Everything was very good. Steaks were very high quality and perfectly prepared. Professional servers were efficient and attentive . Highly recommend
We were a little leary because of some negative reviews and what seemed to be a limited menu. Once we got there all of that disappeared. Except for a longer-than-usual wait for initial service everything was great. Service was good, good spectacular. I have paid more for less.
When we first walked in, it seemed extremely busy. Once we were seated at our table our hostess had let us know who are wait person was and they would be with us shortly. Our waitress was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and specials.
for the evening. As busy as it was we never felt like we were rushed or forgotten. The live music was a big plus. It was perfect.
Our dinner was very good. What stood out though was definitely the blueberry bread pudding with the salted Carmel ice cream. Omg!! It was to die for. I would definitely recommend this restaurant . It’s great for date night, get together, dinner with family and friends. I do recommend reservations since it was packed the night we went.
Our New Year's dinner was a huge disappointment. We were seated on time and the service was fair to good. However the food was only OK and the portions were extremely small, especially considering the fixed price of $89 per person, before drinks, tax and gratuity. Six of the eight diners ordered the surf and turf. It consisted of a smell fillet, five of which were overcooked, and half of a quite small lobster tail. At this price point, I have never been served less than a whole tail. You can make your own decisions, but I feel the entire evening was a way overpriced mediocrity.
My Sincerest apologies. After seeing this review I personally investigated this situation and the error on our end was terrible. Please contact me personally so I may take steps to correct this mistake. Thank you, Roland Sciotto - Owner Aspen Grille
Went there for news years eve and there was fixed menu. We were not aware of this when we made our reservations and found it disappointing and overpriced.
We celebrated New Year’s Eve at Aspen Grill. This was our first time at this restaurant as well. There was a special holiday menu so I cannot speak about the normal menu. However our 5 course meal was delicious. The only criticism would be the size and number of stuffed mushrooms provided as an appetizer. They were the smallest I’ve ever had and only 4. With that being said, it was a 5 course meal and we did not leave hungry. All four of us chose the surf and turf. It was a little less seasoned than all of us would’ve liked but all was cooked to order and tender. What impressed me most about this establishment is that because I did not like either of the dessert choices (yes I’m picky), they went out of their way and made me a creme brûlée. Thank you to the waiter for asking the chef and thank you to the chef for his willingness to make it. Obviously I can say the service was excellent. I wish I could remember the name of our waiter so I could compliment him. I think his name was David. Our glasses were always full and our empty plates never lingered. There was nice live music - not too loud. Overall we were all very pleased.
My husband and I revisited and we are so glad we did. The chef makes amazing sauce... Tarragon infused for red snapper fillets. Very fresh and fine tasting. The chutney and perfectly cooked pork chop will melt in your mouth. Well done, Chef. Great addition to Myrtle area. Desert put us over the top! See pic.
Great food selection, great service, and the jazz guitarist was superb.
Ml job celebration
Had our company Christmas dinner here and everyone was impressed with the establishment and staff. The dinner selection was awesome. If anyone left without a full stomach, it was there own fault! Will be back.
Great meal and excellent food. Not exactly best ambiance and had live musician that was kind of loud but only because we were sitting right in front of him (playing clarinet and was really good so not that bad). Half price wine at bar on Wednesday was great and great food. Recommend for business date or special occasion meal
Would I refer my friends. No
Would I return. No
Why...too many other good choices.
Server was excellent as was chefs service recovery from a poor entree.
Attention to detail for a pricey restaurant was substandard.
My guests were complimentary.
This is just an honest constructive review.
Best part...good cocktails.
Worst part. Disappointed with short ribs. Server offered scallops but returned w the same short rib entree replated poorly. Very disappointing. Too late for a replacement.
Dinner was comped and chef apologized which was fine.
But if you are the best of the best, you have to be better than this. Best of luck.
We were treated like old friends even though it had been several years since we last visited. Very warm welcome, wonderful cocktails before dinner, excellent service and an outstanding meal.
Best grouper I have ever had and I travel for a living.
Was extremely disappointed with the duck , it was fatty and cooked a little rare , scallops are excellent and escargot was very good
Okay, so we now have a new favorite dinner restaurant in Myrtle Beach. The Aspen Grille has phenomenal food and does not serve the typical Calabash style food you find in so many beach towns. The Elk chops and cherry sauce with mushroom pilaf and vegetable d’jour were amazing. Mark, our waiter, was fun, energetic and took care of our every need. He made recommendations that were spot on including the blueberry bread pudding with caramel ice cream for dessert. They had live music, which consisted of one person playing a variety of instruments (clarinet and sax) and it was not too noisy. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would definitely come back here for dinner we the next time we are in town!
74th birthday dinner
I really liked the service and ambiance of Aspen Grill, but I was very disappointed with my food which was the Flounder & Shrimp dish. The fish was very stale and hence it smelled. I should have returned it but I was too polite.
One of our favorite restaurants in Myrtle Beach! Every year we make sure that we come here for a fabulous meal.
David was our waiter and he was amazing.
Excellent food and service. Live “background “ music was a little too loud at times but is always a nice touch. A great special occasion place to dine
My wife and I were only in town for a few days. Several local individuals and theyb concierge at the hotel recommended this venue and we were not disappointed. The venue presented an quiet romantic atmosphere, the food was exquisite, and our waiter Mark made us feel welcome, appreciated, and was superior in his craft.
Excellent service. The food was outstanding, from the Caesar Salad to the bread pudding dessert. The sauces on the entrees were flavorful and the portions generous.
We enjoyed our dinner at Aspen Grill very much. It’s a beautiful restaurant and the food was delicious.
Great food, great service! Highly recommended
I dined at the bar. Very cozy and comfortable. Service was outstanding. I had the 6 ounce USDA prime fillet mignon that was served with a lump crab cake with potato and bacon braised green beans. My entrée was served hot and the fillet was cooked perfectly. I enjoyed it thoroughly.
Food was good. Everyone very welcoming and friendly.
Food was good and atmosphere was nice. The restaurant was a little louder than I would have liked, hostess wouldn’t relocate us to a booth despite there being a number open.
This was our second time at Aspen Grille. We sat at a booth near the bar section and it was a bit noisy but it wasn't annoying. I had the market fish which was grouper and my wife had the petite filet. Outstanding quality of food prepared exceptionally well. The service was good so no complaints. We were told the restaurant is in a transition to new ownership and some modest improvements will be made to the overall ambiance. Otherwise, not too much change.
The flounder was fresh & delicious as was the goat cheese salad. Our server was very good. We will be back next year when we come for our annual trip.
We arrived on time and they seated us promptly, our waiter was phenomenal and the staff was great. The food was excellent. When I visit Myrtle Beach again I will definitely revisit this place.
Our favorite restaurant in Myrtle Beach! We dine here every year during our annual trip. We usually order seafood & we’ve never been disappointed. The bread pudding is also delicious. David was our server for the last 2 times & he made sure that we had a most enjoyable meal. We will be back!
Everything was awesome! The food and service were top notch. The only downside was that the musician was loud for the atmosphere. I thought jazz would have been more appropriate. Everything was great otherwise. We will definitely be back!
We were there to celebrate a special occasion and greeted at our table with an anniversary card from owner and staff. The food was delicious, We had crab cakes and seared tuna for appetizers followed by shrimp bisque and Chef’s favorite entree of shrimp and flounder....all perfectly prepared and enjoyed. David our server was excellent. He was very attentive but never rushed us. We rarely get dessert but shared a vanilla bean brûlée. We highly recommend the Aspen Grille.
We love the bar at Aspen Grill especially Wednesday and Thursday evenings when they have live music. The staff is always warm and welcoming
Wife had a pan seared chicken plate that was just ok, kind of bland. I had a ribeye that was not a very good cut of meat, more like one of the old Ponderosa style steaks. Service and ambiance was good, Just the food did not live up to expectations, especially for the price!
The aspen grille is our go to restaurant when we are in Myrtle Beach.
It was very good overall. Great service. Piano player was entertaining. But overpriced. Caesar Salad was bland. Dressing had no flavor. And for $12 overpriced. We would still go back.
