First time here and it was good. Please be aware it may be necessary to go up one or two flights of stairs - had I known I would have requested a table on the first floor (wife is having knee replaced in two weeks). Food was good as was the service, we'll be back.
Great food! Great service! Have been here several times before. Can be really noisy, but this night it was quiet and relaxing.
Took over 30 minutes to get our first drink. Wine glasses were dirty and had to be replaced. Some food was not hot when it arrived. Server seemed preoccupied with another big party in another room. We were very disappointed because we have had good experience there. Our total bill was over $500. I just expected better.
The food was just so-so. My wife like the salad, but the spring rolls were soggy. There was a bad smell when we walked into the restaurant.
I think we were the only guests there at the time we went, so that probably helped, but the service was great. Everyone was friendly. And I loved the ambiance. My friend and I both enjoyed what we ordered. I would definitely come back!
Delightful dining experience! Creative, authentic, and beautiful food. Wonderful, intimate venue.
The food and ambience were great.
The famous asiarita is gone as we know it. The mix is no longer available to the restaurant; however, they still make a good martini.
great food with awesome menu.
We had dinner as part of their anniversary celebration and will be going back again soon!
We had been regulars but had forgotten how great the food is!
Everything was great from appetizers to desserts and the great chocolate martini. And the atmosphere is quiet, and relaxing
This is a favorite restaurant and especially for special occasions for us. $65 plus tip is a little steep for casual dining for us. We love the creative blending of cultural tastes. The super sauces provide such a delicious addition to the meal. On this night we both had ordered Beed tenderloin, but learned after a wait that only one order was available. I chose braised beef, which was very tasty as well. Service was attentive though somewhat slow given the fact there were only three parties dining at the time. Overall, however, am able to say that the consistency is solid.
I had not been there for a few years; just a place I keep forgetting about. The Asiarita was perfect. The rib appetizer was great. The rest of the meal - gyoza, seafood stir-fry, ahi-tuna, and seafood ramen was good, but not particularly better than any other local oriental restaurant at almost 1/2 the price. I will go back though, because the place was undeservedly empty for a Saturday night.
Delicious food, lovely atmosphere that permits conversation without shouting. My colleagues were pleased to get to know this restaurant. One of Louisville's treasures!
Great place to have a quiet "zen" meal with friends or have an intimate date night.
The restaurant has so many seating options. Great for vegans and vegetarians alike.
A peaceful dinner that gives your palate a journey to the Far East.
Great meal as always. We had dinner outdoors a very delightful setting. Great Ginger Martini and fantastic service.
Nice and quiet and very ZEN. An enjoyable dining experience. The chef came and talked to us, the food preparation is great and it's not too expensive.
We enjoyed the Bourbon & Cigar Social. We had a very good evening with our friends. We enjoyed the Bourbon sampling and cigar smoking. Delightful time.
very disappointed. may have just been a bad night . wont risk it again... too many places to eat in louisville... kinda dirty as well.. just my opinion and in no way am i trying to tell someone not to go but i would not tell someone to go
The food is always good here! And the bourbon cocktails are wonderful. It's a great place for conversation too.
Wonderful Sunday late afternoon meal. Had never gotten to this well regarded place. Stopped by after a movie and exhibit at the Speed. Had the medley and the veg tasting menu and a bottle of bubbles. Great, friendly service. Wonderful duck, tempura, beef, desserts. Really complex flavors and spices that lingered on the palate. The chef honored us w a visit to the table. Many terrific restaurants in this town but putting this on the "return soon" list.
After Kentucky Derby. Everywhere else was booked, this restaurant had high ratings but no one was going. It turned out to be an OK choice, a lot of potential here, they have a great chef but that's about it.
This was my second trip to Asiatique and I was very pleased - again. I was a bit surprised there was a buffet but loved it because there were so many choices. It was delicious!
Great food and service. Eating on outside patio made for a wonderful evening. Always a top notch experience. One of Louisville's best.
Always good. We normally sit at the bar and nosh apps, but took out-of-town guests for a sit-down dinner. They loved it and were, frankly, little surprised to find a place like this in Louisville. Duck nachos a big hit. Tuna, steaks, grilled salmon -- all perfect. Something different, for sure, but flawless. Greatest irony is this Asian fusion restaurant has the best margaritas in town. Go figure.
Fantastic as always. Seafood quality is outstanding.
Always fantastic. Hadn't been in years since moved from Louisville but have to say one of best in Louisville. Chef and Menu is amazing!!!!
Although we were upstairs, the noise from the bar downstairs was so loud we had to almost yell to hear each other.
Good Local Place with very interesting menue
They have outdoor seating weather permitting
A bit pricy but worth it
Decided to meet up with friends on a dreary Monday night. It was my first visit to Asiatique despite the restaurant being just down the street from my house. Kicking myself for waiting so long ... we really enjoyed the evening and can't wait to go back. The cocktails were perfectly crafted, our meals were delicious and beautifully presented, and the service was spectacular. As an added bonus, the restaurant was participating in 502 Restaurant Week which gave us the opportunity to try several different offerings at a very reasonable price. I especially enjoyed the tofu over coconut risotto. It was full of flavor! We sat at a very comfortable table near the window and admired the outdoor dining space. I imagine it is lovely when the weather is cooperating.
The quality of the food is good, but drink prices are priced pretty high for average quality.
Great place. We went here for 502 Restaurant week. So for the both of us, we were able to try 2 apps, 2 entrees, and 2 desserts. It was an amazing deal.
In looking at the regular menu, I'm not sure if the value is there on an average night. I intend to go back and give it a shot. The prefixed options look like the better option here as opposed to ordering off the menu.
Loved the bar area, service & majority of the food.
My wife and I went as part of the 502 Restaurant Week. The food was very tasty and plentiful. The service was friendly and attentive, without being overbearing. The music was a bit loud for my taste, but not so loud that conversation was hampered. Overall, a very nice introduction to the restaurant. I expect we will return.
Great food as always.
We very much support independent local restaurants and we hand't eaten at Asiatique before we thought Valentine's Day would be a great opportunity. They had a prix fixe menu so selections were made upon seating. The food service was way to fast which meant much of the food was prepped way before ordering which was reflected in the diminished edible quality of the food being served. The poached pears in the salad were slim; the tempura shrimp were not tempura and it was very greasy but the vegetable was cold upon arrival and should have been sent back to heat up but the real kicker was the creme brulee dessert in a trio of thimble size serving containers. This was the first time a member of our party went home from dinner still hungry. This was our first experience with Asiatique and I don't think we will be returning.
We went for the Lunar New Year special. I had the dim sum platter off the special menu and it was fabulous!
This was the second time I have been to this restaurant. They have some great signature cocktails and the appetizers are great to split. Everything I've tried here has been fresh and very delicious!
The wok seared salmon is fantastic! I don't like salmon except at Asiatique. You will not find anything like this dish anywhere else.
always a great dining option - food/service near perfect
NYE dinner; was prix fixe and value was a touch skewed. Food and service were solid. Will return.
