15 pieces of sashimi (tuna, salmon, hamachi, & whitefish)
hand-battered shrimp & vegetables
Really big menu with lots of options, not a fan of the peanut sauce or the relatively small vegetable portion sizes but overall food and ambiance and service was very good, would definitely go back
Asia Bay has been one of our favourite sushi Thai restaurants. It now has new owners and pleased to report, food is still up there.
Pad Thai, Edamame, Tom Ka Soup, Dragon Roll. Decent Albarino wine.
Nice new host too. Kept servers and staff!
Give them a chance!
Terrace outdoor dining along a stream in Downtown Las Olas.
Pay Parking in garage behind restaurant.
My husband and I were on a date . Amazing food , service was good . Place was not very crowded . When the server cleared our table he would just put dishes on the table behind us .Drinks were tasty .
Amazing service from Wayne and one of the best happy hour food menus in town. It’s a minor thing, but the sushi rolls come sliced small enough that you can actually eat them without feeling like you are bobbing for apples. And the freshness of the Gish was undeniable.
Two thumbs up!
First, the pork and the shrimp steamed dumpling appetizers were outstanding. My husband loved his mixed grill pad thai. It was very tasty and plenty of it. My Bay sushi roll with whitefish, salmon, cream cheese, and spicy miso was delicious. I had ordered a side salad which had the most wonderful warm peanut dressing which I ordered on the side. I also requested some ginger dressing which was also a hit.
We loved our server, Tenisha, who was so kind and accommodating. She laughed at all my husband's jokes, so she proved she was a woman of patience with great social skills. She is an asset to any restaurant's staff.💜🤟
Best Thai food in Fort Lauderdale by far
First I'd like to say that the staff was very friendly and helpful, every time smiling and taking care of our table. The place looks nice and clean, unfortunately we could not sit outside due to weather. Since was valentines day we were expecting a different decoration or at least some nice touch. The food it did not look fresh, I had soup tasted like a microwaved from the day before and the sashimi was looking kind old (I am not an specialist). I would not recommend since most of the people who like japanese food, like it them fresh, also for Las Olas and all the work to find park and all the people it was not worth.
Restaurant half empty on Sunday night, yet service was pretty lackadaisical. My special seafood pad Thai was average. Had it 4,weeks earlier and it was very good then, 2 small lobster tails cut up and other nice seafood. This version appeared to be whatever seafood was left over, and noodles were mushy. Have loved Asia Bay in the past, but ready to cross it off my list.
Food is a good portion! The taki roll was a very large size because it’s is a roll with a lot of extra tuna and avocado and cucumber on top and the chicken pad Thai was big, but the food is just like any other Asian fusion restaurant. Their ambiance is amazing outside by the water. Unfortunately the Asia mule was sugary for the first sips and then tasted like water.
Sushi was ok, but our choice of Tempura meal was a huge disappointment without any taste. The waitress was so stressful so we haven’t eaten up the sushi before next meal. We had hope to have a calm & great New Years dinner but this become the opposite.
Great place and service!
We’ve dined here before and it was very good. Unfortunately, because it was x-Mas they were short handed. The hostess Stephanie was awesome and she was our waitress for the night! She was amazing and made the night for us. It took over an hour to get our food.
Its not a bad susihi place however i could use some more details. The service is good but slightly agresive.
IT ALL WENT WELL UNTIL I SAW THE DOGS COMING INTO THE MAIN DINING AREA....IM SORRY BUT, I DONT WANT TO GO OUT FOR DINNER AND HAVE DOGS ALL AROUND ME! THEN WHEN I START SNEEZING ALL OVER THE RESTAURANT, IM THE ONE SPREADING GERMS!!!
Our waiter Alfred (the German gentleman) was outstanding and very accommodating.
Veryyyy good!! A bit pricey however delicious! We sat outside and had a great dinner
Food was good, drink service a little slow, overall we had a good experience
Our server was excellent and the food was great.
Good food with many choices to choose from. We would go back when in the area.
Alfredo was very nice and did excellent job.
Maybe the local should need a refresh or an improvment.
We were sitting in the terrasse.
Only negative the overall price is a little bit expensive
The sushi wasn’t what we expected.
It was just ok... nothing exciting. The waiter always was in a hurry... sweating. Had to ask him to slow down several times while taking the order.
This is one of our favorite restaurants. Alfred is our favorite waiter too!
I thoroughly enjoyed the food, ambience, and service at this elegant restaurant.
Best Thai sushi in South Florida.
Wayne was our server and he was perfect! Knew just what we needed. I forgot to thank the sushi chefs before we left. The sushi here is always top notch. My fav place for sushi.
We went for dinner on a Wednesday evening 6:30 pm. The restaurant was almost completely empty, not a good sign for me but as the night got later it definitely picked up in business.
We started with the Shrimp Shumai which was flavorless and very mushy even after being pan fried. Later found out from the server, they are frozen prior to cooking. The one (1) shrimp in each dumpling was no larger than a salad shrimp. Our entrees included Sushi combo for one, Tempura Shrimp with vegetables & Thai Chicken with Volcano sauce. Sushi was a hit, Tempura Shrimp was exactly what was to be expected and the Chicken entree was average. The volcano sauce tasted of a spicy fruit flavor and had no taste of any garlic, the first ingredient listed in the sauce.
Service & atmosphere was nice. Some prices are higher on the restaurant menu than shown on the website, reasonable for the area but not necessarily for all food.
Our food at Asia Bay exceeded our expectation. There were four of us and we all had the Seafood Pad Thai special. It was delicious and each portion was enough for 3 meals. Although the food was really good, this dining experience missed out on being a 5 star experience because our server was very bad. He did not take drink orders, forgot to bring us eating utensils, and probably entered our order late as we got our food about an hour after we had arrived. At the end, he also mixed up the credit cards
