thanks god they will so kind , gave us the window seat for brunch. Will be back for dinner for sure ~~ the food and service was outstanding!!!
It is a tourist trap. Mediocre food and service. Good sommelier. Not up to NYC cuisine. The
Only plus is the view. I asked for a window table and they lied about having reserved window tables. Those tables were empty throughout our stay.
Go at your own risk.
Fabulous...the food, the atmosphere the service was top notch in one of the most beautiful spots in Manhattan. Our group of 5 women enjoyed almost every menu item and each one was unique, beautifully presented and prepared to perfection. The prix fix menu is fairly priced for the quality although the wine list is quite pricey.
The best view in town, refined atmosphere and attentive staff with menu that has just the right thing for everyone!
We came here for brunch and were pleasantly surprised by the choices on their pre-fix menu. Choices are pretty good and ambiance is just fab with amazing views of central park. Totally worth the $
The ambiance, the staff and the view was amazing. :)
The evening was perfect, it was our engagement dinner and we were very well catered for, especially by the Brazilian sommelier .
It was very good, but at the end we wanted to get a picture of us with the views, and a server called Maryann or something like that was very impatient while we were very respectful asking to take us a picture.
Elegant setting, great service, quiet, good for conversation
Trying to celebrate our wedding anniversary. However, the pounding LOUD club MUSIC from the upper floor ruined the mood. Service was a little slow in the beginning. But the food was delicious.
This restaurant is highly overated. Service was not goid for a fine restaurant. Waited too long for water. Service was not on time, had to adk for bread. I was seated but others were served before me. You pay for service ,but it was not good. Ambiance is good, apart from that i would not recommend it.
The overall experience was good but not sure why they asked the occasion, as it doesn’t have any impact on the dinning
Food was not up to par at their peer level.
Impeccable service, although it was Monday night so not many tables. We got a window table overlooking Columbus circle. We had a special chocolate mouse birthday cake for my friend and it was delicious (complimentary). Food is outstanding but that was expected for the price. Definitely a great place to celebrate a special occasion. I think for the view, day time or sunset might be better as we could not see Central Park.
Équipe très attentive, les plats très bien présentés, rapport qualité prix très bon
Went for my girlfriend’s birthday. I requested two glasses of champagne when we sat down and they brought them right over. We did the chef’s table with the wine pairing, and the sommelier explained each wine perfectly. The food, wine, and atmosphere was perfect, and the staff are incredible.
Great food, but we went for the view and ambiance.
The most beautiful restaurant in New York, outstanding views.
We were lucky enough to sit by the window. The service was perfect and food was even better. Definitely recommend coming here. We went for brunch and there was lots of choice. The staff were very helpful, polite and ready to answer any questions.
Went for lunch and anxious to return for dinner. Really excellent service and good food in a beautiful setting.
It was being great
Came here with the wife as late Valentines Day dinner. Everything was very good. The view of Central Park/Columbus Circle was amazing. The service was helpful in navigating the food and wine options and very personable. The price was a bit high but I thought the value for everything was completely worth it. I would recommend this place to everyone especially those looking for a nice date spot.
Valentines dinner. We had the 6-course Chefs Tasting Menu with wine pairings. All superb. While we did not have the coveted window seats, we did have one of the spacious, comfortable, and private banquets along the side, which added to the sense of a special occasion.
The food for nearly each course was incredibly over salted. The dishes were mediocre. Pluses were the view, wine and service. Just don't go for the food. It's not worth the $975 price tag for 2.
Food is extremely bad. This is the worst meal I have ever had in this country. I have no idea why meal with this price can be bad like this.
Nos encanto la comida y la vista está increíble!
We’ve been to Asiate several times and we always come out happy and satisfied. Great ambiance, excellent food and service! For two people, we ordered octopus, Caesar salad, short ribs, roasted chicken, chocolate cake, pineapple cake. All delicious and visually impressive.
It’s a beautiful place the food is little overpriced for what you get but I guess your paying for the view.
There is absolutely no reason to go to this restaurant unless you are staying at the hotel have broken legs, starving or just too lazy to go out. NYC is full of the most amazing restaurants with delicious one of a kind cuisine, this restaurant is not one of them. Food is horrible came out flavorless and cold, their website states they offer "inventive cuisine" far far from it and no I'm not exaggerating. But the staff was very friendly and professional. Anyone giving this diner more than 3 stars never ate good food
Honestly one of the most gorgeous restaurants I’ve ever been to...
The views were great, service was good but the food was not what we would have expected for the price we paid. The entrees we had were lacking in flavor. The burger was clearly a premade frozen patty that lacked any taste, the french fries were over cooked to the point they were to hard to chew. The 3 egg omelette just had no flavor to it at all.
Feel not worthy to go to this expensive restaurant, food so so, view so so, services so so, the waiter spilt coffee in the cup, didn’t put correct dish to me, I have to exchange with my friend. Not expect to have this series and when I asked more about the drink, the waiter not really nice to response
The environment was very good, the food was decent, their desserts were amazing, but the service wasn't the best. They did not take the time to explin the menu, or even ask how it was going. It would be better as a lunchtime place, since I went at night and could barely see the outside view of central park. Hopefully when I go next time, I don't recieve this service.
The view and the food is so good! Nice restaurant!
Food is soso because amount is too small for the price
but service is great
Food was really mediocre, same with the service, they don’t care at all if you like the food, the only advantage was the ambiance, great view, but poor value. I can have same quality of good at 1/4 price.
Great service, great food, great experience! Would definitely recommend it.
We had the chef tastings menu, which was excellent, compared with the wine pairing. Pricey, but worth it for a special occasion.
Service and food were excellent 👍
After attending "The River Cafe" last year for our Anniverary, and me wanting to try something new, I found Asiate. I searched the internet and eventually came across Asiate, which seemed like a great fit. The reviews seemed great, and overall was hoping for just as good of an experience. Although it wasnt spectacular, it was good. My true and only complaint would have to be the service, and the actual portions of the food. Unfortunately, the hostess forgot my girlfriends drink, and after 15 minutes, I couldn't wait any longer. In addition, the food portions were just too small for my liking. I expected small portions, but these were just too small. Nonetheless, the food tasted excellent and the view was quite nice. Perhaps I'm being too biased to The River Cafe, as it's a restaraunt that is hard to beat, but I just expected an experience one step below that of The River Cafe.
I would recommend the restaraunt to those that dont mind paying for great food, but small portions, but also to those that would like a good view of central park.
Was told me had a Window booth but it was the only one without a park view. They did however move us to a better table as soon as they could.
