The ambient, the decoration and the view are astonishing. The service is very good. But the food ... deserves more attention. We have the tasting menu and it was not what we expected. Very expensive for what is offered.

We came to Asiate for dinner again. We ordered the tasting menu. The food is even better than that of last time. The creation and taste of the food are excellent. The Wagyu Beef is a must order. The service is also as good as it was.

The ambience and atmosphere of the restaurant is definitely top tier. It’s comfortable and the view of Central Park is very nice, especially with the lights in the dining room. I’d say that the food isn’t “exceptional,” but I’m not a food critic so excuse my taste buds for not being refined. For my occasion, it was very fitting. I would definitely go again.

We were not impressed with the service or food. We spent $700 and did not order bottles of wine. The food was ok but not near the level we expected. Do not recommend.

A magic moment. Everything was perfect from the greetings when we arrived to the end of the dinner. Exceptional view of New York. We expect that kind of service from Mandarin Oriental. Thank you for the moment.

Excellent service, beautiful set and marvelous view from the top of the 35th floor on the Time Warner Building!
Now, about the food, the least I can say is that it was disappointing.
It was a previous set Valentines menu, starting with some breads (none of which came warm to the table), followed by a tiny little oyster as a starter (which I swallowed without even noticing it), a Foi Gras with Black Truffle with no taste at all (although the two ingredients are known to be very tasty) as a second course, a Wagyu ok as an entrée, and a good White Chocolate Mousse as dessert.
The price for that? Although I was aware and willing to pay for a well done food in a very nice ambience, it was definitely very high for what we’ve got.
My wife’s opinion? The same as mine, but for the Entrée, which for her was not even ok.
By the way, when we were leaving, Annabelle and her colleague, whom have treated us very well all the time, asked us about our experience, which we honestly told them. I hope they have told management about it.

Complete package of amazingness. Great staff, food, service and view. Dined on Feb 13 for a birthday and were seated at a very special table. Had a sumptuous 3-course. Grapefruit juice was a hit. And course the birthday dessert (yummmm)!

Everything was good, the food, the view, the service. Although the waiter added a cheese plate that we didn’t order to our check. It was a small mistake but it wasn’t pleasant. Anyway Asiate is a nice place with a great view.

Pre-valentines dinner. I am a fan. Dinner was great I’ll eat here again. I had Lamb my wife had the duck both cooked exactly how we wanted. Appetizers were Foie Gras and octopus. The food and view were awesome.

Absolutely amazing views. The appratizer course was average. The second beef course was outstanding. The dessert was fair as well. The service was seamless and outstanding.

After checking the menu on OpenTable, I made a reservation for lunch only to discover the menu was incorrect! The price fix lunch was $45 not $38 And the appetizers online were not the ones served by the restaurant, neither of which I was able to eat because of dietary restrictions. Either open table or the restaurant should update the listing. I found portions on the regular menu to be small. For example the serving of “turnips” which came with the duck breast consisted of three small wedges the size of a grape! On the plus side service was attentive And the view magnificent.
