The food was fantastic and the atmosphere was nice for a quiet dinner. Wine selection was excellent as well.

Love Asiago’s. Dinner with my son and granddaughter for early Fathers Day while Mom and older sister went to a wedding. Our server was incredible in spite of a lot of customers. Three very different meals: Grammy the vegan, son the healthy salad and great seafood, nine year old the lasagna fan. Everyone was happy.

Best Italian food in Boise without question! Janel was our server and did an outstanding job and really made our experience wonderful. I can't wait to go back!

Food took to long to prepare, was left under heat lamps and meats dried out. My party of ten only two were pleased and they had pasta dishes.

Went to dinner for a girls night out/b'day party. Staff was great & accommodating. The food however was lacking. I ordered from the Specials menu the roasted brussels sprouts w/arugula, beets, goat cheese & figs, added some chicken for more substance. Comes out as a plate loaded with arugula w/a small amount of chicken on it, had to search for the beets & figs. They were hidden under the massive pile of arugula, small shavings that didn't even amount to one whole fig (figs are not very big to begin with) & there was literally 4 thin slices of beets. The brussels sprouts were ground down to micro shavings more like a garnish & not roasted either. The goat cheese was just in a deep fried ball. This "salad" of sorts was extremely disappointing, especially for $17. Very rarely do I write reviews, hate giving a bad one but this just didn't meet expectations & the description was very misleading. Unfortunately, highly doubtful I'll be making a return visit.

We have been to Asiago several times but this was the worst. First off, the waitress seemed to be very pushy and hyper. I appreciate attentive waitstaff but not pushy and borderline rude. We were there to relax , enjoy a bottle of wine and our meal. The salad, which we have had before, is described as shaved brussel sprouts with arugula, goat cheese and beet carpaccio with a tarragon orange balsamic vinaigrette. There were literally no brussel sprouts and the dressing tasted like vinegar only.

'My husband had the gnocchi and left nearly all of it on the plate. Gnocchi is commonly described as light, fluffy and pillow like. This gnocchi was dense and gummy. The sauce was acceptable and met the description on the menu. My eggplant was acceptable. Overall, one of the worst dining experiences we've had in recent times. Won't be returning.

My family and I have enjoyed going to Asiago's for about 3 years now. Unfortunately this time the quality off the food and service were extremely poor. I have been getting the same pasta dish for 3 years and was very disappointed by the lack of flavor and quality of the food. The dish was cold and soggy. The servers gave very poor service and were not helpful or kind.

We go to Asiago often and always enjoy it. The waitstaff are efficient and friendly, the food is interesting and well prepared. If something is not as you expected, they cheerfully replace it. I recommend Asiago to friends because you can count on it!

Try family and I went for my Birthday and were expecting a great time. Our waitress didn’t seem too interested in us (we had 3 young kids) and wasn’t that attentive. The food was good and came in a reasonable time. After dinner my mom had brought a cake and we were told we would have to pay $2 per slice, including the cupcakes for the kids. Not only did she charge us $18 to eat dessert (a fee she should’ve waived bc of how much we were spending) BUT she added gratuity for a large group (again, only 6 adults and 3 young kids) so she got a 18% tip for us cutting the cake. It was a disappointing way to end the meal.

We had a reservation here for brunch for Mother's Day. In all fairness our time was for an hour before the buffet ended but it seemed like they gave up a little early. Everything was picked over and not being replenished. What was there was not great quality. It wasn't horrible, but definitely not worth the $70 we paid for 3 people to eat.

Came in for Mother’s Day with the family. We were seated promptly and the buffet was a good value. The food was hit or miss. Certain items were pretty tasty but a few (namely the Sea Bass, Lamb Benedict, and Turkey were all over cooked. Our reservation was a at 11, but the buffet seemed to struggle to keep up with food as they were out of a lot of items most of the time. I realize it is a special occasion thing they do so maybe the normal lunch/dinner runs smoother.

Our hostess was overwhelmed and not very welcoming. She needs to realize there are many other dining options right down the street. Asiagos is really just average so the first impression needs to stand out . However, since she stressed us out we just sat at the bar and the service was top notch , comparable to other larger more vibrant cities. The food was under seasoned and the soup watery and diluted. We will visit again probably in a year or so. Having said that, Asiagos is a good, safe staple for downtown Boise.

Love Asiago’s!! Dinner before a show with a friend. Very easy to make the reservation, and we were seated right away as soon as we arrive. Great quality food. Excellent service. My only complaint is that it was very loud, because it was very crowded on a Saturday evening.

Absolute worst service. Came here for my fathers birthday and they completely forgot about us. We waited over an hour to get our food while the tables next to us got theirs in half the time. Not only did they charge me twice on my bill, they overcharged what my total was. Completely disappointed

The food was very bland - as in, the chef didn't even season with salt and pepper. I couldn't finish my gnocchi, because at that point, there was no way to get it to taste decent. We will not return.

Service was great. Food was not. Maybe we ordered the wrong thing. We tried the special and the meat was way too Smokey. I liked my salad but my husband was very disappointed with his ceaser. It was wilted and not good. Wish we could give better comments. Penny was great with our service. Try a different meal.

This was my first bad meal at Asiago's. I ordered the tenderloin medalions with chef's pick veggies. The meat was red in the center. I wasn't asked how I wanted it cooked. I'd have been happy with pink, but not red. It came with mashed potatoes, which wasn't on the daily menu, and asparagus. The meat was seasoned with something that burned my mouth. There was no mention on the daily menu of hot seasonings.

Everytime someone came in they were seated near us, not in any of the other rooms. It was very noisy and I could hardly hear the waiter's answers. Very disappointing for me. My friends enjoyed their meal.

Food & wine was excellent, we all had pasta & a salad. We were in a separate room & it was full & super loud (some groups before asked to be moved because of the noise) so if you are coming for a more romantic vibe, ask not to be in that room for sure. Great pasta as always!

Boring menu - never changes. For a restaurant that prides itself on seasonal and local food, tHe options are the same year round and has stayed the same for at least 2-3 years that I know of. Not too many choices for people who want more veggies and dairy free options.
