My wife and I eat out a lot and are both good cooks, so we are pretty critical. We were a party of four and everyone gave the overall experience an “A”. Great Service. Oyster app. Excellent. Asian Apple salad good, but not great. I had the local flounder with shrimp. The fish was a little over cooked but overall flavor was good. Accompanied veggies very good. Braised short ribs, excellent. Lamb also excellent. Deserts were excellent. Overall price on the high side, but ok value. We would go back.
This was our second visit to Aspen Grille. Derek was a phenomenal server, and the food was outstanding. We will recommend this to our friends, especially for special occasions. Absolutely love Aspen Grille
Can always be counted on for excellent food and service. Our go to favorite for out of town visitors.
One of our very favorite dining restaurants.
Went here while in Myrtle Beach celebrating our 25th Anniversary. Brent, our waiter, was very attentive and knowledgeable and made our first time at the restaurant fantastic!! He had great suggestions off the menu as well as offering us options not listed. Scallops were amazing as was the Fried Green Tomato appetizer. Will be back to visit next time in MB!!
Enjoyed the fantastic food, service and ambience. We will dine here again!
Very inconspicuous location. Very good food, (steak and Scallops). Great soup and salad options. Very good service, and value for the dollar.
My rack of lamb was great; however, my husband was disappointed with his steak. He said definitely not worth the price. The service was outstanding and the singer very talented and unobtrusive. I would definitely go again if in the area.
Everything was Perfect. Excellent service. Server could tell we planed on enjoying our time there and never rushed us to order. Very nice to not feel rushed. A bit pricey but worth it for a special occasion. Great selections will definitely be back.
Excellent place to take the one you love for dinner.
Have previously dined here on our last vacation in Myrtle Beach. Aspen Grille was on our ''must return'' list. The food is creative, delicious, bursting with flavour. The service is second to none. Very attentive. Thank you
Excellent food and service. Only reason I didn’t give the overall 5 stars is because it was a tad chilly in the dining room. We will definitely go back. Pricey but the food was truly worth it and our server was excellent.
First time visit that did not disappoint! Bread was served hot with a crisp crust and freshly made. The warm goat cheese salad was a favorite with seasonal vegetables perfectly roasted. A delicious beginning. The flounder and shrimp dinner was cooked just right with a tasty sauce and vegetables. The vegetable plate was enough of a serving for 4 so plenty to take home! Green beans braised with bacon, roasted seasonal vegetables of butter nut squash, radishes, and acorn squash and braised Brussel Sprouts were full of flavor. Too full for desert!! Highly recommend this restaurant.
Our waiter David was wonderful! He was very attentive and made a few nice suggestions. My fiance and I were celebrating my birthday and our anniversary and it was a pleasant dinning experience for us both. They had a birthday card and an anniversary card on the table when we arrived. They were so sweet! We highly recommend the Shrimp and Grits, Mashed Potatoes, and Prosecco. My fiance loved the asparagus as well. We think this place might be a local gem and would suggest folks go and have dinner here.
First date, food was exceptional and the service was too. Exceeded expectations!
The best dinner we have had Everything was so delicious, fresh quality ingredients expertly prepared. Service was above and beyond. Would go there often if lived in the area
Enjoyed our last night in Myrtle Beach with a wonderful dinner. My sister & I were very impressed with everything...from the greeting when we arrived to our server’s cocktail recommendations & offering to split the soup to a scrumptious meal, everything was amazing!! Large portions (wish we’d have shared an entree so we could finish everything & maybe have tried a dessert). Will definitely be back if ever in the area again! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
We really enjoyed our meal at Aspen Grille -- the food and service were fantastic. It was quiet the night we were there and it is a nicely decorated and designed restaurant....way beyond the typical tourist restaurant. All our dishes were excellent. the scallops and the lamb were out of this world. Very glad we had a birthday dinner here and we will definitely return.
Phenomenal server. Great food. It was a great time.
We loved the duck, scallops and oysters!
We will return next year on Spring Break!!!
It has been awhile since we ate at the Aspen Grille. It won't be that long to our next visit. The food was as good (or even better) than we remembered. Drink and wine selection were expansive and varied. The server (Brian) was terrific, adding a wonderful touch to our dining experience.
Absolutely the highlight of our trip to Myrtle Beach, AMAZING food!!!!
We have been to this place numerous times. The food is always excellent, service was excellent also. A little pricey but worth it! No complaints here!
We go to the Aspen Grille every time we’re in town and we’re never disappointed! It’s a wonderful restaurant with great service and amazing food. Way to go! You always get it just right! We’ll be back! If you go, don’t miss the bisque if they offer it. It’s superb!
My husband and I had an absolutely delightful meal at Aspen Grille. The food was freshly prepared, our server, Mark, was very helpful in guiding to menu and wine choices and the ambiance was perfect for a nice evening out. My husband had a couple of special requests which were met with no problems. The fried green tomatoes were delicious as my starter and my husbands steak tips were so tender with lots of flavor that we each could have had them as an entre'! I ordered the Golden tile fish which was the chef's special. It came on a wonderful risotto that Mark recommended and was lightly topped with a wonderful sauce and grilled shrimp. We don't usually do dessert, but they had several that sounded so good we ordered one each! I had the blueberry bread pudding. It was so wonderful! My husband had the flourless chocolate cake that was like eating chocolate fudge--creamy, chocolatey and sweet. I would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant to anyone. It's an elegant night out.
This is a lovely restaurant with excellent food.
The one exception was the tempura lobster appetizer. The breading and frying totally obliterated the flavor of the lobster. (T could have been anything!!)
Brynn, our server, was terrific—very knowledgeable and personable!.
David waiter was great! Food was delicious, shrimp and grits, fried green tomatoes ❤️ Highly recommend!
Great atmosphere and excellent service and food. Highly recommended !!
My wife & I have dinner here whenever we come to town and it is consistently AWESOME; tonight was no exception. Tempura soft shell crab appetizer, lobster bisque - THE most delicious I’ve ever had - lobster stuffed flounder with cheesy grits & carrot cake cheesecake dessert- RIDICULOUS!
Aspen Grille is our special occasion go to place. It is always wonderful!
Everything was great . Waiter was very nice and very present . Only problem I had with was the lobster . Mine was very tough but still good .
We came to down to Myrtle Beach from Wilmington to celebrate my youngest sons 7th birthday and a local friend highly recommended Aspen Grille. Everyone was so nice and accommodating and the food was unbelievable. We will be back!
Great experience all around. We were looking for a fine dining experience around Myrtle Beach and Aspen’s really delivered. Everything from arrival to departure was 5 Stars.
A bit overpriced but good food
I was not impressed to say the least. Way overrated and overpriced. My friend opted for French fries instead of mashed potatoes and they were served UNDER his fish making them very soggy. Really? An experienced chef would have never done this. His fish which was the special at $38. was more than blackened: it was over cooked. My duck was so-so, the root vegetables were almost raw and cold. The waiter was making conversation with another customer while he had our fried oysters appetizer in his hands.... and yes, by the time they arrived at our table, they were lukewarm. It was a Friday night....was the chef not in the kitchen? Makes me wonder. We went there because I lived in California and was familiar with Domaine Chandon.....I was expecting quality but once again: mediocre food in Myrtle Beach.
Our visit was fantastic. Mark was our waiter and provided exceptional service. The meal was very creative and prepared to perfection. I would recommend this place to anyone that really enjoys a great dining experience.
Very good seafood and service was great
This is the best restaurant in Myrtle Beach....first class menu, wine list, service and ambiance! IOne place you shouldn't miss for a great night out.
Mushroom risotto was delicious. New Bedford Scallops were excellent.
Great food. Loved the attentive staff and lovely atmosphere!
