Super food and service... love it!!
Beautiful location, but quality of food is poor
Everything was perfect from start to finish! The view and the food were both awe inspiring. A couple of us had the tuna appetizer and our mouths kept tasting different delicious flavors. The lamb entree was my choice and again the different flavors on my plate definitely pleased the palate ! The olive oil poached salmon was less inspiring but each dish was really superlative. Even our teens were in heaven! And I have to say that all of the staff made us feel welcome and we’ll cared for. I thought the boys would be uncomfortable in a fancy restaurant but they were spoiled by everyone. There is a reason we will always return here!
What a view! Spent a nice evening out at Asiate. Good food, very good and attentive staff made for a a nice evening. Come early as to see the great views....
Service is first class. Food excellent. Will return.
The food was disappointing given the high ranking and cost. We were comped for our drinks as a result which was lovely. The wait staff and manager recovered nicely.
the waitress there was not so friendly
It is a good place with a fabulous view, I went there for celebrating Anniversary with the boyfriend, we took very good picture there. It was a good memory.
Excellent fine dining with great park view. Fine service and extensive wine list
Fabulous view, fabulous food!
There’s really nice ❤️ thx guys
Outstanding, Food is delicious! The service is excellent, every single person of the staff very polite. The decoration of the place is beautiful and sophisticated, the restaurant is modern a nice touch was that every table had fresh purple flowers. The view is to die for. The visit worth it every single second! Just amazing .
Excellent dinner at Asiate, creative food, superb service, extensive wine list, combined with the views of Columbus Circle and beyond. Expensive, but always a good choice for a special occasion.
Great place , fancy, excellent food
Lovely place with overpriced bad food. Sounds weird but thats what they are.
Food did not meet expectation for $130 brunch for 2. Tartar and cod were salty , burger was alright, dessert were below average. When asked for window seats since there were three tables empty, they said those were for reservation when their website specifically says they don’t take reservation for window seats.
Fantastic meal-beautiful view-attentive service. A very enjoyable evening
It was a wonderful night!
We booked Asiate expecting their usual Asian-French influenced menu. Instead when we received the menus we were told there was a visiting chef from Barcelona and the menu was only tapas. While it was interesting, it was not what we went there to eat and there was no alternative. It was late and pouring rain outside so we stayed. While the food was interesting, it was not our “cup of tea,” and we wanted a normal meal, not a few small dishes.
Frankly the restaurant and Open Table should have advised us when we booked of the different menu and style of food that night. We should not have been put in that awkward and unpleasant position upon opening the menu.
Después de haber estado varias ocasiones en su local de Barcelona,su local de Nueva York no nos ha defraudado, todo lo contrario, sorprendido y de buena manera.El menú del chef espectacular,el trato sublime,y el local increible
We had a reservation at noon. The restaurant opened just around that and the service was quick. We tried to order tasting menu but since there's a raw oyster in it, I asked if I can exchange it for something cooked (since I do not eat raw shellfish) but was told chef is "rigid" in no exchange. I dined in many venue in the city with similar or higher quality but this was the first time I heard about this kind of "no exchange" policy, as patrons' personal preference various. Other than that, food was good albeit the quantity is on the low side. Service was friendly and prompt and view of central park is certainly a fixture here.
This was a splurge for a tourist weekend and the view is spectacular. When they noticed that a table by the window had opened up, they moved us from our original table to the window. Fabulous service.
Fantastic experience. View and food were great, the service was excellent, and the wine pairing really added value to the meal.
While this is expensive, it is worth it.
Amazing views and service! The food is not only beautifully presented but also delicious and flavorful. Excellent cocktails. Definitely worth it.
Such a nice restaurant.
Really nice, great service and views!
A friend of mine was visiting from Japan. The restaurant staff gave us a fabulous window table. It was a prixe fixe brunch. A little pricey but to be expected. Overall, a lovely experience. Breathless view.
Best birthday ever! Amazing service, the food was on point and the view. Thank you so much guys ❤️
We went for dinner after our elopement and it was fantastic!
Overall great experience! Their services was amazing since even before going, I had gave them a call, top notch service- from beginning to end!
Superb in all aspects!!! Love this restaurant!!!
We arrived on time and were seated immediately. The views from our window seat were spectacular. Our waitress came over to us was was very informative. The choices for the brunch were good and the time allowed to eat and digest the food were excellent. We were not rushed and I would highly recommend Asiate
Magnificent experience for my husband on his birthday celebration!
Service from start to finish was excellent
Everyone was so attentive!
Decent restaurant for special events like celebration, anniversary, meeting, and dating. It gives you a healing or reshment with beautiful views and astonishing foods.
Food was lackluster. Flavors didn’t really go together, for instance the scallops appetizer had a green sauce that was terribly bitter and overwhelmed the delicate taste of the scallop. I honestly thought it was a mistake. Then the main course came out and it had what seemed to be a lemon curd with my lamb that seemed like it belonged on a dessert. Cod was completely over cooked and tough. Portion sizes were ridiculously small for appetizer and main and then generous for dessert, so the proportions were all off.
If you just want a fantastic view of the city and don’t really care what you’re eating then by all means visit Asiate. Otherwise stay away.
Disappointed. Hadn’t been for ~10 yrs & had fond memories. Service was sub par. Food was delicious, but not spectacular as I recalled.
If you are looking for a higher end restaurant with lovely food presentation and a view that is simply magical, then this is the place for you.
The experience was excellent the food was on point the view was outstanding the staff made is feel welcomed and never felted rished
