Aspen Grill had the perfect ambience for our anniversary. Food was excellent and well prepared. Mark was a wonderful and attentive waiter. We loved it!
A bit pricey but old school service and steaks.
Meal and service was outstanding! Dave our waiter was on point and always there when we needed anything. Blackened grouper n shrimp was done to perfection. The pan seared scallops n mushroom risotto was tasty! Finally dessert was a delightful carrot cake cheesecake!! Will be coming back again soon!
Will was a great waiter - he provided excellent service and we’re happy to refer the next visitor! Thanks for remembering our bday and new job celebration.
Anniversary wonderful experience
Just wish they gave us a champagne or something as we were celebrating two anniversaries and our friends we brought loved it but were mentioning that
Always delivers, from food to service. everything was Excellent!!
Very good food, comes to the table nice and hot. Service very attentive
Good experience. Nice birthday celebration.
We were seated under a leaking air conditioner. When one of our guests got splashed, we were told to slide closer together. After more drips on the table, menu, etc., we were told to slide over even further. It was a known issue (at least that’s what our server said), but they still seat people at that table. Strange. The restaurant was not crowded so they could have moved us. The food was fine
Our favorite restaurant in MB for at least the past 10 years. It never disappoints - the food and service are always outstanding!
From the moment we walked in the door the wait staff was rude. Tried to move our reservation up and were immediately told no, so we sat at the bar instead. The bartenders were ageist and wouldn’t wait on us.
Excellent food, service and atmosphere with live music!
My wife and I celebrated or 37th wedding anniversary at Aspen Grille and it was terrific. We were looking for a nice restaurant and we were very pleased.
Love Aspen Grill. Wayne Cockfield provides a great ambiance as an entertainer and Chef Curry Martin is a true talent.
When in Myrtle Beach the Aspen Grille is a must for an enjoyable relaxed dinner with your loved one or family . The food was outstanding and the two person band singing in the bar added a great ambiance .
The menu looked right up our alley so, we booked a table through open table. We were provided a table right next tot he kitchen and it quickly became apparent that it was overly hot. Our waiter was sweating profusely and was happy when we asked him to ask the management to turn the ac up please. We then ordered drinks which took quite some time to be delivered to our table. We ordered salads and waited for what seemed like an overly long time, only to have one be the wrong salad. Finally the correct salad was delivered, (it was a beet salad) and the beets were either not cooked or undercooked. My companion’s romaine salad was bland. The tuna appetizer was delicious. We ordered 4 entrees and the 3 side plate. My duck entree was cooked so improperly I had to return it. The duck fat under the skin was not rendered so there was at least 1/8” of inedible fat under limp skin. In addition, the duck was so raw that I could not cut it.
During this whole debacle, our sides were not delivered. By the time the waiter remembered them, my three companions were almost finished their meal. Meanwhile, the chef offered to cook my dish again or make anything else on the menu. By this time, my party was also just about finished their entrees, so I just decided not to replace the entree. Our vegetable sides finally arrived and I had a few bites of them. The asparagus was great, the pea risotto was average and the crispy Brussels were mushy.
The remainder of my party’s dinners were as follows: the shrimp and grits was average, the filet was over cooked and the scallops were very good.
To add insult to injury, Our portion of the bill (2 cocktails, a salad, one entree and the shard vegetables was $100!!! I will never go again. Ecer
Appetizers were good, shrimps for shrimp cocktail were on the smaller side and overcooked. Had the market fish and the rice was slightly undercooked. Scallops were good.
Great couples evening out, away from the way too many chain restaurants in myrtle beach. Creative ingredients, great presentation. Enjoyed the blackened flounder special with cheese grits and asparagus. They were accommodating to a couple of adjustments needed due to dietary restrictions. Dessert was a pleasurable completion to a memorable evening.
Aspen Grille was fantastic. The food was absolutely delicious. The server was amazing. It was a little pricey but we knew that before we went. I would definitely go there again.
Mark was a great server. Very courteous and made you feel really at home. Extremely relaxing atmosphere and did I say that the food was outstanding for quality and taste. Best quality restaurant in Myrtle Beach. Always our favorite.
We went there for our anniversary. They gave us a handwritten card. The food and service were wonderful.
The food was fabulous, Loved the menu, fresh seafood options. Locally sourced vegetables. It was great!
Really terrific service and the food was outstanding!
It was okay.
Excellent food and service! Accommodates children as well!!
For a special occasion or just because the two of you deserve an incredible time out...
Exceptional as always
My wife said she wanted to give the chef a hug at the end of our meal. That sums it up.
Went for dinner with family. Just three of us. Our server was very nice but seemed very rushed and didn't spend a lot of time with us. The found was good but for the price point we were left wanting more. Plates seemed to need more seasoning. Overall our experience was a good one but they didn't quite meet our expectations.
Nice place with great atmosphere. Our waiter was excellent - fun and knowledgable. The food was SUPERB! Cannot wait to go back.
We were there for a Birthday dinner It was Saturday night & had a keyboard player singing. I had the crab cake appetizer & scallops for an entree. Food was prepared to perfection. Risotto was creamy good. Steak was cooked as ordered. Kids menu was plentiful. Good wine selection too. Highly recommend.
Great service. Great food.
We have dined here many times before and wanted to celebrate Father’s Day this past weekend. Unfortunately it seems the overall energy here was off. I fear there has been a change in either kitchen or management, and it just was not the same special, sophisticated experience we expect. The food was not as exquisite as we have had in each of our past visits. I see others have made similar reviews recently, so I do hope they get it together and save the brand! Free dessert is a nice gesture, but we expect our meal to be impeccable at $34 a plate!
Your loosing something!!!
Use to be a 10.
Sorry but not so top shelf. Needs a new plan. Food mediocre. Service- hurry up. Have had better
A bit high priced for the quality of food. This is the second time in a row that at least two meals were sent back under-cooked. Mistakes were made with the drink order, too. More attention to details is needed.
Very friendly and knowledgeable service, tremendous dinner, relaxing live dining music, and romantic setting all added to our fantastic dinner experience.
Food was magnificent!
We were visiting Myrtle Beach with our grandkids and decided to try The Aspen Grille. We all loved our food, the service was great and the atmosphere was quiet. I would highly recommend the restaurant.
Beautiful place, nice atmosphere, great service.
I would love to come back again.
