. It was a fun dinner - all of our entrees were outstanding, server was friendly and attentive, and drink selection was broad. We would definitely return next time in town!
Food was amazing!!! Try the filet or the crab cakes and you won't be disappointed. The oysters were fresh and the dessert was like a taste of heaven.
Bren was our waitress and she was AMAZING! She was kind, patient & she knew the menu. From the time we sat down until the time she said her goodbye to us she was truly phenomenal. We could tell we were dining with someone who really wanted us to have a breathtaking experience and we did! Thank you Brien; we'll be back because of the service & the awesome food. The grits & roasted potatoes were good.
Once again, Aspen Grille delivers! We have come to Aspen Grille to celebrate our anniversary for the past three years. Every year it seems to get even better. This year we arrived to a handwritten anniversary note at our table. Our servers were phenomenal and all their recommendations perfect! The food was spectacular! Won’t celebrate another anniversary without Aspen!
Food was good, but nothing special. Not innovative and a little boring. Service was excellent. Brynn was our waitress and she was training Richard. Both were helpful and Brynn was very knowledgeable.
This was our first visit to the Aspen Grille. It was definitely the best of all the restaurants we visited. The food, service and atmosphere were all excellent.
If you are looking for “fine dinning” this is the place creative menu, good wine list and good ambience . Not sure if it’s flip flops and shorts as no one that evening was in shorts. Definetley 4 stars.
Great atmosphere with live music. Everything was delicious, starting with the fried green tomatoes with crabmeat; lobster bisque also very well prepared.
A true 5* dining experience. The appetizers are at the top of any list - fried green tomatoes were without equal and the goat cheese crostinis were fabulous. The lobster bisque of rich and creamy and paired great with the warm, soft table bread.
We had the market daily fish special - which was a grilled grouper - it was very tasty. Topped it off with blueberry bread pudding which was another home run.
You will love this place.
We have been here twice already and would definitely come here again on our next visit , friendly staff, great service, awesome food , a bit pricier than the other restaurants I’ve been to, (not over priced )but it is so worth it.. I highly recommend it ..
Just an outstanding restaurant. Great food, atmosphere and service. We go every time we are in Myrtle Beach and it's such a wonderful treat. Can't wait to go back!
