Aspen Grille did not disappoint last night. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly by the hostess who took us over to our romantic pre-set table.
Our server, Bart, did an amazing job going over the features and kept our drinks full and table clear throughout the courses. Our filets were cooked to perfection, compliments to the chef, and the sauce pairings were out of this world. I personally had the hunter's sauce, it started on the side before I smothered it over my entire plate. Both plates were wiped clean including the truffle mushroom risotto which came out exceptionally hot and creamy. We topped our evening with their classic New York cheesecake and requested fresh strawberries which they were happy to supply. They are in season and were the perfect last bite to a great evening.
In a city full of mediocrity, Aspen Grille proves to be a step above the rest. Looking forward to future visits and thank you for having us.

Aspen is our go to restaurant when we get in Myrtle Beach SC. My husband says if you want a good steak. Aspen is the way to go.. The food, service and atmosphere is the top of fine dining. It’s a little pricey, but well worth it. 😊❤️

When I travel I always go to the top rated restaurants in the area. I’m was very disappointed with Aspen Grille. My server was not interested in me at all and very unfriendly. I had the beet salad and it was great. Then I had the scallops with risotto and spinach. The spinach was not seasoned at all. The risotto was so underdone that it got stuck in my teeth and I couldn’t eat it. The scallops were the best thing on the plate but were not seared. I had creme brûlée for dessert. The sugar on top was so thick that it wouldn’t crack. It was like a large piece of candy. I had to remove it completely and eat just the custard underneath

Went for my birthday and it was delicious! I had the New Bedford scallops with truffle mushroom risotto and they were outstanding. My husband had the NY strip and loved it. We also tried the caesar salad, the calamari and the creme brûlée and they were all perfect. Our server Allison J was so attentive and kind... really an enjoyable experience over all. Can’t wait to go back!

Awesome experience from arrival to leaving. Special requests we made while making the reservation were honored, our server was new but still knowledgeable and pleasant, the food was impeccable (even reheated) We will definitely go again and again.

Today was my wife and my anniversary. The staff went out of there way to have a nice card and was very friendly.

Great experience on my wife’s birthday. The table was ready with a birthday card for my wife. They wished my wife a happy birthday several times. The service was good and the food tasted great. I really liked the triple chocolate cake. An overall great experience.

Wanted to love it because everyone was so nice but overall just ok. Sat at a bar high top and they must have forgotten to check on us as my husbands drink was empty for quite some time and didn’t notice until our food came out... Server forgot to give us a happy hour menu, not a big deal. Then forgot to bring us bread, had to ask. Ordered the scallops and it was cold... no one even noticed I barely touched it and I don’t like scallops re heated so unfortunately it was a waste of a meal for me. Then he forgot to take the happy hour cost off one of my glasses of wine and we left before happy hour was over, for a few dollars I didn’t care enough to say anything but still annoying as it wasn’t busy. My husbands steak was cooked perfectly but lacked flavor big time, definitely not worth the money. He always finishes his meal and this time, did not... But staff was all super nice and friendly!! Just wouldn’t go out of our way for the expensive food, much better options close by :/

My boyfriend and I visited Aspen Grille for a date night during our vacay to Myrtle Beach. We enjoyed the ambience, service, and food. We both ordered the roasted chicken. The mashed potatoes and asparagus was delicious. The only downfall was the chicken. Although it was juicy, it lacked flavor. However, that wouldn’t deter me from visiting again.

Seven thirty reservation. Was made. Rest called day before wanted to make it later. We refused. When we got there there were plenty of tables.??
Also veal chop ,which was fantastic had very little sause. I asked for more Charged 5.00. what a rip off.chop should have had much more sause at first. Potato soaked up most of it???
When you nickel and dime people you get a tacky reputation. Not pleased with that.

Overall great evening. My granddaughter was looking forward to having the chocolate 10 layer cake and you were sold out. I told her we would request to have a piece when we make reservations next time. Always enjoy your restaurant.

Very over priced. Used to go frequently and prices are 50 percent higher. Good, wine and quality no better. Will not be back.

Logan was an excellent server, he knew all the food choices, and he was very pleasant. Logan was the best!

First time ever service was marginal.

Featured appetizer ( char-broiled oysters) were Very disappointing. Was led to believe they were as good as Drago's in New Orleans. extremely small and no if any Pecorio Romano cheese.

However will be back...

Nice dinner. Liquor and wine a bit overpriced. For the price there should be a chef complimentary appetizer other than bread. Wasn’t blown away from a value perspective.

Delicious! Class act!

All five of us in our party were very happy with our dinners. The miso glazed salmon, my entree, was perfectly prepared with just the right amount of glaze. The accompanying brussel sprouts were crispy and just salty enough and the basmati rice was a great finish. The special entree of halibut was enjoyed by 2, and they raves about the beurre blanc sauce. The duck and also the 6oz filet were also excellent. Our waiter was engaging and knowledgeable and the entire evening was without any issue. Excellent!

Aspen Grill raised its level of sophistication on our last visit. Everything was magnificent from hello to goodbye.

If you want social distancing and expect a safe environment, DO NOT come here!!! We left early because it was crowded and tables were right next to each other!! It was not a safe environment!!! We will never go back !! We have eaten at many restaurants during this past year to try and support the industry, and all have been respectful of distance between tables, hand sanitizer, etc... this restaurant just wanted to pack people in as much as they could! We always eat early too, I couldn’t believe the disrespect to their customers!!!

Begin the evening with some excellent cocktails from the bar. Appetizers, salads, especially the beet salad, and entrées were all spectacular. We noticed several new additions to the wine list as well.

We have considered the Aspen Grille a special occasion location. It was elegant but the portions were small. This time we were impressed the servings were large and we had an excellent dinner.

A nice place for a good meal coupled with great service.
From the drinks to the appetizers to dinner and dessert, start to finish was amazing. We had the pork belly with shrimp and escargot to start with followed by dinner consisting of the scallops over truffled risotto and the bison meatloaf Wellington.
Two very delicious dishes that left us feeling very happy and full. We didn’t think we had room for dessert but we couldn’t pass up the blueberry bread pudding. The timing between courses was perfect . The cost was extremely reasonable. We can’t wait to return .

I/we have eaten at the Aspen Grille many times over the last several years and 3 times more recently after missing several months due to the pandemic. I have now eaten there 5 times since the new owner took over. I can honestly say that there has been no drop off in quality or service since the transfer. This is one of the top restaurants in Myrtle Beach and would be competitive for the same honor anywhere. They are taking sensible precautions for the pandemic, and it hasn't affected the wonderful ambiance.

My only suggestion for improvement is that I wish they would bring back the fried green tomato appetizer!

Great food and great service!

The food is always consistent and delicious. There was live acoustic music in the back ground ( just enough- perfect volume). Our server was wonderful and very knowledgeable. It's a great place to eat!

The food was amazing!!! We had a wonderful waiter, Mark, and he made our evening even more enjoyable! All his suggestions were spot on! We definitely recommend dining here and can’t wait until we do it again!

Service was great and so were the escargot, beet salad and sea bass dinner. Great place for special occasions.
