Hostess and waiter (Mark) were very attentive and made the occasion extra special. Food was really fantastic (both Flounder and Scallops) - compliments to the chef and service was impeccable. Highly recommended.
Outstanding dinner. Happened to be in Myrtle Beach for a golf outing and brought two old friends to celebrate our friendship of 50 years. Excellent meal topped off by wonderful desserts. Service was to notch, also.
Our waiter was great, our meal was delicious. However, when we arrived at 6:45 after church services, I needed to use the ladies room and it was not clean. I advised the hostess and they did clean it before I was served my food. I was surprised that they would not have a clean restroom so early in the evening. Very disappointing.
The blueberry bread pudding is to die for. Try the homemade 10 layer yellow and chocolate cake. Mark was a great waiter and remembered the name of our children on only our second visit.
It was excellent service food and it was very professional.
Food was very good....best filet mignon I've ever had. Got there at 5, so missed the live music.

Oysters on the half shell were fresh and delicious, our warm goat cheese salads with field greens, pecans and vinaigrette were tasty and well balanced. The bone-in ribeye steak Oscar was cooked perfectly to medium rare as requested. Sautéed vegetables - radishes, squash and peppers - were crisp, and succulent and not overcooked. The wine list, while not enormous, was quite extensive. Chandon Brut with the oysters, E. Gurgal Cotê du Rhone (myself) and True Myth Winery Cabernet Sauvignon (my wife) with the steak, and La Fleur D’or Sauternes for dessert were perfect compliments and were all excellent. Mark, our waiter, was terrific. The restaurant was accommodating of our dietary needs and request to split dishes. An all together EXCEPTIONAL dining experience!

Restaurant was a pleasant surprise. We had plans to go elsewhere but when we pulled up, realized it was closed. Next best, went to open table to find an alternate. Had some discriminating guests so the pressure was on.
When we pulled up to the outside wasn’t too sure but after we walked through the doors, we were put at ease for the moment. Live music was great. Not too loud but nice as a backdrop to conversation. Waiter was spot on and certainly knew his menu. Very impressive. He was very accommodating as we had a hard time deciding what to order. Sure the menu can sound good but what about when the food actually comes. Oh my was the best yet to come! Wine list was awesome. Food was beautifully presented and perfectly cooked and seasoned. Had the oysters Rockefeller and escargot and tuna appetizers. Spectacular! The meals were great with choices between full plates or slightly smaller portion in a “medium plate”. Also could change our sides to suit your palate, which was a nice option. Did the scallops over the recommended mushroom risotto in a medium plate. This was topped with a flash pan fried spinach. Amazing how the texture of the spinach blended so well with the dish. Others at the table ordered the market special (fish of the day) Grouper over rice and house-made succotash. I have never been fond of succotash, but fortunately always open to try it against. What a surprise! Absolutely delicious! The shrimp and grits order in medium dish was perfect portion after our heavy hors d’oeuvre’s. Was perfectly seasons sweet/salty with a wonderful barbecue flavored gravy. Our last guest had the flounder plate with succotash and was also highly impressive. Fish was cooked perfectly. Had had flounder the night before elsewhere and was sorely disappointed, Chef is certainly amazingly talented! Wines and cocktails for any taste! Our guests were highly impressed with every aspect of the evening. A great relief! Thanks Aspen! We will definitely be coming back!

My wife and I dined here while visiting Myrtle Beach and really enjoyed our dining experience here. The food was excellent, as was the service. The ambiance was also quite good. A jazz guitarist playing softly was an additional pleasure. This was by far our best restaurant experience in Myrtle Beach. I highly recommend it.
Waiter, David, was great. Food very good. My only complaint with this restaurant is the rest room access. Tough getting thru bar crowd to reach them,

Have dined at Aspen Grill a number of times. Always enjoyed it. Would recommend a more often offering of fish such as salmon, trout, sea bass vs Grouper and or Baramondi. Also would recommend smoke salmon and a smoked trout appetizers.
My granddaughter and I were spending the evening together and chose to spend it at Aspen Grille which was an excellent choice.

I have to admit I was expecting so much better. I ordered the filet 4oz and scallops it was 38 dollars I believe. The steak was suppose to be medium and came out well done. So dry. They finally did offer to take back but by the time that happened my husband would of Been finished eating. And the scallops I ordered a side to go with it and got two scallops..Now we love good restaurats but the dish was not worth what I paid.
Waitress was polite bit seemed rushed. Music was nice.
The anniversary card was nice they left us on table.
Derek was our server and was attentive and funny. The Valentines Day menu was excellent and well priced. The red velvet cake was the best we’ve ever had! Looking forward to our next opportunity to dine here!!
Of you are visiting murtle beach or live here the aspen grille is a must. Everything was perfect and the food outstanding as was bryn the server.

I love the ambiance here...the wine was super and so was the service....the onion soup was good but my scallop dinner was just ok.....something about the way it was served didn't do it for us....4 scallops surrounding a mound of rice with spinach on top...would have rather had it separated...the scallops tasted fine but not great....otherwise all was well....love the music, great lighting , comfortable booths, great service....would go back but would have to know what to order that I would be happy with
we have gone to apsen over the years for special occasions. We have not been there in about two years. we were a bit disappointed this time. it was noisy, lighting was bright, food was not as good as we had in the past. not sure if there was a new cook or what. my husbands steak was not that good. my pork meal was nothing special, in the past the food was outstanding and could only brag on it all. The presentation of the food was not what i remember, looked like it was just flopped on the plate. now the dessert was good home churned blue berry icecream and blueberry bread pudding.
we took home left overs, only to find out the cheap box that the food was put in, left paper on the food. We had to pick the paper off in order to reheat the left overs.
our waitress was ok, but not like Dee- that we have had in other years. The other waiters were loud.
dont think we will go back for probably another few years.
My wife and I were treated very well. The food was well presented, cooked well and was at proper temp. The fried oyster app was perfect. We split a green salad ( waiters idea well done)
The portions were well suited for the dollar ( were great for lunch the next day). The dessert was Great 12 layer cake Yum-Yum, Must have the coffee great blend. Only small comment was the Lamb was not lean enough ( watch the cook temp too.) I will be back, Great Place Thanks
