What a view! Please go and see that incredible view over Central Park.
Wonderful dining room, very high end. Lots of space and a lovely relaxed atmosphere.
The food is pretty spectacular. An interesting mix of inspirations - Spanish, Japanese, American - and all very well executed.
A special mention for the service. Perfect.
We left feeling happy and relaxed. Exactly as it should be. It is expensive ($600 for two, including wine) but very happy we went.
Great food and a wonderful experience all around. Thank you!
we were there to celebrate my friend's birthday. the food was very average and the service rather indifferent. globally the experience was disappointing.
i wanna go again with my friends
pretty cool dinner
never forgot that moment
Great place, amazing view of Central Park, delicious food.
The service was not that good. All the servers seem to be rushing.
Everything was absolutely beautiful, from the view over Central Park, the food and wine and the great service, we really couldn't find a fault to this wonderful restaurant.
The view was amazing. I just wished the food matched.
Friendly and professional staff. Bread with butter was very tasty. Food was amazing. The view was lovely too. Make sure to reserve ahead of time because window seats are available on a first-come-first-served basis.
overrated, un sophisticated hotel scene, too much light bad atmosphere, very limited menu
La experiencia fue excelente
Los platos muy bien diseñados y servidos
Cocina de muy alta calidad
Ambiente y Vistas impresionantes
Il servizio è stato all’altezza del cibo e della location...impeccabile!
Il prezzo finale vale assolutamente la qualità del cibo proposto nel menu e la spettacolare vista su manatthan
Delicious food unexpected flavors fantastic desserts in a gorgeous location
Beautiful location, well appointed and felt open yet intimate at the same time as diners are well separated into sections. Food was delicious and well prepared. However, there were at least two occasions in which our orders were incorrectly taken or delivered to our table - one wine order and a dessert order. While we did not bring up the point during the meal for the staff to correct (it wasn't worth the effort), it seemed out of character for a restaurant of this caliber. Wait staff were also somewhat stand offish.
Disappointing brunch menu beyond words. Service slow and pretentious. Food tasteless and overpriced. We had the tuna tartare with caviar like eggs the tuna had no seasoning the caviar was decorative only. The main course was an omelette with cheese asparagus and mushroom. The cheese was cream cheese and the the whole plate was bland. The desert was a thin slice of coconut cake equally bland.
The view however exquisite. Next time we will go to the aviary lounge without hesitating.
Good food but not worth the price. Amazing views though!
The view of Central Park and Building was amazing! Also server was so kind.
Actually the food was really x4 bad. I expected good brunch, however brunch menu was....horrible. I spent 128$ without tax for 2 person. I think the cost of veiw was 100$ and food was only 30$.
I know they are not the Michelin restaurant, but It's a restaurant in 5 stars Hotel! I cannot believe it.
Even though they are in the 5 stars Hotel, I think they need something awesome idea for the food!!!
The atmosphere is the selling point. The service was wonderful except they didn’t refill water easily, which was unexpected and probably not the norm. Very friendly and attentive service otherwise.
The food was very good, not the best, but the ambiance and the view of Manhattan sort of compensated for the one missing star that would have elevated our experience to perfection.
Pro. Asiate has fabulous wine collection. My friend really enjoyed wine-pairing with tasting course. Central Park and CPS street view from the 35th floor is stunning. Perfect place to bring visitors to enjoy "the New York skyline."
Con. It's been quite a while since I dined at Asiate last time. Their food used to be very creative, unique and devine. It was true collaboration of Asian ingredients and Western cusinary culture. Saddly, those special qualities have gone. Their food is now just regular (good) continental we can have somewhere else.
I felt service was a bit rushy. I needed a bit more time to enjoy food.
Service was excellent. I thouroly enjoyed my meal. The restaurant and bar closed early unfortunately .
Amazing and wonderful views, the personal is excellent and the food is extreme taste.
Vistas estupendas. Ambiente muy agradable. Excelente servicio y comida. Respondió a las expectativas.
Too bad there were young parents with a screaming child during my (what I hoped to be as quiet brunch) brunch, which ruined my experience. Otherwise, it would have been perfect.I understand the restaurant can't say or do anything about children screaming but parents need to "get it". Don't bring screaming babies to this caliper of restaurant to ruin others' experiences!!!
This place was our “go to” for special occasions for years. The first time we went years ago we sat near the window but ever since we request window seats but never get them. Figured if its noted as special occasion and there are open seats when we get there we could get them but that wasnt the case. There are a few other restaurants in that building with spectacular views that I will look into
The location is unbeatable. The service is excellent. The food is varied and interesting, but not as good as I remember it from previous occasions.
Three kids and one adult. Tasting meny. No taste. Totaly uninspired. Course three were served When to kids were at the toilet. Sweet potato and driedcarrots...
We had one sparkling. Three glass of wine. 4 cokes.
Totaly cost for the night: 600 USD!!!
Its a joke. NEVER AGAIN.
Noeone said goodbye. Waiters seemed tired and the food had Absolutely no taste at all!!!!
I love the setting and view. The food was very good, but the prices were extremely aggressive for lunch. I would recommend this to a friend, but warn of the prices. Many other choices for good food in NYC with less aggressive pricing, but you are really paying for the view.....
Courteous staff and delicious (though pricey) food. Unbeatable view of the park as well.
For the price we paid.. food was way below expectation.. not at all impressive considering this restaurant is housed in the Mandarin Oriental. The staff was v courteous and the ambience was really nice but not worth the price.
Atmosphere is great. Love the view. However, the food didn’t live up the expectation.
Meh. Food mediocre at best. Service same. Don’t need to go back.
I love Asiate, everything it’s very very good!!!
Very extensive wine list, very good food, and beautiful views. Service was good, but bit slow.
Service n food was underwhelming and a bit disappointing given the price and location
Phenomenal dinner and Daniel provided warm and knowledgeable service.
Everything's perfect. Especially view was so nice!
