We went to Asiate the night the mayor shut down the restaurants at 8PM. I felt really bad for all the wait staff and hostesses. They had a limited menu (probably the room service menu for the hotel). The waiter was extremely courteous under really unfortunate circumstances. I wish all of them the best in this awful time.
Beautiful view, great service
Food was mediocre, view outstanding. Very pleasant service
Beautiful environment, great food and great service. Felt very comfortable and not rushed out at all. Would recommend!
Amazing view. We went there for brunch. All good
Amazing food. Deserves Michelin star
My experience at Asiate was just simply "okay". Food was good but not exceptional with a somewhat limited menu. The view was interesting but not exceptional and the whole experience was just a bit overpriced.
Very beautiful experience
Disappointing - lovely space & view but embarrassingly mediocre and expensive.
The food was nothing to write home about but the views were amazing and the staff was extremely friendly. Had sunday brunch for my father's birthday and it did not disappoint!
Our server was amazing. She was patient, accommodating and friendly with our toddler and my elderly parents. I wish I knew her name... Food wasn't mind blowing but it was still solid and delicious. Views were great. ONCE AGAIN, SERVICE WAS OUTSTANDING.
Our servers messed up our billing and payment. Forgot to split the payment, instead charged it all to one card. And then misplaced the second card.
Excellent dining experience there. The service is very very good, staffs has done everything beautifully: greeting at beginning and engaging with guests during service. Especially Slim the Somm who is professional, passionate and smart. Will come back and also recommend to others too.
Great service and atmosphere
Good moments with special friends
Amazing service and ambience
For sure you pay this service but you know before booking ;)
Timely service until your pre fixe dinner is complete... then the attentiveness seems to fall off. Restaurant was half full and it was a Sunday... the food is exceptional. Worth the effort and price tag. Hoping it may have been an off night.
Great high floor restaurant with good quality food and great service. The portion of the food is slightly small, and the salmon is mediocre, but the beef short rib is a hit. Overall 5 star experience.
A really good place for couples because of its peaceful and chill environment. However, there is still a huge space for improvement of food.
We had a wonderful dining experience for our anniversary. The staff was attentive and the food, delicious. Will be back again to celebrate special occasions.
Great experience and place to bring your favorite partner!
amazing ambiance and views, although overall food was uninspiring an service was mediocre
The food is alright, kinda too expensive for the quality of the food. Great view, I guess I was paying for the view instead of the food. Very good service. Great for couple date.
Thé quality of the food decreased but the location is fantastic
I was not happy with the food. It was way overpriced and the portions were ridiculously small. I ordered duck, which made me very sick the next day.
The atmosphere and the service is nice , but the food is a disgrace. I will not go back again.
Great location with nice views. Cozy feel to the restaurant but very polished and sophisticated at the same time. Brunch menu had a nice variety of options and everything was really good. Service was also quick and with minimal intrusion.
Excellente! Beautiful view, good food!
If it wasn’t for the pompous, dismissive, condescending tone of our server, this would have been a wonderful experience; despite the disappointment of three of our six dishes from the set menu. The squid and lamb dishes were truly incredible dishes, with exceptional complexity of flavours, superbly tender texture and brilliant technique, the duck was good, the burrata beet salad, creme brûlée and tropical ice cream dessert was very average in both design, flavour and quality.
I’m not sure how a kitchen can serve such a hit and miss food experience but that’s what it was.
However the real disappointment was our server, who was totally out of his depth in a restaurant or this price and status. He had no idea how to describe some of the ingredients, tried (and failed) to anticipate our questions before we even asked them and was genuinely condescending in his tone, for reasons we cannot explain.
This meal was paced well and the other servers were wonderful, but our experience ensures that we would never return and could not recommend Asiate to anyone. Sorry
Es muy elegante y la atención es excelente, pero la iluminacion en los cubillos es muy poca y no puedes ver lo que estas comiendo. la vista de la ciudad es muy buena.
We had a reservation last minute, we requested a window table but we were not sure that we’re going to get it however we had a beautiful surprise when we got there and the window table was waiting for us. Thank you to the Maitre’D or to the Management for that. The food was amazing we tried different caviar that was really great and the whole menu was really delicious Daniel from Mexico was our server and he was great, very funny very knowledgeable and on the same time a great photographer too. Thank you so much for making my birthday so special
Way overpriced. 4-star environment and pricing with sub-par service and just ok food. The servers were lovely but undertrained for this kind of a place. We won’t be back.
One of the best dining ever in nyc!
Amazing view of Central Park and 57th St. Excellent food. Great staff.
It is a beautiful space. The breakfast table for 3 was not very comfortable and awkwardly located for 2 person business conversation compared with prior visits using booth seating or window seating for two away from waiter stations and people walking by. For the record there were empty tables so not a matter of choice- perhaps because a woman booked the table not the man??? The coffee was not very hot and the food was at best average. The premium pricing requires premium food. Service was fine not great. Be more aware of people needing the right space for business breakfast and buy a ripe tomato.
Everything was perfect!
But I asked for the window seats which were already booked...
The window view of CP still is the best of the best in New York. The Sunday brunch, with its limited menu, are so so. The dinner menu offers lot more interesting and some good dishes.
The hostess was unpleasant, which is the first face and interaction guests have. The food was average. I was not impressed with the three course brunch selection (I had the beet salad, chicken and waffle, and bread pudding). The server was attentive, but as previously stated, the host was not impressive as the initial encounter. Will not return.
The team at Asiate was very responsive and service was impeccable. The plate presentation and food offering was amazing and we were thrilled with the Wine Director, Slim suggestion in wine for the evening- the bottles you recommended went very well with every dish served. Thank you for making this dining experience, one that we will all remember for years to come!
Salute!
Excelente lugar! Es costoso pero merece la pena ir. Recomiendo la tarta de tuna.
Everything was exceptional from views to service and food. We had a great brunch and never felt rushed.
Stunning view of Central Park, fantastic food and amazing wine selection with bottles showcased in a shimmering crystal wall matched by superb service...we had a gorgeous dining experience!!
